  1. Saw a blurb on ESPN that Cassel might be extended, and the numbers be massaged around to lessen his cap hit this year.
  2. Could you by chance update the OP, every once in a while, as you go on, Yolo? Or is that annoying to ask?
  3. So we're basically going to be running 50 times a game, and passing 10 times?
  4. Kills me every time a thread says "resign" instead of "re-sign".
  5. At the same time, if Miami waits that long to make a decision, they also screw themselves in their own search for a replacement.
  6. I'm pretty sure we're signing everyone at this point.
  7. Wood is solid, not great.... I think a lot of our success will depend on scheme, though.
  8. This thread was longer, 30 pages.... then it became 29 pages.... then people posted and it hit 30 pages again.... and then back to 29 pages.
  9. There's posts missing in this thread all of a sudden.... the mystery deepens.
  10. The Bills with Chan, Fitz, CJ, and SJ13 finished 6-10 with terrible defenses... I have to assume the Jets will have a decent defense still... I'm not gonna sleep on the Jets this season with those roster moves. Combine that with the Dolphins getting Suh and Tannehill further improving, the AFC East could be a tough as nails division this year!
  11. Sadly.... I kinda wish for somewhere in between one extreme and the other at this point (not really, I think we're heading in the right direction, but some of these rumors and threads are stressful!)
  12. This offseason sure hasn't been boring so far, jesus... Orton retires Marrone quits Rex is hired Shady trade Cassel trade Hughes re-signed We're linked to multiple quality FAs And now FredEx drama I'm going to age 15 years before September
  13. Clay, one of the better OGs, if there's a mid level swing OL available... then hopefully have some left over to carry into next year, and on to the draft we go. A good LB if available, and a Safety in the draft, if we pick up a TE and a couple OL in FA.
  14. Considering how often RBs get banged up... having three guys with starter level skills is an asset, imo. Edit: From a financial standpoint, it still makes sense to cut FredEx, but I'd really rather keep him.
  15. He's good, but not worth killing the rest of our cap over at this point. We need to shore up the OL and TE positions.
  16. Shady + FredEx + Brown + Boobie I like this combo more than anything including Powell.
  17. Indeed, good points
  18. $12,764,067 including estimated draft costs.
  19. He can, but he really doesn't... it seems. He likes to bounce outside more than CJ from what I can tell.
  20. Sure, but I'll take a great defense and a crap offense, that gets us to 9-7, over a bad defense and a mediocre offense that gets us to 6-10. Also, not sure what Orton did to win the Bears game.
  21. That gif gives me the warm fuzzies.
  22. He's making two paychecks this year, lives in Florida, and his new job has basically no pressure. For him, personally, it might be the best thing to ever happen to him. I'm glad he's gone, though.
  23. Definitely should be a competition in camp. If they perform in similar fashions, I'll give the edge to EJ to see how he develops over the year, so we know what we need to do next offseason in regards to QB.
  24. We're already paying him $8m this year, the cap is going up, I think we'll be in good shape to pay the man
