  1. In the waning seconds of the game, we had Mayfield for a sack only to find McD called a time out. Instead of a few seconds left, the clock was reset to 16 seconds. He's had several TOs that cost us in the past as well.
  2. Umm, and gave the ball back soon after with enough time on the clock so they could have one more crack at a score. Close it out like the big boys do.
  3. I'll be on Dorsey until he actually can close a game out and get a first down in crunch time. 3:00 left in the game, close it out. We can't do it.
  4. This team is incapable of closing a game out. Can't make that vital 1st down or can't get off the field. Bonehead penalties on 4th down stops. We go ultra conservative and make what should be a solid win into a white knuckler. We do this over and over. Great teams finish. We cannot.
  5. Which brings us to the Dorsey question again. So what if they had a good D plan? If the rush is overloaded something has to be open and it's up to the OC to scheme it -- say maybe a shotgun draw or two. 😡
  6. By no means an expert, but Josh seems to have lost his pluck. He's not the ####-sure QB he was. He looks tentative and unsure on many snaps. Like to see him swagger again.
  7. Slow deterioration. One of the worst 3rd down Defenses in the league. Down our two starting DTs, all-pro LB and CB, this D keeps nobody up at night. Blitz after blitz was a fail and gobs of yardage given up at key moments. We made Mac look like Burrow. Hope Oliver can play Thursday.
  8. Well the DC didn't shine Sunday either. Giving up good of yardage regularly and seeming cannot stop anything that turns the corner.
  9. 4-3. Back to a drought era good but not good enough team.
  10. The team is broken. McD and Dorsey have lost them. We missed the window. 13 seconds was our year and the coaches lost it, and are not good enough to bring it back. I was sure Josh would bring us a championship but that looks years away now. Many teams are flat-out better than we are. Maybe a new OC, HC or a new GM will value on OLine in the future, and value real receivers past Diggs. Next year no Poyer or Hyde. Diggs past 30, Dawkins is on the decline and Morse is finished. Still no elite weapons past Diggs. Secondary is a mess and can't stop FN Mac Jones. Beane's volume vs value mindset has failed. I believe it may be time to move on while Josh is in his prime.
  11. Mac Jones, 25 of 30. Defense was awful only surpassed by a clueless offense thar relies only on Super Josh.
  12. This team is a hot mess.
  13. 14 pts versus a 1-5 team doesn't suggest successful counters. I see a offense that is structured for continual 3rd and longs.
  14. While I don't buy into all the OP's assumptions, I have to agree that DC's have our number and Dorsey seems flummoxed to figure out a new attack. Let's see what the Pats dark lord dials up today and how Dorsey responds.
  15. Other teams have receivers other than their #1 that actually get open. We do not. We force Josh to throw pinpoint lasers to covered guys repeatedly. If you're happy with our current weapons, maybe you should reexamine what it means to be bonkers.
  16. Offer all of our other receivers, Elam and some picks. We will never beat elite teams with just Diggs and a collection of #3s.4s & 5 receivers.
  17. Ouch, that sucks for Indy. Surprising with that OLine.
  18. Ahead of #1's on bad teams with bad QB's is a pretty low bar. Simms is saying to be elite, we need better weapons for Josh. How many times are we going to see Josh dancing around, being chased because nobody is open. We haven't had a real complement to Diggs since Beasley. Davis ain't getting it done. He's a downfield guy who cannot get rapid separation. It used to be elite defenses could shut us down, now even the Giants can do it. Simms is spot on. We need better receivers.
  19. Well, let's see if the O can find its ass with both hands this week. If they play like they have the past two weeks it's a bad trend.
  20. With a QB and receiver rich draft, I want our 1st rounder next year. With all the QB hungry teams, a great receiver is likely to be available to us. We need 1a receiver to complement and eventually replace Diggs.
  21. Well, is he wrong?
