I'm going to say no. He has a choice on where he goes, because he is getting a paycheck from TB. He will want to go somewhere where he knows he can become a starter. The Bills are invested in EJ, he's there guy. He'd be more likely to go to Cleveland, where he could become the starter when Weeden falters. Or maybe even Jacksonville. Oakland is another possibility because his old OC is there.

I believe, and I'm just speculating, that he thought the call was goin to be pass interference, which is challengable. My question is, Cameron ran out of the back of the endzone, making himself not eligible. Can a non eligible reciever be interfered with? Which I think is why Marrone was going to challenge it...

Chan Gailey is a great offensive mind

- 3rd and 1, 5 WR's and an empty backfield - Punting from the 35 - No matter which RB was having a great game, switching RBs every other series - Copying the wildcat, badly. And so on... -
@Browns - Thursday Night Football

I wouldn't exactly say they shut down the Vikings. Peterson and Ponder, who ran on designed runs, ran 28 times 134 yards and 3 TDs. They specifically couldn't stop ponder. -

Previous to the Bills/Ravens games, the Ravens had allowed an average of 74 YPG rushing... Not sure I'd read too much into the Browns stopping the Bengals RB's. -

I think thats the best point. His son/wife will never know it was him, which he stressed all through the series he was doing it for them, although he in the end admitted it was for himself. So although they are getting the money, it's not from him as far as they know, so it's not winning in Walt's eyes. -
I don't understand why Jerry brings out the Pro-Bowl argument, like its some measure of how good a player is. It's a popularity contest, that Byrd made by being an alternate. He wasn't even the first 2 choices within the AFC. The Pro-Bowl is dead. Then he uses the argument that he was the best player on defense last year. which was a historically bad defense. Giving up scores of 48, 52, 45 and 50. Then he brings Darrelle Revis into the conversation, as if Jarius can be compared to him? Darrelle was able to do what he did because he IS the best at his position, not top 5 or whatever.

Loved it. From the start and as Walts involvement in the meth scene increased there was really only 2 ways it could end. Walt gets caught or he dies. I didn't expect any surprises and if there was some crazy ending, I'd have been really disappointed. That's how you wrap up a show. No need to be cute and overthink it. -

I'm not sure I understand the hindsight posts regarding Galley. In my opinion Galley was in over his head a lot of the time and it was frustrating. As others have said, he would go away from the run eventhough it had worked an entire half. He refused to used Spillar inside the 20 after he would do all the work to get the Bills there. Way, way too many open backfield sets with WR's not getting open. He didn't do any sort of in game adjustments, IMO. It also annoyed me when it was 3rd and short and the Bills would come out with an empty backfield set. Beyond frustrating. Lets not forget, these 2 situations are completely different. Hackett has a rookie QB at the helm and plenty of young WR's. Gailey had a "veteran" QB and a stable of experienced WR's, albeit not very talented. Did Galley do better with what he had? Maybe... But there's a reason he isn't on the sidelines this year. -

See this is the problem, people look at the score board and think the Ravens killed the Texans. Their offense had 1 scoring drive and that was in the 3rd quarter. Their defense and special teams scored 14 of their points. Flacco was 16/24 and threw for 171 yards with 0 TDs. The Ravens rushed for 75 yards on 31 attempts. All of this was while they were at a home game... I think this will be a close game, with the Bills squeaking out a win. Bills 21 Ravens 20 -
Tj is our #2 on wr death chart
Wayne Cubed replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Meh, I wouldn't read too much into the depth chart. Last game, Woods played every single play, think it was 78 of 78. Stevie was like 70 of 78 and I think Graham was like 56 of 78. -
EJ vs. Russell Wilson's First 3 NFL Starts
Wayne Cubed replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But why stop at just Wilson for perspective, lets look at Andrew Luck, who is supposedly the second coming of Peyton Manning, through the first 3 weeks last year: Andrew Luck 65 of 122 (53.3%), 846 yards (282 yards/game), 6.9 YPA, 5 TDs to 4 Ints, 1 fum lost, 20.3 points W-L: 1-2 So, are his numbers that much higher than Manuel, considering his status as the overall #1 pick? IMO no. Manuel has completed one less pass on 14 less attempts. His TD/INT ratio is much better. The Colt's loses came agains Chicago and Jacksonville. There win came against Minnesota. Seems people in Indy were pretty pleased with his games at the beginning of the season. -
Piling onto the ROOKIE EJ Manuel is moronic

I realize it's not EJ. The play calling really gets me, where are the screen calls? I feel like I've seen none to CJ. I just don't get it. -

To get to the Patriots*, "do you wash your hands after taking a leak?" "No" Good stuff. I got the Rams. -
I agree with this take. Sure the Browns will go out and get their QB of the future, but what is one thing a rookie QB can lean on? A good running game. Could they get a serviceable RB in the later rounds? Of course, but thats an awfully big risk. I agree that this is absolutely like giving up on Spiller in 2011. EDIT: Not to mention this could all blow up in the Browns faces. What if Manziel or Bridgwater don't come out? What if there isn't a clear cut franchise QB?
