  1. Your observations are just that, observations. They may be factual, but they aren't facts as to support "Brandon is making football decisions." You are observing something and making your own conclusions. Try this, find a quote anywhere, where Russ Brandon has said "I am making the football decisions." That would be a fact and support your opinion. The problem is you can't find that quote. Why would Brandon hide from the media, the fans and pretty much everyone in the NFL that he's making football decisions? To what gain? EDIT: You want a fact to refute your "facts" here you go: Russ Brandon since becoming Team President has never said he is "making football decisions".
  2. Is this one of those magic eye pictures.... Cause damn she looks good!
  3. Jerry Hughes didn't seem to have a problem with the Dolphins new, "better" LT Albert last year. Was able to strip sack Alex Smith.
  4. Seriously, do you not even know your own players? Trusnik who has started all of 5 games in 4 years in Miami, and has recorded a whopping 72 tackles in 4 years is going to be your saviour in the middle?
  5. Ah yes, Cam Wake who had ZERO sacks against the Bills last year. Not to discount the sacks but one came against the TE Hoomanawhateverhisnameis in the 3rd qtr (where was he before that), who should have never been alone on Wake, so thats an error on the Pats blocking scheme, and a sack that Wake should get every time. And the other one came in the 4th qtr, albeit against Solder. Honestly not worried about Wake, he couldn't beat freaking Erik Pears last year.
  6. Great post, I also watched it on NFL Rewind and will echo what you have said. -The Pats* looked warn down, and I think that accounted not just for the defensive line but also the offensive line as well. Cameron Wake sprung to life in the 2nd half, when the OL seemed to be wearing down. In the first half, for the most part, Brady was able to stand in the pocket and deliver. I think this also explains why the Pats* running game went into the crapper. The Dolphins were without Ellerbe, Wheeler and Misi during the game, yet the Pats* weren't able to run all over the Dolphins, thought that was odd. I believe all 3, definitely Ellerbe, will be out this week vs the Bills.
  7. Right, in all seriousness, the rule is: The League codified this approach in an amendment to its Constitution and Bylaws that allows cross-ownership in another major league sports team in two narrow circumstances: (1) if the two franchises are in the same city, or (2) if the other league’s franchise is in a neutral market, defined as one that doesn’t currently host an NFL team and is not deemed a potential NFL city. He meest criteria 1, so no need to do anything.
  8. The other reason you saw zone is because you wouldn't want the Bears big receivers beating one of your guys and getting the long ball. Seeing as the Dolphins receiving core isn't nearly as good as the Bears, I think you'll see Man2Man next week, with pressure at the line to disrupt routes.
  9. Huh? As far as I'm aware he doesn't have to do anything with his ownership of the Sabres, I understand the sports agency as it's a conflict of interest, but the Sabre's comment makes me think LaCanfora doesn't know what he's talking about.
  10. Only thing I'll add is it wasn't man to man coverage, it was a lot of cover 2/cover 3. Thats why the screen game and dump off passed to Forte were so effective, it was basically an extension of their run game. That's also why you saw McKelvin playing as far off the line as he was on some plays.
  11. Stayin'!!!!!!!
  12. Like I said he retweeted Kaplan, who claims there is 2 "undisclosed bidders", then made the jump and tweeted "mystery bidders".
  13. He's quoting Dan Kaplan who tweeted that there is "2 undisclosed bidders". Then goes on to say that there are lots of "leaks", but not always from people in the know.
  14. ...And a loss. Give me EJ's stats and win over Cutler's 400 yards and a loss any Sunday.
  15. Maybe he means per touch? My take is Schwartz played to his opponent. The Bears offense was the 2nd best in the NFL last year, so there was going to be no way, that I could see, of completely stopping them. But they kept the game in front of them and tightened the screws when needed. And they played physical. All of this while missing a starting LB and a starting CB. But that's how you win in the NFL, you depth needs to be able to win you games. The DL was subbing in and out a lot as well. Also, when Jay Cutler throws as much as he did, I think it is pretty much guaranteed he'll have a couple turnovers.
  16. 2nd best Offense in the NFL last season, if I remember correctly. I think they only way you can play a team like that is Jauron-ball. I suspect the defense will continue to improve.
  17. Great post Bill. Agree on the guard play, where it was obviously bad was the screen plays. Both Pears and C. Williams got out in front of a screen play, with a defender to block and wiffed. Hopefully, they pick it up and gel as the season goes along. Seem the turf was in bad shape no? Both Brown and McKelvin and slipped on TD passes.
  18. Goodwin was the receiver that EJ was trying to go to on the INT I believe.
  19. The TD to Marshall, he lost his footing. Looks like a couple players had problems with it. Brown slipped on the first TD to Bennett.
  20. HE WAS HANGING HIS HEAD!
  21. Yea stats are great but did he pass the eye test? Lol
  22. I'd like to say I got FJ first run right.....
  23. Dixon was questionable on Friday. He must be good to go if he's active.
  24. Corey Graham should be "ok" with Gilmore out, maybe not as physical. They are going to pass a ton anyways. EDIT: And Graham played a great game against the Bears last season, so there's that.
