  1. The economic collapse in the 1970s and 1980s lead to a migration to other states for employment for many. I have ran into many econ exiles in central Indiana. Florida makes sense with retirees heading to warm climes to enjoy their last years.
  2. The author does not know the area. He says that stadiums are bad neighbors and creates little incentive to invest in surrounding neighborhoods. In the next paragraph he complains that the stadium is isolated That isolation kept the costs down. The downtown stadium would have increased the cost to a level no one could support.
  3. Watkins is talented but injury prone. Another team will see him play a partial season.
  4. His death is a shock and a tragedy to his family, friends and team mates. My condolences to them.
  5. Pound the table all you want. You do not get a say in the matter. I would like to look back at all the guys people on TBD have pounded the table in prior drafts and see if those players panned out, Trust Beane and his staff.
  6. I think there will be a run on Edge rushers and WRs in the first round. Top 2 CBs will be off the board but the 3-5 will be available.
  7. Been a fan since 1965. Love the team even in those bleak years.
  8. Landry is asking for WR1 money when he is not one. He should be happy with a 8 million dollar contract.
  9. I liked him because of his size and arm strength. Darnold, Mayfield and Rosen were lacking in my view. Jackson was my second QB. First time in a long time that I was correct on the best QB in the draft.
  10. It is a fun way to pass the off season down time and can generate spirited conversations.
  11. He is not going any where.
  12. Draft to fill both holes and to the future. In order draft: CB, WR, LB, OG, RB, QB and last three on players who can be special team types
  13. My money is that he goes to his home town Atlanta. Trade to the Colts would make sense.
  14. Very deep draft this year. No trading up. Trading back is a possibility to garner extra picks.
  15. Foregone conclusion that he would be released. They gave him an opportunity to seek a trade but no one was buying. He is effective WR and can help a team. There is a slim chance that he comes back. I wish him good luck.
  16. Bad hamstring has hampered his play. Time to retire.
  17. They see a name and come up with a trade or FA signing. The game is more complicated. Metcalf might want to be a WR1. Then you get drama. Draft a WR3.
  18. Side with your wife and suffer. True love! HAHAHA
  19. I have been a victim of being in a car ride with an lactose intolerant person. Spent most of the ride with my face buried in my shirt. EGADS!!! Never stop for ice cream again.
  20. Feliciano was a great guy and character but below average. Beane and McD will be rebuilding both lines int his off season. Looking forward to the first phase which is FA period.
  21. Harrison is hitting his stride and in his prime. Resign him. The trouble with not keeping your FA, ones that are productive, is that you will have to spend draft picks or sign a FA (at a more friendly contract). Neither guarantee the team will be better. Only way you let a UFA walk is if you have their replacement on the team and they are ready to step up. Not the case with the Bills.
  22. Walking away from $10 million. I can not fathom that. Injuries? Okay but my perspective is jaded.
  23. Yes they do. I have met a several a few years back when I worked that district. Young guys do sneak out and try to enjoy themselves. Not much drinking but trying to find a young ladies.
  24. The Market District, where the combine is, is a big party location. Multiple bars that are very popular. NFL does not want the young men to go out and meet the local heathens? Let them have a good time. The combine is located in the Market District. Plenty of popular bars and they want these young men away from them. IMO
