  1. You do remember what team this is, right? We probably outsmarted ourselves, like usual.
  2. Another thing, I think that is underestimated, he meshes well in the locker room, and is a great emotional leader. You wanna have guys like that to keep the pressure on throughout a game. Get'er dun, Doug!
  3. It's interesting... the people that get it right definitely hold the ball with more authority like they've actually played a game of football... the rest of the people are barely squeezing the thing.
  4. NFL confirms it's gonna penalize the team 15 yards for mismanaged balls on Seattle's side http://deadspin.com/profootballtalk-seahawks-to-be-penalized-yardage-for-l-1681591982
  5. That's the key isn't it? If Roman gets him space like Gailey did, then keep CJ, most definitely. If Roman runs CJ up the gut in power formations like Marrone did, then we need to let him sign elsewhere. It's all dependent on the system Roman wants to run. That was the major difference imo... we ran CJ out of spread/3+ WR formations under Gailey, whereas Marrone used a lot of two TE sets, bringing more defensive players into the box.
  6. Positional depth is also the mark of a good team.
  7. I'd love to keep Spikes, but he'll have to be cheap, since he would only be in for running situations. It's always good to have depth. Kiko, Brown, Bradham, Spikes + Mario/Hughes? I'll take it.
  8. Because the Colts cheated, duh.
  9. So the atmosphere effected the Patriots' footballs, but not the Colts. Got it.
  10. Kinda throwing Brady under the bus again... a little...
  11. Patriots: "We found the culprit and fired him, we're sorry" NFL: "No problem, you guys can win the Superbowl now"
  12. It's amazing how quickly the NFL and fans give up on young QBs.
  13. Luckily black bears are relatively chill animals hah.
  14. I hope Chris Williams retires, that dude is horrible.
  15. I know it's easier said than done, but I'd really like to see some of our defense spending get funneled into infrastructure, public works, education, healthcare, etc. We really need to strengthen the "core" of our nation.
  16. The precedent for a team cheating seems to be picks and a fine, so this "should" follow. And since this is the second time with their current group, you'd think it'd be more severe. That being said, I have a feeling the NFL will find a scapegoat and the Pats will get away with it. It's easier to find a scapegoat for this, than with the videotaping.
  17. http://news.nationalpost.com/2015/01/22/colorado-baker-accused-of-discrimination-for-refusing-to-write-anti-gay-message-on-bible-shaped-cake/ Bakery shop refuses to put in cake order that has anti gay themes, and is now suing the bakery for discrimination. What say you, PPP?
  18. Ditto, especially with how picky QBs are per multiple stories over the years. No way someone like Brady is just like LOL ITS A BALL
  19. Ok, so let's give benefit of the doubt... Coach didn't know. QB didn't know. None of the Patriots noticed. Have they just always been playing with softer balls because someone up in the FO has been feeding them to the team? There's really no logical way out of this at this point. The NFL is gonna have to do something. I still think they'll try to get the Seahawks to win, and the penalty will be light, and the story will be swept away as best as possible.
  20. Considering how picky QBs are with the ball, you'd think he would have noticed during the game if it was someone else's fault.
  21. Kane... basically around for a long time to job for other teams.
  22. Awesome news, may many years be ahead of him
  23. In every single sport, the stars get preferential treatment.
