  1. As far as I know it's true. Supposedly she cheated on him with AB before they got married. Several other posters made reference to this, I think Kirby being one of them.
  2. I wasn't aware they were still having problems, I was under the impression they got things sorted out. As the Poyers' World Turns.
  3. If you're into skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing and mountaineering, there is a lot of that near Salt Lake City. I was just at Snowbird skiing and snowboarding a couple of weeks ago and it is fantastic. It is a nice area from what I saw, and the locals I talked to were all nice and liked living there. The only real downside I could see is that since SLC is in a valley and surrounded by mountains, there can be a smog problem as the air can't always escape easily. Good luck.
  4. Don't you think the AB and Poyer's wife ordeal will factor into this decision? I'm not sure McDermott will want to bring that into the locker room, no matter how good AB is and assuming there is more to the AB/Ben story than what the public knows. I also don't see McDermott wanting to break up the Poyer/Hyde/Tre trio by trading Poyer as I've seen mentioned somewhere around here.
  5. Right. There has to be more. Wall Steet billionaire fund managers and Citigroup presidents can find a rub 'n tug in NYC I'm sure. What's so special about a seedy little spa in a strip mall in Jupiter, FL? I'm sure more will come out in the next couple of weeks.
  6. This makes a lot of sense, I agree. Not sure most of the owners, including the Krafts, can see this since most billionaires are far removed from the general public and really don't understand the general public. Can you imagine the premium that a franchise like NE would attract? The Krafts bought in 1994, I believe. Purchased low, sell high. Would be a smart move, IMO. Wash your hands of the entire situation (from a PR perspective) and pay the comparatively small penalty for misdemeanor soliciting. The spa owners will end up paying the price for trafficking and minor employment.
  7. The guy from Barstool sports sounded serious about it, and Tucker seemed to take him at face value and believe him. Not sure how much of a sports fan Tucker is, so he may not know better.
  8. Yeah, I know. It was just easier to frame it that way in a forum. So you were watching... I'm not sure Tucker picked up on the satire either.
  9. On TV the guy sounded like he was being serious. I'm not really familiar with Barstool sports, so I took it as if he actually believed what he was saying. Wasn't aware it was a joke or satire.
  10. Ahh, makes sense. Then I'll assume his take on Kraft being framed is satire as well.
  11. I saw this clown on a news program this evening. Everything from: it was an AFC East rival to Roger Goodell in order to get rid of the Patriots. Hope Barstool Sports goes away, the sooner the better.
  12. I agree that Kraft went for the happy ending, or more, Not sure how it will be proven that he knew the girls are trafficked in and/or are minors.
  13. Yes. The only way I can rationalize this is that workplace sexual harassment is a form of bullying, therefore Jerry Richardson is a bully. Kraft, as of now, is just horny. There is no proof (at least not yet) that he know the spa was participating in human trafficking. If it is proven that Kraft knew this and still patronized the spa, it only gets worse for him. I know. Augie and I were just joking about suspending Brady for this.
  14. Would be nice, but he's still the face of "The Shield." It's not Mahomes, not yet, anyway. I can't wait to see how many draft picks NE gets taken away.
  15. Good points. Agree that Goodell has to come down hard on Kraft. I don't think that any punishment that Goodell comes up with should be dictated by the media. The media's job is to report...that's it. I do think the other 31 owner's advice/opinions probably should be sought out as it is a small fraternity and they all have to work together on league issues. It will be interesting to see the final verdict. Kraft's star will fall hard, for sure, but I'm not sure he'll be forced to sell the franchise ala Carolina. Bob Kraft will most likely be banished from the NFL and his son will run the franchise.
  16. Not to make this about current events, but yeah, I agree with you. I don't trust most of the media today, and neither should anyone else.
  17. The thing is, it shouldn't be. Goodell fined Jim Irsay $500K and took away draft picks a couple of years ago for prescription drug abuse. Goodell just has to come up with a punishment that suits the crime for patronizing a spa guilty of human smuggling. I think the question becomes: did Kraft know about the smuggling? If he did, the punishment should be even worse.
  18. This will be a huge PR disaster for Kraft, and NE to a certain extent. I'd think the spa owners will be in more trouble for human trafficking, like jail trouble.
  19. Yeah, that one. Looks like he appeared in Federal court yesterday.
  20. Well, a reporter asked him about it and Trump answered the question. So it sounds like your beef is with the reporter. I'd guess we'll hear more about the Coast Guard terrorist once the investigation is done.
  21. Any one have an account on Patsfan.com? Start a thread and post this Gif. Should go over well. ?
  22. Sean Payton...if only that would have worked out. Probably would have been fired by Ralph a couple of years later, anyway.
  23. I wasn't referring to you re: poor man's Chandler. That was another poster.
  24. Chandler had four fumbles; I thought I remember ball security as somewhat of an issue with him. Regarding the bolded part, I'm starting to lean that way. I definitely don't think James is a poor man's Chandler, but rather is an upgrade. TE2 is probably right.
  25. Hmmm...what you mention here doesn't put James in an exceptional light. Funny, if Chandler was that good, why didn't he last past the 2015 season with NE? Much better QB, coaching, and surrounding cast. Yet his numbers were not really any better than in Buffalo. Also, Chandler had four fumbles in his career, James has zero. Perhaps the posters who state that James is a #2 TE and that we should temper our expectations are correct. We'll need to draft a #1 TE, though I question if it is important enough to do this year. Rather spend the capital on a DT, edge, OL, WR, and RB.
