  1. I still think it's crazy that we had a rookie OC (a young one at that) and no QB coach his first season. Blows my mind.
  2. Brady is about as competitive as they get, and frankly I respect him for it. If he's cheating though...
  3. Maybe I'm just a fanboy, but I just don't see the Bills releasing EJ. In fact, I think he'll be in the starting QB competition, and I have faith he'll win it. Unless some blockbuster happens, there's no one available that is clearly better, and EJ has a ceiling he hasn't even touched yet being only 14 games into his professional career. I'll be drinking my Kool-Aid over here.
  4. No one would care. And Bills fans would defend them till the day they died. There is very little objectivity when it comes to sports fandom.
  5. Not a chance the Patriots take action against Belichick or Brady, they are prime money makers. And I doubt the league will do anything worse than take a couple draft picks, if they even go that far. If they suspended either, that'd hurt ratings, advertising, sales of merchandise, etc. There is no profit for the NFL to make a serious move here. The Superbowl will come and go, and people will forget about it when the Seahawks win.
  6. Who says I'm covering? They cheat. They got caught cheating. The NFL won't care in any significant manner.
  7. If you don't think other teams try to game the system, then you're incredibly naive. The Pats got "caught", and the NFL will sweep it under the rug, or give them a slap on the wrist. Life moves on.
  8. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/reminder--brad-johnson-paid-for-super-bowl-footballs-to-be-doctored-142642094.html http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/12201369/aaron-rodgers-green-bay-packers-upset-referees-take-air-footballs Just a couple articles I saw floating around today. (the Rodgers link/quotes I've seen floating around some seem to indicate that it's known that QBs seek out underinflated balls, this specific article doesn't say too much about individual games though)
  9. The NFL won't punish the Patriots for this, not with QBs coming out saying that underinflated balls are the norm, heh. But even so, if the NFL did do anything, it'd be a slap on the wrist. Not sure why there's so much drama about it.
  10. It's so frustrating because of how accurate it is. I just want to yell.
  11. Like any SofU, the President's party loves it, and the opposing party hates it. Same **** different year. The campaign + applause + "burn" was fun for all involved though, imo.
  12. That just means he impressed in interviews, which, imo, is way more important than simply being at the top of a list beforehand.
  13. Hell, lets take it further... Rodgers didn't look that great his first couple seasons during preseason and the few opportunities he got. Then there's other QBs that simply don't get better, period. The fact is, it takes a few years to truly know what you have at QB most of the time.
  14. Good for him. Hope he does well... other than when he faces us
  15. He gets an easier job while getting paid like a HC. Yes, let's all laugh at him while he spends our money :|
  16. $20k easily. I can make other memories that are more valuable with that money. If I were rich/richer, I might choose the Superbowl.
  17. That and during crunch time (two minute drills, etc) in other games. To me, the rest of the time, he seemed like a guy who was thinking too hard about whatever the coaches were drilling into him, and less about trying to make plays.
  18. Colt is the guy because he had 3 good games with Washington, and 1 crap game... even though he sucked his first few years in the league, worse than EJ. I don't understand this place.
  19. It's less about EJ/Lee, and more about EJ/Roman. I don't think EJ's problems are mechanical, but rather mental + dealing with inept coaching, play design, and protection.
  20. ....Colt McCoy? I can't see how he's an improvement over EJ...
  21. All they would have to do is say something like "No, one of the kicking balls got put into the game by mistake, and we had to swap out... etc etc"
  22. If they wanted to sweep it under the rug, we would have never heard about it.
  23. Yeah, that's what I assume too, but I'd like to see it confirmed.
  24. I think the easiest answer is because he doesn't want to coach this upcoming season. Taking a year off gives him an advantage of finding the right situation.
