  1. Here are the answers: Seed Team Record Most Damaging Loss Opponent (Rec) Primary Consequence 1 Denver Broncos 11-2 Week 3 Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) Surrendered H2H leverage to a potential Divisional Round opponent and blemished an otherwise perfect AFC resume. 2 New England Patriots 11-2 Week 1 Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) A catastrophic "Common Opponent" failure that currently hands the No. 1 seed tiebreaker to Denver. 3 Jacksonville Jaguars 9-4 Week 10 Houston Texans (8-5) Nullified a potential season sweep, splitting the H2H tiebreaker and keeping the division race a toss-up. 4 Pittsburgh Steelers 7-6 Week 7 Cincinnati Bengals (4-9) A division loss to a non-playoff team that severely weakens their hold on the AFC North against Baltimore. 5 Los Angeles Chargers 9-4 Week 7 Indianapolis Colts (8-5) Handed a direct H2H tiebreaker advantage to the primary team chasing them for a Wild Card spot. 6 Buffalo Bills 9-4 Week 5 New England Patriots (11-2) Effectively destroyed realistic hopes of winning the AFC East, locking them into the Wild Card road path. 7 Houston Texans 8-5 Week 3 Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4) The root cause of their current deficit in the AFC South; a win here would have them leading the division today.
  2. Whatever loss each team had to their closest division competitor, or conference competitor, or just conference loss….depending on the situation. Not trying to be an ass, but there is actually and answer to this for every team that is objectively correct and you just look at their place in the standings and schedule to determine it, it isn’t very hard to do and therefore this just isn’t a very interesting question for discussion. Obviously the Pats for the Bills. Each other team has a fairly obvious answer for themselves as well.
  3. IDK if Harbaugh is to blame. I know I’m late to the party but just sort read the comprehensive story of what happened and that’s a pretty spectacular flame out. I do feel sorry for him, he is responsible for his actions obviously, but this is tough to watch happen to anyone IMO.
  4. Patriots pull Houston as 2v7 jaguars pull chargers 3v6 steers get bills 4v5 It’s very possible if that happens all road teams win which would give us chargers at home to play the winner of Houston/Denver. That gives us a serious shot at a home game and ensures we just have to play only one of Denver/Houston (probably our worst matchups). Interesting draw, if that holds. I’d rather do that than win the division and host Houston.
  5. Good throw but let’s not get ridiculous on all time throws here
  6. I think you have to build that way if the goal is the superbowl. It takes that to win multiple games against good teams and QBs at the end. But, making the other team stay patient, not make a mistake, and march down the field is a tactic that works in the league. You can make the playoffs that way. Regardless, I don’t know that Houston has a particularly aggressive scheme, they just get pressure from the front 4. They play man, which you should do if you get pressure like that, it’s more so they’re just aggressively good as opposed to an aggressive scheme.
  7. All this procedural talk is off topic, gentleman. 😐
  8. Put the flags away for a bit, let them play
  9. Chiefs getting playoff flags early this year
  10. Dude just needed to get his cramping hand x-rayed. Makes sense
  11. Today was the Bengals you do what you can if your this current roster. They did enough today! In general, it’s very often this team is a tale of two halves. It’s a problem. A HUGE part of why we aren’t good is that we always seem to start slow. According to AI just now, this year, the Bills rank 27th in points allowed in the first quarter (one of the worst in the league). They rank 5th in the next 3 quarters combined (one of the best in the league). There is a serious issue with defensive coaching on the first 3 to 4 drives in almost every game.
  12. A guy is just “coming off concussion,” slammed his head multiple times hard, stays on ground a long time, and literally points at his head! The “independent doctors” aren’t pulling guys. Plain and simple.
  13. Defense needs to make a play.
  14. Who cares about season yards. 1. We got lucky against a then-good Baltimore team after being dominated. 2. We pounded a pathetic Jets team. 3. We pulled away at the end after a pretty even game against the bad Dolphins. 4. We beat a horrible Saints team, not that badly. 5. Pats took our crown while @Buf 6. Demolished by the Falcons, who suck. Could have been far worse loss. Still bad loss. 7. Destroyed the not so good Panthers. They’re up and down, they didn’t have it that day. That was a bad team that day. We just ran a toss play. 8. Beat the Chiefs. Not your fathers Chiefs. 9. Got crushed by the horrible Dolphins. Embarrassing. 10. Good win at home against the Bucs. Gave up over 30 points though, to a team with best weapons out hurt. 11. Utterly destroyed by Texas. Score is misleading. 12. Gave the death blow to an already dying Steelers team that may be the worst team in the league right now. Our best win remains week 1 fluke to come back and beat the Ravens when they gave us the ball back at the end. They were good then, but their defense still sucked. I guess the Bucs win was ok but man did the defense suck. That’s about it. Those are our noteworthy accomplishments, a fluke comeback in week 1 and a shootout at home against a very injured Bucs team. In between, we had some games we won and lost, quite a few very bad losses. Don’t tell me about yards. Tell me we’ve had our asses kicked several times and had very few (perhaps none) truly impressive wins. Go Bills! Let’s get hot and win the SB the year we suck somehow!
  15. lol…no…there’s no moms packed lunches at nfl football are you 100 years old?
  16. Except look at what the first place schedule is shaping up to look like
  17. I hear your point and know what you mean about Brady, but let’s be honest the issue is both.
  18. I mean, let’s say after half in the 3rd quarter for a few drives, you don’t think Anderson could be as good for us in the run game for 2 possessions as a one-armed Spencer Brown? He takes bit to regroup for a the last 2/3 series in the 4th?
  19. Can you go to the back up tackles for a drive? I know the answer is likely “no, we would never do that.” But those guys looked like some big, mean, fresh bodies. We are going to have to run to win, every edge seems necessary in the run game. We rotate guys almost every play on the DLine. It’s been a long season, Dawkins and Brown are banged up, they’ll both be available asap but a lightened load seems like a good idea at least for a while? Just seemed like our depth at Oline showed itself as a good thing we have, wish we could use it strategically and not just when necessary.
  20. Honestly I’d love to just run toss or duo or both 5 million times and man handle them in NE. When it comes to 2 weeks from now, I want to win running the same play over and over. I want to just go block their asses up and down the field and run over their silly assumption they can do anything this time of year. Whatever comes of the records, the division, the seeds…we can take their soul in two weeks. In a way that lasts through the playoffs even if they hold on to the division. Attn Pats fans: Your soul is mine PS: probably need to pass against Joe and Cinci so ok with a win their regardless of soul taking
  21. Josh obviously ***** talks and knees and acts and all of it. That dude is dumb
  22. QB has a broken leg. They’re done
