I'm with you i hope he can stay healthy it looked as if he was going to be a good pick up as far as depth until the toe thing came up which i never heard of a toe injury putting a guy on IR but it is what it is !!

Actually it's Bills fans issue they don't even want to give the guy a chance & he hasn't even thrown a ball in a Bills Uni yet !! I can't wait to see how many jump on the band wagon

I think with that line up & the possibility of a FA or a UDFA showing in the mini camp the depth along the line & line play (as long as the O line coach is as good as they say he is) shouldn't be as big of a problem as every one thinks !!

I really like the pairing & what they have done to this point but the proof will come in how many wins they have & if they can sustain playoff appearances . That being said even if they do keep us in play offs consecutive yrs the fan base will run them out of town if they don't win the big one which most teams do !!

I'm a bit old school i think it would do him good to sit for a while maybe even a yr to get his NFL feet under him like they use to do . Aaron Rogers & many others have benefitted by sitting & watching how it's done , or how it's not done which Bills fans have a lot of skepticism when it comes to AJ but i think he has benefited him self & will prove worthy of the get . But in the world of the Bills fan he will never be good enough even if he does well & there will be those who will rail against him in any & all situations because they are Bills fans !! As it will be for Allen too !! GO BILLS !!

Hopefully to play better than he has & become a bigger part of the D this year to help the process !!

Mel Kiper football expert also said Cordy Glenn wouldn't be a starting LT & was better at RT i don't think the numbers have a lot to do with anything it's just another talking point for TV & blog sights ... I think coaching has a lot more to do with it than numbers !!

More from the "experts" side of things i wonder what Kelly, Marino, & Elways were back then that had nothing to do with nothing it's all about reading defenses & yes you need zip but if you can anticipate a WR coming open i would think that has a lot more to do with it !! Every body now is into the analytics of the game at any position !!

I wish the Bills could talk him out of retirement to be Allens QB coach the guy has a ton of knowledge & has worked with a bunch of great QB's !!

As they should have ! The kid has a lot to work with & can improve in the places he lacks in so why wasn't he considered i think he will eventually make a good NFL starter !!

No one knows what the QB situation will be or how it will turn out this is the same situation as it was back when Flutie was on the team i just hope the out come is better than it was back then . I'll put my faith behind those in power at One Bills Drive now more so than i will a expert Bills fan any day !! Just saying ... Why would that suck ?? If the Bills got a really good starting QB for $10 Mill for 2 yrs & he takes them deep into the play offs that would be a great thing !! Where is the down side ??

I've heard seeing as i no longer live in the Buffalo area that a lot of people didn't like the pick of Allen & i am skeptical but i hope all the negativity drives the kid to prove all the nay sayers wrong ! I believe in McBean & hope they saw something that the expertise of this fan base & sports talk show hosts didn't or can't see & uses that as a huge amount of motivation . The best way he can make a name for himself is have them all jump on the wagon he is pulling which is far from full at the moment ...

I'm hoping that was a big reason for his bad rookie yr coming out of college they said he was one of the better WR's so i hope he makes a huge jump from last yr & i think AJ will be a big help in that regard !!

Of the 3 i think Miller should be given a chance to compete with out the deal of being a Ryan/Whaley left over hanging over his head I think he did well before the new guys took over & with what was said last year about Ducasse &the RG he should have & could have played quite possibly better than either of those guys . With Ritchie & E.Wood gone they need to keep some of those guys like Miller around for depth.

Welcome to the Bills Fan base where you can't & never will please them all & they all know better than the experts !! With that being said i didn't want Allen but i am putting my faith in the experience of McBean & company because of the fact that THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THIS PROFESSIONALLY FOR 20 + YEARS & i am just a fan ! Sure i have my opinions but this regime seems as though they have a plan in place & so far it has worked out to be a pretty good one & the GM this time around is building a team the way he sees fit & isn't just banking on the coaches sight alone like our previous GM which was his demise !! SO Bills fans will continue to be Bills fans & not like much of any thing that comes along but it hasn't changed in a long time so we will all just have to deal with it i guess ... As he should be the guy turned down a multi year contract because "He thought he's worth more than that" He's a diva & he's looking for the big 1 yr paycheck & is another "It's all about me" NFL player so why would he want some one like that on our team I Don't !!

Every Bills fan has their own opinion (YAH THINK) & Mcbean & company isn't going to make every one happy no matter what they do but i believe that they have a plan in place & they know football a lot better than any of us or we would be employed by a NFL team but were not so what does that say ?? I also believe that they will do better by these rookie players than other coaches that we have had in the past & what ever they do it will be done from an eye of experience learned over a career of years of learning from others with NFL experiences that were passed down to them ... Billieve in the process GO BILLS !!

There is one big difference AJ reads the D much better & faster than Tyrod so with that being said AJ being more accurate between the hash marks in the middle of the field along with making the decision with his anticipation of a WR or TE coming open will have & has proven to have a higher completion percentage . Tyrod took a lot more sacks & had to run more because he was slower at reading the D . We have all seen during the time Tyrod was our QB players that were open & he didn't see them coming open or didn't have the confidence in what he was seeing to throw into the window given . AJ has (any time I've watched him) shown a Brady like awareness of the field . IMHO i think he will be a great QB & we will see the same kind of production & player that he was while playing for Saban along with the wins ! Only if given a true chance to prove himself & Allen because of where he was taken in the draft isn't anointed the day one starter to work out his faults while in real game situations which could be either a terribly bad thing or a awesome like good thing !! But i'm putting my money on AJ !! I think he could be the Bills Brady & if he's not it wouldn't surprise me if Bellichek noticed his talent took him for nothing installed him in his offense & made the Bills & the AFC east pay for another 10 years after he is gone & turns the reigns over to the next HC !!

I'm all in with Mccaron if he shows half of what he did in college which he did (and will again) in the games he played for the Bengals i think it will be a good thing but i hope Mcbean & company don't pull another Ralph & pull him just because they drafted a QB in the first round !! The other thing is i hope AJ wins so that all the nay sayers here on this board can be made to eat their words that would be a great day ! Kind of like all of those that use to love to see Flutie win games & then bad moth him after the fact at least AJ could have proof on paper with his win stats when a Bills fan says how bad he sucked !! He like Flutie can just say well look at the facts wins vs. losses says it all their record is the proof no matter how much they think the player stinks i would like to see how many of them were jumping around while the Bills were winning with the little man at the helm & how many will jump on the wagon again when AJ does the same thing !!

If he turns out to be a good QB it will be Bean & Pegula's pick if he sucks it will be a Brandon influenced pick !!

They did bring in a veteran FA at the QB position & i don't think that McD is planning on a look out below season he will depend on the process he has set in place & be as competitive as he can with the parts he puts together & that Bean gives him ! There are still some places they can improve & i think they will the draft isn't done as of yet & they still have FA that will come available after the draft is done & given what McBean & company has done to this point i think they will be fine !! But Bills fans know better so there will be a on slot of criticism no matter what they do or how they go about it !!
