  1. Only commented on his guard play. Thought he was kinda light for run blocking.
  2. Nope, but my coworker is a huge Dallas fan and says he's okay, plays a lot of spots but dominates in none. So capable, better than what we have, for that I am happy. Better in pass pro but hardly a mauler. Similar to Morse. Not going to impose their will on many.
  3. Jeebus, okay, you love the guy. I am underwhelmed. Just feels like a Beane budget OL signing. I am hoping for some OL hope in the draft.
  4. No, but what have you done for me lately? Be nice to have a consistent force somewhere on this OL.
  5. Be nice if true. He's ranked 79th in run blocking, doesn't assuage my fears of Josh continuing to get battered every time we need a yard.
  6. Well that's the point. Being a level up from Saffold is not the bar I want to measure our FA IOL signings.
  7. I am also sick of not making 3rd and short because our IOL can't make a yard.
  8. Well, it certainly feels like a vintage Beane midling OL signing. I was hoping our Oline could get us a yard or 2 on 3rd and short. This guy looks like he he has less of a push than Morse. So much for a stud IOL. Still going to be a finesse team.
  9. He would. They want a 2nd and 4th plus the hefty coin we'd have to pay and he still won't stretch the field. We need some youth and speed. Just MHO.
  10. Hopkins does zero for our need for speed.
  11. And rightly so...
  12. A reliable way of picking up a first and 2 without beating up Josh? Sign me up.
  13. They have to know more than a go route in the NFL. He's got a very limited route tree. He would stretch the field however.
  14. Heard that last year with Mackenzie. Shakir showed some growth but I'll believe it when our slot can regularly get separation and give Josh a reliable option.
  15. Oliver is going nowhere. Beane is not going to bail on the 9th pick in the draft. He'll give him another year and say his inury held him back this year. Only so many L's Beane will take. Cody, Epenesa, Moss, Bashem and losing Tremaine. He won't add Oliver to the list just yet.
  16. Just think of DT's blowing by Saffold and DE's racing around Spencer Brown to smack Josh and you will be fine with it.
  17. Right, I'm saying if he's there, then take him. If he's not there, don't take a lesser player for the sake of taking offense.
  18. Unless it’s a plug and play-n-starter I wouldn't draft offense at 27 for the sake of drafting offense.
  19. Don't have him cover the 40 times, he's got slow eyes.
  20. They turned it over twice as well. Again, last string QB who was a rook.
  21. Gosh sue me. Not at will but hung 24 of their 31 points on us on offense with a rookie last string QB.
  22. They played against a 4th string QB.
  23. Hey, if you're happy with this D, good for you. It's not good enough and not coached well enough to get us over the top in my opinion. If you feel otherwise, then we disagree. I'm happy for the change.
  24. This D has failed at every big moment. It's great against lesser teams but cannot get off the field against good QBs. Miami seemingly scored at will and Cincinnati took their foot off the gas when they saw we just quit. The D game has passed McD by and he needs to get new blood and new schemes if we area to make it to the top of the mountain. This coaching staff is just not good enough. If McD calls the D with another figurehead DC we'll be having the same conversation in 2024 with another year of Josh's prime out the window.
  25. I still can't get passed 13 seconds. One of the biggest moments in team history and the D they dialed up was beyond pathetic. Our D finished the last few games this season in lackluster and confused fashion. The Cincy game put me over the top. There is talent on our D, I hope to see a new DC bring it out. All the stat-heads will point to our record and where our D finished in the standings. But when it is crunch time our coaches are just less then our opponents' coaches. Three years of a SB window wasted. Time for a change.
