If for whatever reason he refuses to suit up for us, you trade him for whatever you can get. If he happens to get us a first and a fourth, then awesome. But I highly doubt anyone will offer us more than just a fourth.

Oh, yeah, McCoy would be stupid to pass up the guaranteed money extension, and if he does, no loss for us. Good on Doug for pulling this off if it goes through. Every time I go to another team's fan forum, I get a new appreciation for the folks who run, maintain, and organize this place.

I have a feeling it's going to depend on need, and who's healthy. Brown is more like McCoy in how he runs, imo... while FredEx and Boobie are more the bruiser/tough yard guys, especially since Fred has been focusing on strength the last couple of seasons.

I think it's even... not on players, but net benefit. Philly unloaded a cap hit that it didn't really want to deal with anymore considering their roster and future plans, and also got a promising young LB to help their defensive aspirations. Bills got a big time play maker who is more dependable than the one who just exited (CJ). Win/Win... which is probably why the trade was made.

I'm assuming a QB would be one of the $4-5m guys, no? Unless we clear space, I doubt we can re-sign Hughes, and pick up Sanchez (assuming he's the highest paid of the group)
