  1. The only reason I remember that is because he mentioned it during a thread for a prime time game Pitt was playing this past season. I asked him if this was even possible, and he said it was since Jesse James will be a FA and Pitt is committed to Vance McDonald. And no, I don't keep records of predictions. What I am surprised about is the number of posters who are down on James, even seeming someone calling him a poor man's Scott Chandler. Really? Chandler had problems catching the ball, staying healthy, all while being even less athletic than James.
  2. He's only 24 and is a solid TE. Hope we get him. Not sure how Jax will be able to afford him, their cap situation isn't good. One of our posters, @MrEpsYtown mentioned the possibility of James becoming a Buffalo Bill a couple of months ago.
  3. Yep. Kamala Harris is a real piece of work. 1. She is an idiot 2. She slept her way to where she is now.
  4. Sadly, few seem to anymore. Sure, I'll see kids playing organized league soccer and lacrosse games, but no pickup baseball or football games. Today's kids seem to live indoors; something I would have been bored with as a kid.
  5. This:
  6. Wasn't Ducasse a healthy scratch the last couple of games this past season? He also has a $2M+ cap hit this season and $83K dead cap. Not good enough to keep around, IMO. I get it, there are holes to be filled and we don't necessarily want to make more holes, but I'd argue why fill holes with bad players...if he was graded as one of our better OLine players, it is not saying much for our Oline.
  7. Thanks, wasn't aware that Groy is gone. IMO, all the more reason to cut Murphy. Supposedly this upcoming draft is heavy with DLine talent, so I can see them drafting an edge rusher, along with a DT.
  8. I think Ducasse, Trent Murphy, Ryan Groy, and Chris Ivory will end up cut. Bodine is a serviceable backup at center. McCoy will be here in the 2019 season and hopefully will be back to his old self with a new OL blocking scheme. No way is Star going anywhere.
  9. I haven't heard anything that said Clay was a bad teammate, but he needed to go. Hope Clay kept the cash and calls it a career.
  10. I'm with you on that. ? I really hope I don't see an eggs benedict cereal, or pulled pork cereal, medium-rare NY strip cereal, etc....
  11. Eggs benedict cereal? Never heard of it or seen it on the shelf at the store. Until I find that, I'll stick with Multi grain Cheerios
  12. Elway grasping at straws. There's not another Peyton Manning available to bail him out.
  13. IDK, man. Angelina is (or at least was) pretty hot.
  14. The Bahamas are a very poor country. I've been there and it is third world. The locals have no problems with stealing from tourists; I had my backpack stolen from a booze cruise.
  15. I expect Trent Murphy to be cut. Injury concern, and he's nothing special when he is on the field. Actually, a run defense liability as he doesn't maintain his lane.
  16. A model did during a photo shoot and got bit in the a$$ https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/lifestyle-buzz/fitness-model-michelle-lewin-attacked-and-bitten-by-wild-pigs-on-bahamas-shoot/ar-BBTv5B2?li=BBnbfcL
  17. Maybe try spraying some unscented bleach on the stain and scrub it with a rag. Wash some soap and water after the bleach with a different rag. That's probably how I'd approach it.
  18. I think you have the right thought with your OP. I suspect Dawkins is still "penciled in" at LT, but Beane and McD will be looking for an upgrade at LT. This is probably the case with all positions on the OLine. The only thing we can be certain of is that the OLine in the 2019 season will look much different than the OLine of 2018.
  19. Probably time to be rid of him. Had one promising year, then poo after that.
  20. Kenyan Drake, but doesn't sound like he'll be part of the purge.
  21. https://sports.yahoo.com/report-dolphins-plan-part-ways-ryan-tannehill-tank-2019-season-tua-tagovailoa-053122204.html "So basically, the Dolphins are planning to spend little to no money on a team that went 7-9 last season. They could also cut or trade some veterans, with Robert Quinn, Andre Branch, Josh Sitton and DeVante Parker mentioned as possibilities. [] That obviously all sets up for a team putrid enough to be in serious contention for the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL draft, with Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa reportedly of high interest to Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. And if the Dolphins miss on Tagovailoa, a potentially even better prospect awaits in the 2021 draft in Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence."
  22. I'm glad they won; but honestly, I'm happier when the Pats* lose - no matter who they play.
  23. I'd guess they will have a competition between Fales and Osweiler for starting QB in 2019. I would expect them to draft a QB in 2020.
  24. I wonder which triggers more posts with most sentiments falling toward each end of the spectrum - a Tyrod thread or a Whaley thread? Tough call. I liked Tyrod and wish him well. He was easily the best drought QB we had. Too bad only A. Lynn knew how to get the most from him. Dennison was useless. Tyrod will most likely be a backup for the rest of his career; lacks too many intangibles and Lynn can't be his OC.
