  1. So because he's, in your opinion, the only legit QB, the Bills should over pay to get him? Thn why not offer $ 10 million and a 6 year contract... Really sweetin the deal...
  2. You didn't even answer the question. I'll ask again, why would Josh Freeman be worth $5 million?
  3. I'm sorry but why is Josh Freeman worth $5 million?
  4. Thad Lewis to start against Cincy.
  5. I have mixed feelings on this. It really depends on where the Bills are picking and how these crop of QB's grade out. 1st round picks are extremely valuable and teams, even teams with questions at QB, can't waste picks on QB's they THINK will turn out to be great. Yea, I get that the draft is a crap shoot and you never know, but meanwhile when the Bills keep picking QB after QB in the first round the talent of the rest of the team possibly deteriorates. And yes, I realize there is talent throughout the draft, but look at where most of the talent on the Bills lie. Mario, CJ, Dareus, Gilmore, Lawson, Woods. Are some of you saying, instead of Gilmore, the Bills should have made a move for Tannehill or Weedon? If it's can't miss talent like Luck or Manning or even Ryan, sure you draft them, just don't know if you can keep throwing away picks on QB's without actually developing one.
  6. A top-5 safety, Jarius, for the 3rd string QB of the Giants, Nassib... Seriously?!? Haha. All because you think he knows the Bills offense. Brilliant. That was good for a laugh
  7. I like it. Certainly could run the Bills offense.
  8. This is complete speculation. The Bills/Marrone gave no timetable and I highly doubt the Bills medical staff leaked a timetable. I said this a few pages back but this is reporters asking "sources" for their opinion on average recovery times. RGIII had the same injury and came back after 2, whether he should have or not is up for debate. Most reporters are saying 4 weeks, but could be 6-8. Again, that's average recovery times... Which a pretty varied. Truth is, as Marrone said, they have to wait til the swelling comes down, in a week, to get a timetable. He's a young kid, and was on the early timetable with his other knee, so I'd say I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be on that timetable now. I' think he'll be able to play in 2 weeks, but the Bills will be cautious and wait 3. EDIT: Jason LaCanfora just did an interview and said 2-4 weeks.
  9. I was thinking 3 as well, probably ok after 2 weeks, but 3 for precautionary measures.
  10. No disrespect to Joe B, but he's just speculating. I'm sure his "league source" is someone familiar with LCL sprains and their average healing time. Truth is, even Marrone said they won't know til the swelling goes down, hence why he didn't commit to a time table.
  11. Are they retarded, it was Hoyer's inability to slide correctly that tore his ACL not the supposed helmet to helmet hit, which I think was shoulder to helmet. Unless Hoyer is so magical that his ACL runs up through his neck.
  12. I like the idea of David Carr
  13. Well can't blame them for that, he has done a very very poor job... Bring back Moorman?
  14. Thats what it looked like when I first saw it, but then he grabbed for the knee, and the trainers were examining his knee.
  15. I don't believe I said anything about being done with him, I asked a question about what leads this poster to believe Tuel has promise. EDIT: And since when does Jeff Tuel = Tom Brady?
  16. What exactly, did Tuel do last night, that leads you to believe he has promise? Seriously...
  17. Couple other reporters said MCL sprain as well.. but your right, I think everyone is just speculating at this point.
  18. Here's the article at ESPN that says its MCL sprain: http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/2295/injuries-catching-up-with-bills
  19. ESPN is saying sprained MCL, which could mean some time missed... or could be similar to FJ, thats what the MRI would tell.what grade it is, 6-10 weeks seems like a bit much, but I'm no Dr.
  20. Yea, that would mean the MRI was done already...
  21. Wilson over Flynn?? Thats looking more and more like it was the easiest call to make. Flynn is now the #3 in Oakland after a crap performance. How about all the money Seatle wasted on getting Flynn only to dump him?
  22. Exactly, I enjoy the games, I don't let it ruin my day/week because they lose.
  23. I think he had a point to challenge that and the refs should have waved off the flag. But you can't challenge it, which makes no sense.
  24. I think, and could be wrong, he was trying to challenge that Jordan Cameron had stepped out of bounds, which he had, before the interference happened. Which I'm not sure an ineligible player can be interfered with. But because any sort of judgment call, like pass interference, can't be reviewed, he lost the challenge. I'm just guessing at this though...
