    I think it's BS. It's not like we haven't tried to address the offense, with pickups in WR and OG, and drafting WR and OL. We just mostly failed in who we picked up.

    Yeah, he's getting HC offers next season. Which blows for us. Hopefully one of our defensive coaches sticks with us instead of going with him, and we can maintain defensive success.

    Really the offense can't get much worse, can it? Hopefully our D is this good next year. I might change my opinion from "good" to "elite" pretty soon.

    We did get a little lucky, but our D also played lights out. That all combines for good things for us, nothing wrong with that. We have lost some games to bad luck, and won some games to good luck, that's very normal.

    As exciting as it is to be 8-6 and still in the hunt, I share the sentiments that missing the playoffs is a failure, even with a winning record. Still, at least it's a better failure than past failures.
