Do you really need to have a top tier #1 WR to be successful?
Happy replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO, a star WR is icing on the cake. You can't rely on him to make your offense function. I'd rather spend the money and draft capital shoring up both lines. That is how you win. -
G Jon Feliciano (Raiders) to the Bills

While I like the idea of getting rid of Raphael Bush, Earl Thomas might be close to done. He hasn't played a full season since 2015.

Bills internal discussions about Trey Flowers - DE
Happy replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Matt Patricia was obviously quite fond of Trey Flowers. Averages out to $18M/year. -
Here is what spotrac had to say about Daryl Williams in the FA tracker. Hope it happens. The advanced metrics aren't too kind to Williams, but he's arguably the best available Right Tackle on the market. Because the Bills need one, and appear to be OK signing every Panthers' cast-off, this seems like a done deal.

Could it be possible Ndamukong Suh to Bills?
Happy replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't mind him on a two year deal. Suh is still a force in the middle, which we need. Would also need to draft a DT. -
Cardinals Expected to Sign Former Raven Terrell Suggs
Happy replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, Gore is younger by a year. Frank Gore is 35, Terrell Suggs is 36. -
Meh. He didn't really do that much with the Redskins.

Amendola finally leaving AFC East

I wish Edelpunk would follow him out of the ACFE. -
Afternoon nap. Oh wait, wrong GM.

Switching between DST and Standard Time is kind of pointless. Just pick one and keep the time the same going forward.

Has anyone else given up TV/Movies/Music?
Happy replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I seem to recall Brolin and his wife were hunkered down either in their house or another motel waiting for Javier. As he was approaching, the movie ended. It has been several years since I last saw the movie, so a re-fresh might be in order. I definitely recall that a specific ending (Javier or Brolin being shot) did not occur, rather the viewer was left to think about it for themselves. -

Brolin and Javier were both alive at the end of the movie, as was Brolin's wife. Javier took out everyone else, though. Brolin shot Javier in the motel scene, but it wasn't fatal. It's been a few years since I saw the movie, but if I recall correctly, it ended as Javier was pursuing Brolin who rejoined his wife at the motel she was hiding out at. -

I have to agree with you - everyone WANTS the protagonist to win. But Javier was a bad m-fer; like a real life terminator. I think Javier's character ends up wiping out Brolin and his wife and gets the crime money back. Interesting concept to leave the viewer hanging and thinking about it, like the producers and directors were encouraging the viewer to be honest and not emotional. -

That was a great "newer" movie, from 2007. So, who do you think wins the standoff? The protagonist played by Josh Brolin or the antagonist played by Javier Bardem? -

I watch less and less TV these days, mostly just the news. Most movies today I have little interest in as they just don't seem to be as creative as years past. Couple this with the fact that Hollywood/entertainment has become too political; they want to rub your face in it as often as they can. There is some good music today, mostly alt rock. I find myself listening to a lot of older stuff, though. Maybe because I identify with it and I'm starting to get old -
Everybody says this; look at Belichick. He does this, he does that, he can fart and land on the moon, etc. Here's the problem, the majority, if not all, of the rest of the coaches in the NFL are not as smart as Belichick. Pederson and Peyton may be the exceptions. The reason why NE won the SB is because Belichick is smarter and more experienced than McVay. Unfortunately, this includes McD. I don't think McD is anywhere near the coach that Belichick is, and I'm not completely confident that he'll get there, either. I think McD can be a decent to good coach, but I think that he is a bit too conservative and lacks the "finish them off" mentality to be on a Belichick level. Having said this, I believe that the only way to beat Belichick is to have a number of stars in multiple positions. Belichick may not need this, but pretty much every other coach does. I don't see how you beat him consistently without it; McDermott included. I understand your initial post, and this was just my opinion.

IG Live is a real time feed, so if this DaBossJohn guy is not on IG Live, someone who is probably has to send him the real time feed - copy and paste. That would explain his sources comment. I'm not on IG, IG Live, Twitter, etc; I just read how it works since I was curious. This twitter account is, from what I can tell, some guy (DaBossJohn) who is obviously at least a big Saints fan. Don't know how much more than him being a fan, though he mentioned knowing someone/having contacts in the organization in one of his tweets a while back. He was right about AB not going to Buffalo when we were all giddy from the Rappaport and NFLN breaking news that said a deal was near done. So we'll see.
