Tremaine Edmunds will test free agency
Green Lightning replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Short story is Edmunds is key to the McD/Frazier defense. The FO failed in getting a good DL to get the 4 man rush needed to sustain that D. Losing Edmunds means changing up the defensive scheme. I don't think Frazier has the will or the chops to do it. Maybe that's why they brought in Holcomb. -
Few DEs do it alone. We got zero pressure from the interior line and other DE. Rousseau has lots upside but can't do it alone. Bashem and Epenesa are back ups. Oliver would be effective playing next to Ted Washington in his prime, but average otherwise. Rousseau is the last of our issues on the DL.

That's on the OC and not the player. They don't scheme for him now and much of the time he has to stay in and block because our OL sucks.

Rex Ryan emerging as favorite for DC in Denver?
Green Lightning replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hmmm, build a bully, get some snacks and get fired. -
Yolo is a class poster and we would like him back. Hope all is well with him.

Bills hire new WR coach Adam Henry
Green Lightning replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's draft a fast receiver early on and stop the retreads. Need young bloods on rookie deals. How Billsy would it be to sign OBJ, have him ready by about November only to get injured for the playoffs. -
We are, so let's stop pissing his prime away by not protecting him or by not scheming to keep him from playing superman every game. Coaches and FO decisions took 2 years off our SB window and other teams have caught up.

I would have confirmed the OP's rumor if I didn't have an important business meeting to attend.

Gregory Rousseau is becoming elite
Green Lightning replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. I see Groot as a Phil Hansen type who perfectly complemented Bruce. Great run stopper and edge setter who could also get sacks. Not elite but a solid piece of the D. My biggest disappointment is Ed Oliver. Precious top ten D pick that is just okay. -
If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
Green Lightning replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we're already there. -
Jessie Pegula reveals more about Kim
Green Lightning replied to extrahammer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yikes. Another reminder that all of us are just one day away from a bad diagnosis. Kim was young and seemingly healthy...until she wasn't. Jessica seems ready to pick up some of the slack and we know she's a competitor. Sending positive energy to the Pegulas. -
Perhaps Kromer is overrated as an OLine coach?
Green Lightning replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our Oline has little to any push when you need a few yards. It's an average to below average bunch and Kromer can only do so much. -
For one day, you are the Boss: what you do ?
Green Lightning replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Depends. I'd McD still has the locker room I'd keep him. I wonder if his message is getting old with some veterans. -
Bill O’Brien - thoughts about him as OC?
Green Lightning replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Josh still wants Dorsey then he is going nowhere. I hope they don't waste another year of Josh's prime with an OC that cannot scheme to protect the franchise from blitzes or understand situational football. An OC who can't comprehend a short passing game to protect Josh from absorbing all the punishment he got this year waiting for the constant deep pass routes to develop. No adjustments for a run and pass scheme that an average at best OL can better protect Josh. DCs have Dorsey figured out and relying on Josh to be superman every week is not sustainable. We need a new OC and pronto. -
Are the Bills committed to Ed Oliver in 2023?
Green Lightning replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, there's that... -
Willing to give that a year.

Our players were fine during last year's KC divisional game. Our coaches were not I think we've gone as far as we can with them. We didn't show up yesterday. We looked beat after their second TD. They played with confidence and swagger. We looked confused and beaten. That is coaching.
-
Then bat the ball down. We can't do that either. Cover man to man like the Cincy D did - oops no, we play off ten yards and hope they drop the ball. In other words - ADJUST!. They did a bit, but even on longer drop backs our DLine couldn't get home. Same old story. Three first round picks and two second round picks on the DLine and zero to show for it.

We would of won if we had a dome
Green Lightning replied to Chicagobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's not surface or weather factor that would make our sorry DLine and OLine any better. Both teams had the same footing. We just got demolished by a better team with better coaches. -
They extended McD, he's not going anywhere. And that raises the question many of us want to dance around. Is this a guy who can win it all? 13 seconds shook my confidence in him to the core. Incomprehensible decision. If another DC comes in and McD wants the same permanent nickel defense, why change Frazier at all? If he's okay with no run game (take Josh out of the equation) and zero short passing game, then what diff does it make to change out the OC? This iteration of the Bills makes for a good team, wins lots of games, but haphazard and unpredictable and rides on Josh 100%. It's clear this team is not championship caliber. The players, coaches and schemes need a thorough vetting and changes made. This team and their coaches are not good enough.

Feeling a bit like Green Bay. All that investment in the D Line has produced nada. ignoring the O Line killed us this year. We lost both trenches and were pushed around like a high school team.
