  1. Hopefully he's justs visiting and moving on... not a fan of him.
  2. Taking a guess... 1 QB 2 OGs 1 RB 1 TEs 1 DT 1 CB/S Is there a write up associated with this? Edit: I'm dumb, I thought this was a static infographic.... clicking brings up the article (which has already been discussed around here)...
  3. How come when dudes post images of their one night stands, they are congratulated, and seen as heroes? But when women do it, they are insulted and called sluts?
  4. I'm optimistic that Roman and company can get production out of EJ Manuel. That's what I'm going with. Still need to find a vet FA, though, for competition/backup purposes. And if Tuel is gone, then some low round pick for practice squad duties.
  5. Hate saying it, but Brady is.
  6. Considering his age, I'm not surprised... ego/pride + aging = desperation. Still one of the greatest, regardless.
  7. They definitely don't, but sometimes you hit a homerun... just trying to think of compromises that wouldn't absolutely kill our cap space The idea of a #1 defense is really cool... but I think our priority should be maintaining the defense we have, and then improving the offense as much as possible. But, as we saw in another thread... you're more knowledgeable than I with how our predictions turned out Do you take: #4 defense + #12 offense or # 1 defense + 20 offense
  8. I wonder how good of a CB we can find with our first pick in the draft... That's the part that scares me off, really. We have some pretty big holes to fill on offense, with a fairly strong CB core already... so using half our cap space on this one player makes me pause. Again, though, like I said earlier... if we get him, I won't be complaining too much, he's a hell of a player. Just it probably wouldn't be the decision I would make.
  9. Meh, we were beating them while Brady was in.
  10. I had us at between 4 and 6 wins... happy to be wrong.
  11. I wouldn't. The talent gap between Hughes and backup, vs Revis and McKelvin is larger imo. McKelvin isn't great, but he was playing at a Pro Bowl level last year, and there's no reason why he can't continue on that path this year. Who do we have behind Hughes? Lawson? He's not that great of a pass rusher, and his motor is no where near Jerry's. Also, Hughes comes cheaper (most likely), which allows us to dedicate more money to the offense.
  12. It's important to remember these things are subjective, and our national standing and recent history very much have an impact on where we land. So 20th while finishing 9-7 is to be expected, really. If you want objective, something more analytic... you look at rankings such as: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teameff Where we finish 9th.
  13. Didn't make the playoffs, haven't made the playoffs in recent history, won't get respect until that changes.
  14. Win and we'll get respect. We go through this every year.
  15. Literally no one cares about any of that stuff outside of Buffalo. When we make the playoffs a couple times in a handful of years, we'll be relevant. That's just how it goes.
  16. Demands big money, but the return on a great CB isn't worth said money, I assume.
  17. Do you think he'll take less money to play here? Do you think we'll offer him the biggest contract? I'm thinking "no" on both of those questions, personally.
  18. Manning just has too much damage, I could see him retire this offseason or next easily. Brady on the other hand... He's got another 5 years at least. He's taken care himself in a pretty remarkable way. There's no reason he can't keep going for a bit longer.
  19. Yup, all we need is a Hall of Fame QB, the rest is in place.
  20. Government, private sector, it's incredibly difficult to get any sort of decent job with a criminal record... unless you're very wealthy. The whole idea of "jail" is supposed to be punishment and rehabilitation, but instead, we skip the rehabilitation, and also continue to punish them once they get out of jail. I suppose that's bound to happen when it's a for-profit business. It's in their best interests to keep people coming back.
  21. Basically any franchise that has a young/good QB, and an ownership that is willing to put together a good defense on the opposite side of the ball. Right now, that's basically Seattle.
  22. I'm sure part of it is just the initial emotional reaction of the Patriots being handed the game by the world's worst call, and then the subsequent blowing of their franchise by the media... and a whole new round of "The Patriot Way".
  23. I'm in super pessimist mode right now. Rex hasn't really had any success in recent years against the Pats (or anyone really). And I don't see the Patriots getting any worse next year... in fact, without Revis's contract, I think they'll pick up more players to make them even more dominant. And we all know the NFL has basically forgotten about any investigation at this point.
  24. Yay, we get to hear about how great the Patriots are until Brady and Bellichick are gone. Really tired of this dynasty. I'm sure I'm just bitter and jealous... but man I hate the Patriots.
