Honestly, if they could play any kind of defense I’d try to get UPL to the Amerks. He’s young (as far as goalies go), he has shown flashes of ability. He was rookie of the month earlier this season. Might just need some more time?

I’m a lefty for everything except shooting a gun. My dad got me a left handed bow which was cool. When we were kids the stocks and bolt actions on our rifles were “normal” so I shot righty. Expert marksman in the military so I guess I did okay.

Once in a while we go to SPAC and sit outside the gates in the state park. You can’t see the stage but the sound is good and you bring whatever stuff you want in a cooler (like Tanglewood) You’re also by the tour busses and once in a while the artists stop out and say hi. $100+ for lawn seats is stupid.

As Edwards and Bates both have some experience at center, is there a chance that Morse has had enough concussions and walks away? He’s been dinged up a few times over the last couple of seasons. I realize that Edwards had a concussion last season but don’t think he’s had multiple like Morse. Now we’ve got two bigger, younger players to possibly step up.

Not vegan or vegetarian, just getting older. I’ve found that as I age my diet changes. I eat more vegetables, less meat, alcohol and baked treats in moderation. Almost no processed stuff (but I buy Sahlen’s every time I’m in Buffalo), I make most everything from scratch. STAY ACTIVE, figure out what makes you feel better and stick with it…

I don’t drive anything fancy but I try to take care of it. I’ve used “Nu Finish” soft paste in the orange can for years. Wax it before winter and when things warm up in the spring. Easy on/off and it seems to protect the finish well. My car is a 2015 and looks like new.

Starting this year, anything over $600 (total) paid through PayPal or Venmo will be reported to the IRS as income. Folks use Craigslist and Marketplace for untrackable cash sales. Up till now it’s been $20,000 or 200 transactions. Just dropped it to $600 this year. Apparently they’re not collecting enough in taxes…

As far as “dismantling”… With EB going to Washington as their new OC, I expect no changes to the offense whatsoever. Does anyone (Zero) know if he actually did anything or was it all Reid? By taking the new job he will have the opportunity to show what he can do. Probably just brings Reid’s playbook to the WFT.

On both of those second half touchdowns where guys were wide open, the defense over compensated for Kelsey. Instead of switching assignments they both watched “the guy that’s always open”. Same play both times (different sides).

Extended Warranties - Worthwhile, Worthless or Worth Considering?
f0neguy replied to SinceThe70s's topic in Off the Wall
Bought a dehumidifier on Amazon a few years ago and the reviews said they died after two years or so. Got the three year extended for $40-50 bucks. (Print and save the paperwork). Unit died, filed a claim and had an Amazon gift card in amount of purchase emailed to me immediately. Bought another one with extended warranty 👍. -
Titans are switching their field from grass to turf
f0neguy replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills have stated they’re going to install natural grass in their new stadium. Just asking here…. If the field is heated, is growing and maintaining a quality field throughout the season a realistic expectation? And if that can be done, why wouldn’t the Titans just heat their place? -
When was the last time we actually saw meaningful games in February? We have a chance to get a WC spot to break the 10-11 year embarrassment. Don’t even care if we get smoked in the first round. Let the kids really feel playoff intensity, they’ll be better for it.

Dorcey’s play calling seemed clunky at times but overall the numbers were a bit better than we saw with Dabol. On the occasions where McDermott took over the defensive calls, the team appeared to be more aggressive, so I don’t think it’s schematic. I just think Frazier is too conservative. I believe the team is hoping he gets a HC shot because they don’t want to fire him. Maybe he retires?
-
Couple of opinions in no particular order…. (Kinda long) Right now, Tre doesn’t have the speed or burst we’re used to seeing. With the surgery he had they’re back in a year but really back in two. He’ll be fine next season. A few times in the past Sean has taken over defense calls and the team is much more aggressive. I think they’re hoping Leslie gets a HC shot. If he doesn’t maybe he’ll retire? But I believe his time is done. Earlier this season we saw the defense without Tremaine and it was bad. I think they have to keep him. Poyer and Hyde… One goes, one stays. Think we’ll keep Hyde. I’m sure there’s more but that’ll do for now. I really wasn’t too upset after the game yesterday. If we had lost a close game there wouldn’t have been any changes but after that debacle something has to happen 👍

Another Kevin Spacey movie with a great ending is American Beauty. You think everything has worked itself out, you’re wrong.
-
The ending of the original Blade Runner is probably my favorite. Rutger Hauer’s soliloquy before he releases the dove is brilliant.

It’s never easy….

Folks keep mentioning that the Bengals big three receivers missed about 250 snaps during the season. Fine, somebody else took those snaps. Receiving stats for both teams in total are close. Miami is putting up bigger numbers and we held them in check. I think overall the Bills are a better team, they’re relatively healthy. I’m looking forward to a good game.

Josh McDaniels doesn’t rule out benching Derek Carr
f0neguy replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, if Adams wants to go to a team that’s building something with a stable QB situation I can think of a team. -
If Mitch decides to walk away I wish him the absolute best. I also think Rick (Ryan) or Ike will step in at center and will play very well. Not worried!
-
I believe I read somewhere that Mitch has a specialist he sees concerning his concussions. He seems to be very intelligent and he understands the risks involved. He knows he’s set for life financially. I won’t be surprised if he walks after this season.

Grew up in the 60’s in a really small town in the Southern Tier. Everyone knew everyone. There was a group of six of us who did everything together. We’re all in our 60’s now and we get together for a weekend every three years or so. Last summer we had 20 folks or so (original six, siblings, and some spouses). Amazingly enough, knock on wood, we’re all still kicking.

I realize he showed no symptoms. With his history, I would hope the independent spotter would check regardless. He had a serious injury earlier this season. He bounced his head off of a lightly padded concrete floor. The shield (and NFLPA) preach their concern over concussions. He should have been checked.
-
We, the fans of the game, have been told that there are independent spotters looking for possible concussions during the game. If any player (Tua) has a history of head injuries, and bounces their head off of the turf, I would think they would be examined the first time they came off of the field, symptoms or not. Obviously, I’m wrong but that would make sense to me…
