This is not me saying that CJ is the right guy to have, as he's not very successful on this current offense either.
  2. I just don't think he would be productive enough here to be worth the potential media headaches. He's never impressed me, honestly, so I don't see why we would sign him to be our 3rd/4th string guy over some no-name. And on top of not being impressed by him, I don't see any player improving with our current offense, compared to how they performed elsewhere. Though, Boobie is doing ok, so maybe I'm completely and utterly wrong.
  3. A lot of people here would love to replace Hackett... but Hackett is Marrone's boy, and Marrone is Brandon's boy. We're likely in for more of the same next year.... really hope we can get an OL in the meantime.
  4. CJ is by no means perfect, and has definitely missed lanes, but let's be real, this scheme sucks for him.
  5. I don't see Clinton exciting voters on the left or in the center, she certainly doesn't do much for me. I really like Warren's ideals, but I also liked Obama's ideals. There's a huge difference between ideal and reality though, and Obama, the President, has been a pretty big disappointment in certain areas. I think Warren would get bought out, and pushed around, just like Obama, but maybe even moreso. Warren is better for "left" politics, staying right where she is. Basically, if the "right" doesn't win the 2016 POTUS race, I'll be incredibly surprised. We could have a new "golden era" of Republican control, which should be interesting.
  6. If Baltimore could only get 3 ypc out of him, and our offense is a disaster, why would we be able to get more production out of Rice? Or are we assuming our scheme is going to change?
  7. Uh, basically everyone is pissed that Hackett/Marrone can't get the same productivity out of CJ....
  8. CJ out of the two, but I'm not sure if I want either... CJ is great in theory, but was only successful with Chan's offensive scheming, and can't seem to stay healthy.
  9. It's just too much smoke at this point for there to not be a fire. Shame, because I used to love the Cosby Show and it's wonderful social values/commentary.
  10. Unless you have questions about Brees's ability to perform at the same level playing in Buffalo, with this coaching staff/offense. Which I do. If we got the same exact production out of the offense, as the Saints have gotten during the Brees years, then hell yeah I'd do it.
  11. There shouldn't be, no... But if you fire a HC's handpicked OC, who also happens to be a friend, that could cause beef between HC and FO. Marrone supports Hackett, I just don't see how Hackett gets fired without Marrone going in some form.
  12. I have no problem with Marrone, I like his attitude and what he brings to the lockeroom. My beef is with the offense he hired or installed. And with our lack of talent/coaching on the offensive line. Bring in a new OC and an improved OL, we might be rolling, without drastic changes to HC and QB. But it's hard for a HC's OC to be fired, without a beef happening between the HC and OC, and from what I can tell, they are pretty tight. Where did I say I want to fire Marrone? The Bills are already the laughing stock of the league, so firing Marrone after 9-7 won't really effect our standing, there.
  13. The Bills are a laughing stock for missing the playoffs for 15 straight years.
  14. I'm a bit split on it. He's better than what we have, but it could also cause us to lose out on a franchise player... hm.
  15. It's *very* unlikely we beat the Patriots, but there is always a chance, and thats why the Bills need to go out and take care of business in Oakland, to give themselves that chance.
  16. It's a way to pump up the crowd, so the answer is a definite yes.
  17. I liked Frank the Tank
  18. Which is exactly what I said....
  19. I've already accepted that I'm wrong by majority of opinion. I just needed to clarify my stance because people were assuming I meant something I did not.
  20. If not for his durability, I think he would have caught on more... he showed flashes of goodness when SJ and Woods were out last year, and Hackett had him run actual routes instead of just streaking deep. Oh well.
  21. Someone who makes hard cuts playing on a turf field while it's drizzling... not too worried, not surprising at all.
  22. Probably not mutually exclusive. Being a no-nonsense sort of guy, I wouldn't be surprised if he's well liked among the guys who bought in, and the few that aren't all in, that get punished for it, not so much.
  23. At the very least there's a few players that are playing for their jobs/future contracts, so hopefully they show up to play.
