  1. Introvert. I have no problem spending time alone, and have a hard time with a break the ice and conversations about nothing with people. If the conversation and person is interesting, I can talk to them for a while.
  2. Watch, at home they'll beat the Patriots. Something we still can't do.
  3. It doesn't affect me; just a game and life goes on. They've been losing for too long; one would be miserable if they took it that seriously.
  4. The other pair I thought of was Walsh and Montana. Still not close to Brady and Belichick.
  5. Maybe for a short time, but McVay picks up on this and counters. What I would worry about is the Pats bringing pressure up the middle and the Rams OLine fails to read and pick it up.
  6. Belichick and Brady go hand in hand. Lose one, and the team falls off substantially. Probably the greatest HC/QB duo ever.
  7. Reggie Bush was a shell of his former self the year he played here, but I don't doubt his account. It makes sense, actually.
  8. Rams have a better D than the Chargers and Chiefs, and a DC in Wade Phillips who has faced Brady in the past and been successful. Rams O can put up a ton of points. 35-14 Rams
  9. Yep. The sad thing is they get recycled once they get fired.
  10. Doh.. yeah it did. I see what you meant in your post.
  11. It has been done before. https://247sports.com/nfl/oakland-raiders/Article/The-Gruden-Trade-105115968/ "During the 2001-02 offseason, the Oakland Raiders allowed head coach Jon Gruden to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for 1st and 2nd round draft picks in 2002, a 1st round pick in 2003 and a 2nd round pick in 2004, plus cash. The trade continues to have an effective on the Raiders in 2011-12, albeit under the law of diminishing returns."
  12. Right, because stats mean everything and Bortles is such a great QB. How could one think otherwise?
  13. That's a different story if Cleveland wants Bortles, then fine, I don't care what Cleveland does. I took the OP to mean Buffalo to bring in Bortles, which I would be against as it is totally unnecessary.
  14. Not sure why we need to even consider this. For once in 20+ years the Bills are set in the QB department. Where would Bortles fit in?
  15. I don't think he's making an apples to apples comparison of the Pegulas to Haslam. I read it that both sets of owners made rookie owner mistakes and were indecisive. The difference now is that the Pegulas seem to be more patient and are letting their decision play out; which we need to hope works out. Haslam is not patient and has been making rookie owner mistakes for several years as well as interjecting himself into football ops decisions, which the Pegulas do not seem to do. I'd take the Peguals over Haslam.
  16. Yeah, try telling that to Steelers fans; I have a couple who are relatives. To them, everything is a-ok in Steeler-land.
  17. Interesting to see Pittsburgh at #5; this wouldn't have been so just a couple of years ago. Pretty big knock on Tomlin, who seems to be in over his head as of late. He's going to have to do pretty bad next season for his seat to get warm, though.
  18. That is pretty extreme. You win.
  19. Don't forget CJ Anderson. Rams need to get him involved in the run game early and often; CJ was a bigger factor than Gurley yesterday and is the 'fresher' back. Gurley didn't look like himself. Hope the next two weeks fixes this.
  20. Other than maybe Chicago, who would that be?
  21. I like the logic in your post. IMO, calling Brady GOAT is an apples to oranges comparison with guys like Marino, Elway, Kelly, Montana, etc playing in a different era with different philosophies and rules; just not an appropriate comparison. I do think NE is the GOAT pro sports franchise. What they have been able to do in this era of FA is remarkable since it is harder to hold onto good players and stay within a salary cap. They seem to value a core: Belichick, Brady, Gronk, Edelpunk; the rest look to be plug and play. They are good at evaluating a player and determining if the player can fit into the system and bringing out a player's strengths. It will be interesting to see how they'll replace Gronk, if they even can, since his physical skills are really deteriorating. Win or lose (which I really hope they lose) this is not the end of NE. I don't think they'll be done until they're like 6-10 and Brady is getting pounded by the opposing defense. This could take a few more years.
  22. IMO, Russel Wilson blew this. He looked over to the hot WR on the play which Malcolm Butler saw (who admitted as much later and sniffed out the play).
