What I’ve really wanted is to become one of those teams that is consistently competitive and makes the postseason more often than not. Three of the last four years is a good start, with a nice little run this year. I know it sounds like moral victory mewling, but screw it. I first bought season tickets in the goddamn Chan Gailey era. I am in it for the long haul and will choose to focus on the positive. For the first time in forever we have a thoroughly competent front office. Address the weaknesses in the off season and do it again next year. Go Bills.

I follow Darryl’s wife Janine Talley on Twitter, and she did mention a couple times the last few weeks how much Darryl and the guys were texting and calling each other, not just during but in between the games, strategizing, “game planning” just as excitedly as if they were still playing. There’s also a great video that Thurman’s wife Patricia tweeted. Someone caught Thurman dancing in his seat in the clubs the other night, I’ll try to find it. EDIT, found it:

Not having seen meaningful postseason football with big plays in my team’s favor literally since I was a teenager...I guess what I’m asking is, is that normal?

Agree 100%. TBD really stands out among other team boards for keeping things clean with a single game day thread. I also find the navigation is way more intuitive here.

Yes, a coworker of mine once, her husband worked for one of the companies that does the on-field graphics. It’s really neat how far the technology has come, and this Nick broadcast is a great, fun way to show it off.
