is two deep the blueprint on how to beat the Bills?
dayman replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
The answer is break tackles so they can’t let you get the short stuff. We do not break tackles. Never have. Maybe never will. Not sure why. -
Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?
dayman replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
From the moment we opened the 2020 season and destroyed the Jets, I have expected us to air raid everyone all the time and reserve the right to complain in any moment where we didn’t put up a gazillion points in the immediate prior game. -
Go to Ben Shapiro’s X account and watch his hour long video. It’s tough to watch but, even though I knew it was outright barbarianism, it still changed my view on what happened and the entire Palestine issue after watching. That entire society is incapable of self-governance and needs to be dismantled and occupied/policed indefinitely. Not the kind of thing to say in polite company pre-invasion, but I hope even the most leftist people that hate Israel’s various dubious policies/actions forever acknowledge that moving forward.

Doesn’t matter

The last two weeks were devastating and we are officially worse (somehow) on this than last year now. All we can say is we still have Josh and Diggs, and pretty much everyone on offense. So we can still win games. But the defense will be a week to week hang on effort now instead of a real strength.

He’s not the most exciting and talented qb today, he’s the most exciting and talented qb ever. It’s also more widely acknowledged than you would think already, even among pundits. If we stay healthy we could potentially blow people out in the playoffs, were that good. If he can get a SB this year he will be elevated by all (obviously).

It’s been an insane run and we need a Super Bowl to cement it as a great team.

This game is a McD game. If he can hold them to less than 24 points it will be a masterful display and we should win.

A business where you get fired if you don’t win the Super Bowl. Especially when you have Allen as QB. Do it. It’s good for business -
I love the reps where they work against the unpadded coaches. Laziest waste of time possible.

Top 3 things I hope to see for a great Bills win
dayman replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn’t realize I had to explicitly spell out that these are 3 things I hope to see in order for us to win, which is, of course, done by scoring more points. Moving forward, I’ll try to be more specific for the benefit of our (surprisingly numerous) cognition-impaired community members. It’s worth the extra few seconds and added word count if that’s what necessary to discuss football here beyond “we hope we win.” -
As an initial aside, Josh playing well, establishing himself as a constant run threat, and most of all, taking care of the football, is a given. 1. Young guns up front fire. In particular, Rousseau and Oliver. These guys need to step up big time. They’ll try to get it out quick to mitigate line problems but that won’t fly if we score early and start to threaten a big lead as the game goes on. These guys are high picks and they aren’t babies anymore. Time to sack a good QB in a big game that matters. 2. Dorsey has a great game, primarily measured by whether our offensive “piece players” all contribute. A big 3rd down or TD for Beasley. A bomb to Smoke. Big return from Hines (not Dorsey, I know). Explosive chunk plays from Cook and Shakir. We spread it around and play design and timing helps everyone become a problem for the Bengals defense. 3. Marlowe plays mistake-free, and creates havoc close to the line in run support and by crashing in on short routes to make good tackles before the 1st down line. I think he has shown he can do it (better than Hamlin before he went out).

Game time. Diggs been thinking about this a while. -
Agree but I wouldn't compared them. Rousseau is unstoppable nobody can get a hold of him with his long arms and he's fast too not just on rush but making tackles wide. Rousseau going to end up getting paid in 3 years big time he's the best player in our front 7 IMO right now already

Inspector Rousseau was all over the place causing havoc again today. He's going to be an amazing player

What I did and didn't like vs Steelers
dayman replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the one saving grace. Our defense played well and yet Daboll went 5 wide all day and let the best pass rush in football tee off on our guys. Hopefully he can do better. However, the bad part is at times that pressure was with 3 guys. In which case there is nothing Daboll can do.
