  1. Huh? Cincy would win the division with a better record in this scenario, no? 10-5-1? Leaving PIT and BAL to tiebreak, eliminating one of them, then the last WC spot would be open to another team at 10-6.
  2. They eliminate down to one team per division first in the case of multiple teams tied for the WC spot. Hence why if PIT, BAL, and BUF are tied at 10-6, the Bills would be one of two teams in. This is all if KC, SD, HOU, etc finish 9-7 or worse.
  3. See my post right above yours
  4. Nasty but in the other way
  5. I thought so too, but maybe it's only when the ball changes hands on a turnover? Not sure. I could be speaking way out of line with my above opinions. I just worry about such hits biting us in the ass.
  6. How we come out ahead in a situation which Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Buffalo are tied at 10-6, while other teams are 9-7 or below, taken from NFL.com:
  7. Nasty, definitely going with nasty.
  8. Indeed. Another thing to worry about is if it becomes a trend, the league/other teams will look for it, and we see more penalties on the Bills in important games, because refs might be instructed to look for it (either by the league or the opposing team). I'm all for having attitude, protecting our players, not backing down, being aggressive... but those sorts of things can get flagged and set us back at inopportune times.
  9. They do tiebreakers in divisions first, I believe. I show if all three of those win next week, we win out, and those three lose the following week, we make it in. So Steelers win tiebreak over Ravens, eliminating them, and the Bills are in with the other 10-6 record, with other teams finishing 9-7 or below.
  10. C'mon, that's not what I said. It's a fine line to walk, I just hope we don't get suspensions for shots like that, that's the thing I worry about.
  11. Wow, you guys are predicting some wildly high scores. I think I'm revising down to 3-2. We get a FG after intercepting a ball at their 1 yard line. They get a safety because KO can't shuffle his feet more than 3 inches.
  12. I think those moves are dirty, I don't care if it's "revenge".
  13. Found one way for the Bills to sneak in at 9-7 (according to ESPN Playoff Machine) Week 16 BUF > OAK SF > SD MIN > MIA HOU > BAL DEN > CIN KC > PIT CLE > CAR Week 17 CLE > BAL KC > SD CIN > PIT JAX > HOU NE > BUF basically... the only way the Bills make it in at 9-7 is if CLE, PIT, BAL are 9-7, and SD/HOU finishes 8-8... not gonna happen
  14. RG3 has skills, but he needs to be in the right organization with the right coaches, and I don't know if Buffalo is that place. He'd probably find success with Philly or something.
  15. Rodgers didn't have a chance at making it. Orton did. Not sure why this is even a discussion.
  16. Mario's under shirt was ripped apart on the sleeves too.
  17. Strong D vs crappy offenses? Sounds like it's going to be a 6-3 barn burner!
  18. We very much got lucky with the officials this game, but to be fair, they let GB play physical with our guys as well.
  19. Really glad we had the lenient officiating crew yesterday. Allowed us to play physical, and control their passing game.
  20. Coaches need to keep the players focused. Make sure they understand that this is a playoff game, and to not look past the Raiders.
  21. Chargers just lost their game, so that helps us a little.
  22. Whomever is left over that Schwartz doesn't take with him, I assume. But that doesn't really guarantee success, because for all we know, said person will call the same looks/coverages, but at different times.
  23. Why not? Money is better for HCs, and there's the whole ego thing.
  24. They've never done that in the past.
  25. Ok, that's pretty good too.
