Are we going to be like the obnoxious and unbearable Patriot fans?
jimmy10 replied to Leonitas's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve already apologized in advance to my college buddies on a group text chat we have for how insufferable I will become if the current trajectory continues. They’re all Giants, Cowboys, Steelers fans, etc. They’re all actually really supportive and hope the Bills finally push through this year. -

I saw them at Tops as well. But that was last year. -
Should we be thanking JJ Watt for not choosing Buffalo?

Maybe over Mario W. -
I lost a coworker buddy during the pandemic who was a massive Bills fan. We always wasted a good 30-60 minutes every Monday morning during the season shooting the ***** about the team. We’re all returning to the office this week for the first time in 18 months. When I walked by what was her office it kinda all hit me at once. I needed a minute.

A few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order
jimmy10 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love the defense a notch MORE. It’s just so damn fun to watch good defense just absolutely wreck what the other team is trying to do. -
Collinsworth was almost impossible to listen to.

He was insufferable last night. Halfway through Q1 I switched over to the Bills radio broadcast on CMF here in ROC. Thank god it was synced up, even a second ahead, which was better than the usual 5-10 seconds behind. -

I don’t give a flying frig when they resume, I just hope the guys stay loose and warm. Don’t need any more busted hammies. -

Two great TD drives, but so fast. we gotta give the D a rest. -
What they thought in 2017 of McD hire
jimmy10 replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in The Stadium Wall
Before I knew the William & Mary connection, when McDermott was hired I thought, well, this is how you find the next Mike Tomlin, bright young coach who, if we hit it right, could be here for decades. It was a complete 180 from the Rex hire, and I was cautiously optimistic. That he changed the culture and broke the drought his first year was a great omen. -
The website has maybe 1/10th of the inventory as the physical store, which I don’t understand. Saw a black hoodie in the store, dope as hell. Not available on the website. Nor have I ever been able to figure out how to apply the STH discount on the website. It’s a shame because I’d rather order online than buy stuff at the game then have to lug it around with me in the stadium.

Yikes. She should hire Beasley to run her socmeds. Or Beas should hire her.

He doesn’t “want” anything except clicks and publicity, and #BillsMafia obliges him week in and week out.
-
Yeah, but has he even thrown for 3̶0̶0̶ 4̶0̶0̶ 500 yards in a game yet? Mitch better stay loose.

Username checks out.

He must have another song coming out.

If he wasn’t good at footballing, he’d be the #1 LAMP poster on TBD.

It’s all in front of us. One game at a time though.

Bill Belichick. Greatest fraud in NFL history.
jimmy10 replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well of course it’s more complicated than simply Brady v Bill, nobody plays or coaches in a vacuum. And the whole book has yet to be written, but so far it looks like only one of them is able to find success without the other, that’s all I’m saying. And besides, I still firmly believe that once the right people are dead, years down the road, we’ll learn more about the depth and breadth of the cheating that went on in New England and how tainted that “dynasty” really was. But right now, for whatever reason, the Pats don’t seem to be on firm ground and that’s to be celebrated by Bills fans. The timing with our team’s track couldn’t be better. -

Except Tom went on to do Tom things without Bill. Bill hasn’t seemed to be able to do the same. I’m as surprised as anyone, I thought for sure Bill would come out on top in that divorce. He still may, but we haven’t seen it yet. -

I heard it said once that if you take away the Brady years, Belichick’s career is basically the same as Rex Ryan’s. I have yet to see evidence to the contrary. -
Mad love for Shady. After a turbulent start to the relationship, he was a great teammate and so fun to watch. My only regret is that he couldn’t be part of the greater success the last few years.
