It really is quite comfortable to be nice and numb on the season. I enjoy the games, and if we are anywhere near .500 going into the last month I treat that like the superbowl. When the final day of us being eliminated rolls around it's no sweat off my back and I'm happy to have been entertained past Thanksgiving. Go Bills baby! May the new HC keep us playing PAST THANKSGIVING!!! WOOO!

I think our defense could really bounce back for the same reason. If our run game can repeat we will win 8 games. I'm usually a huge downer...but I believe this year we ... just ... might ... go .500 again. Looking forward to this season. The big thing is the schedule...it sucks. If we go 7 wins we'll have had a good season...we really need to sweep the Jets and Phins....beyond that Colts, Bucs, and Saints at home get us to 7 and then we're looking @Chargers and @Chiefs to get to 9 and a possible wildcard birth. Falter somewhere and we need to win v.DEN(possible but tough), @ATL (no way), @Cinci (not likely), or home v.Raiders (not likely). Long story short, tough schedule but so it goes for us every year with a locked in 2 loses to the Pats. Really need to roll the 'phins and Jets and need to beat all the average teams at home. Do that and grab 2 more along the way and we'll be the best we've been in 20 years. Get hurt at QB, RB1, WR1 (almost certain), or on the DL and we **** the bed again. No room for error. We are either a bad ass front 7 with opportunistic secondary that benefits from good run stopping/pressure along with a run game and flash and pass passing game + Tyrod scramble ... or a ****ty team. TLDR: Next year we are either what Rex should have been or we suck again. Defense and run game.

Nobody is denying that Sammy was worth a 1st round pick. We gave another on top of that. What the hell are you talking about?

It would be nice to have 11 players on the field for critical plays. To not see guys running on the field at the last moment. To not challenge ridiculous plays. To not have Dareus drop into zone. To not waste timeouts because we are not organized. To not give incoherent explanations when asked if there is a particular person responsible for a given bit of hilarious dysfunction. To not explain that Brady passing is cheating. And generally, to just appear somewhat professional whether we win or lose.

I would trade him away if someone offered a 1st and 3rd. Nobody will do that. He stays.

In a lot of ways I see this issue as not so different than education, healthcare, and a lot of other issues where costs are skyrocketing. The argument for some public assistance is ok until you see the bill. It's just too damn expensive that's the problem. ~2B is insane. Kick in ... say ... $300B total including land and some infrastructure...fine. Kick in almost $1B? Insane. And of course, the stadium wouldn't be $2B if the public funny money was not there. We can help pay for stadiums every now and then, it's ok. We should not go into 30 years of public debt to build lavish temples to the football gods.

I like this pick a lot. I love that we finally have a QB on the roster that is known for distributing the ball quickly, accurately, and in tight spots. His arm can get stronger and he showed some mobility. Also seems to be a gamer. Seems like a great pick.

ESPN guys absolutely love Peterman...they are gushing you would think Peterman is the greatest QB in the whole draft.

Pick it up. If we lose Sammy after sinking all this time/money/picks into him it would be a trajedy. He is a great player and will be great one day...it sucks he hasn't been for us but it would suck worse to have it happen only once he's gone.

He's had a million chances, but you have to believe there will come a point where the dude gets it together. At least, you should want to believe that as a reasonably good person. If he wasn't serious about turning it around and staying straight for long enough to make a living then he would have pissed off into nowhereland already (the way Justin Blackmon did).
