On the surface, it's just more of the same for the league's most embarrassing franchise. All I can do is hope that our D stays dominant, and that we being in some talented offensive minds, and repair the OL, which allows EJ to blossom.

Best record in 10 years, and the QB and HC get run out of town.... Weird place. All we needed was a couple relatively easy improvements on offense, and instead we will be starting over again, it seems. Oh well... Life as a Bills fan. Hope Schwartz sticks around as either DC or HC, at least.

A stud offensive line (with good blocking schemes) would do so much for the offense. It'd make EJ (or whomever next year's QB is) and the running game look 10x better. I really hope that this is the number 1 priority, since the QBs available to us are all basically in that mediocre category at best.

Any playoff game, in a heartbeat. A date doesn't mean much... great, we're going to sit across from each other in silence because we have nothing to talk about. At least a playoff game is exciting.

Every year we talk about "if only we didn't do this... in a handful of games/situations... we would be in the playoffs... we're better than our record!" Every, freaking, year.

I doubt anyone who is available to us is better than EJ right now, and EJ has the most familiarity with our offense. The idea is to bring in competition, and EJ to show his superiority via familiarity and development. If he doesn't, then said vet FA pickup starts, and we stay mediocre. You're way too passionate about EJ being a failure, when the book has not been written on him yet. It's not like he's a dumpster fire.

My priorities: - Focus on the offensive line - Develop a competent running game (either the OL upgrade, new run scheme, new backs, or some combination) - Pick up a vet QB to compete with EJ during the early off/pre-season - Likely ride EJ for better or worse, hope an improved line and run game, combined with strong defense, takes pressure off him. Go into 2016 probably looking at a first round QB draft pick again.

And that's the sort of play that makes us amateurs.

Its been fun, think I'll take a break from this place for a while and concentrate on other parts of life. Hope the Bills can put it together next year.
