  1. Because some people are agnostic.
  2. If honesty means lacking guts, then I lack guts. I have not a clue what EJ will become down the line, I think he's shown promise at times, and I also think he has faults. I don't think his career is written in stone. I lack guts. I deleted my vote because it didn't match exactly what they were looking for, I'm a team player.
  3. "Do you believe that EJ will be a franchise QB?" Key word is "will", not "likely"
  4. Would like a mod/admin to add a "maybe/unsure either way" option to the poll, heh.
  5. EJ had a couple terrible games, a couple good games, and a lot of mediocre games. I don't see how that shows anything other than "developing QB". I think I need to back out of these threads, I'm clearly in the wrong by way of majority... hopefully McCown or whomever gets us where we need.
  6. The question isn't if he could, it's if he will be. You should delete your vote unless you are absolutely sure he will be, or won't be a franchise QB.
  7. I'll delete my vote, my apologies.
  8. I think it's too early to make a solid yes or no, and that he needs more opportunity to show. The majority of QBs take 2-3 seasons to hit their stride, hell some of them take 5+.
  9. Who stunk it up for two years, and got a chance for a third year, and improved. Nutty.
  10. I think I don't know, because it's too early to make that decision, so I voted "yes", because I think he has a chance.
  11. Below 50%, but then again, that goes for almost every QB drafted ever, because the chances are slim to develop into a qualtity NFL starter, otherwise there wouldn't be such a talent drought at the position across the league.
  12. Again, this poll misrepresents positions held by "EJ Supporters". My answer to the Poll Question would be "He has a chance to, sure. But he also might not. I support letting him develop for another season to find out."
  13. You're misunderstanding what "supporters" feel with a poll like that. Most of "us" feel that EJ has a chance to develop into a quality starting QB. That is significantly different than saying he will.
  14. Also, "tomorrow AM" has passed, so at least one part of his post is untrue, unless they simply haven't released the news yet.
  15. Someone mentioned that his "Imo" at the end of his posts is "LMO" Copying and pasting his text into other programs shows that it is in fact "IMO/imo" (eye em oh)
  16. Surprised no local media has jumped on this yet.
  17. If he was a 3rd round pick we'd be plesently surprised with what he's shown so far, and optimistic about his future development.
  18. Week 1 can't get here soon enough. This offseason is stressing me out already.
  19. Was just about to say the same...
  20. Sending a message would make sense if EJ was trouble behind the scenes, but otherwise... it's a head scratcher.
  21. Again, what does it cost to take him into training camp/preseason then, to see who wins out?
  22. Yeah, if the Bills had something lined up to get a top 10 QB, I could see it... MAYBE... but again, why wouldn't we keep him as backup? Why spend money on McCown AND dead money cutting EJ?
