Golden Tate's proclamation
Wayne Cubed replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't find it doucey at all. It was said back in OTAs and probably said in jest. Couple of guys remembered and went and picked him up. I'm sure he didn't go "hey guys hoist me up" -
Exactly. Why kind of penis do I feel like today.
-
What if I like my penis, but just want a spare?
-
I knew it was a lot. And this year thus far they have received to start every game.
-
I might be wrong, but it sticks out in my mind and I thought it was odd, but I am pretty sure the Bills kicked off/deffered for every game last year.

At this point, does anyone think we keep Spiller?
Wayne Cubed replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like CJ Spiller, but c'mon man... He did it for one season. Don't you find even a tiny bit odd that FJ, getting older, changing schemes and his production hasn't dipped yet the Bills can't get CJ going? Is this the Chris Johnson argument now? EDIT: And if FJ is able to adapt and just keep chugging along what does that say about CJ? This guy with all the talent in the world can't find a way to make it work? It's getting harder and harder to buy into. -
I don't think it's as ridiculous a statement as you are making it out to be. Freese, the kicker prior to Henery, was 3-7 in FG attempts hence why he got the can. Henery himself was just 1 for 2 in the last game missing a 52 yard attempt, so there was precedent that the Lions kicking game was pretty bad. Like I said earlier in the thread it's not as if Henery was some amazing kicker and the Bills were just lucky to catch him barely miss 3 attempts. His first attempt was his closest, after that he wasn't even close. You don't think the Bills felt more confident and thought it was a success that they were able to force Henery into a long FG? I do. It's all a chess match.

Umm I'm not sure what post you are reading, where did I saw the run game was effective? I was commenting on the fact that it's when they do run, now it's not creative enough. You've actually proved my point even more. The play calling has nothing to do with the OL not blocking well or CJ not finding holes. Would you prefer Hackett run the ball himself? Or block the DL himself? Execution.
-
Sorry but that's a ridiculous comment. (not yours Mendola's) 1. It's not like Henery was some amazing kicker who all of a sudden had a problem hitting kicks vs the Bills. Which would have meant the Bills were very lucky. Detroit has had kicking problems all year. Henery was only 1/2 his last game. The Bills did a hell of a job to make the kicks of the longer variety, therefore increasing their odds of a miss. 2. To say Manuel could have preformed the same against the Lions is also a bit ridiculous. For 2 weeks straight he couldn't get it done against 2 good defense, but all of a sudden he would have gotten it done against the Lions. Would EJ have checked to the run on the 2 point conversion? Would EJ have thrown deep to Goodwin on the 3rd and long? Who knows is the answer and is a terrible comment. 3. It's not the Bills fault Calvin, Reggie and Joique were nicked up. You play who's lined up across from you every week. And thats a nice comment that Matt Stafford looked awful and it couldn't possibly be that the Bills defense was just playing lights out. Sorry, but why does every Bills victory have to come with an asterik. Yea it wasn't a pretty win, but they were still able to beat a team on the road, with a very, very good defense.
-
Funny, last week people were complaining that Hackett got away from the run and passed too much. So he sticks with the run this week and it's he's not "creative enough" with his runs. It couldn't possibly be that the OL is just not run blocking good enough and the Bills happen to be playing a very, very good DL? Or maybe the RB's just aren't executing? Or that the Bills are really weak at the TE position? Was it a pretty win? No. But the Bills won, bro.
-
Exactly. It's not like Orton did nothing in the game. He also checked to the run for the 2 point conversion. Sour grapes.
-
Not taking anything away from Freddie, he played a great game. But the runs today were always going to be tough.
-
True. But to be honest the run blocking has been crap all season.
-
To be fair to Spiller AND Fjax, there was no running game whatsoever. And that's becuse Detroits front 4 are monsters. They aren't gonna run over every single team. Sometimes they meet a really good run defense.

Ralph' Foundation, Buffalo News reporting

Bravo Ralph Wilson Jr., bravo. -
Adam Schefter Lions HC Jim Caldwell said if Calvin Johnson doesn't improve with his ankle injury, there's a chance he misses Sunday's game.

Pretty bad analogy. Kiko is on a rookie contract, a fairly small one. Not really high risk. He gave the Bills 1 very productive year. The Saints just signed Byrd to one of the biggest contracts for a Safety. Pretty high risk considering their cap. They have gotten very little out of him thus far and will now get even less. The injury bug seems to be following him, which maybe why the Bills were hesitant to give him such a big contract.

Did anyone watch Detroit v Carolina
Wayne Cubed replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've watched all the Lions games thus far, and would have to agree. They've lucked out with who they have played as to why their defense has looked as good as it has. And although the Packers game looks great, it's (a) a divisional game and (b) the Packers offense was/is struggling. Even though the Packers won last night, Rodgers didn't have to do much(passed for 195 and 2 TDs) the running game finally got going for the Pack, which it hasn't done all season. I still think they are a good defense, just not world beaters. -
Kyle Orton in action vs. the Eagles (video)
Wayne Cubed replied to QCity's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought he threw the ball to Dez Bryant a lot, as well. If you look at Dallas, Witten/Bryant are really their only star receivers so at least he got the ball to the playmakers, which has been severely lacking with Buffalo. -
