This game is likely going to come down to our D-line winnings one on one matchups both in the run game and the pass rush game...if we can do that semi-effectively we should disrupt their offense. Simply said, but harder to do. A wrinkle or two that we haven't yet put on tape on both sides of the ball could really help swing the game in our favor too (cough cough: screen pass, reverse, more d-line stunts)

What is your favorite Buffalo Bills memory?
PaattMaann replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a collection of memories from when I was 7-12 years old. It was during our Super Bowl years and right after. My mom and step-father HATE sports. I loved the Bills. Every sunday I would wake up and read the local sports section front to back, absorbing all Bills related and general NFL related news and stories. My step dad and I would walk through town, usually to pick up breakfast. I would babble the entire time about the days matchup or how the season was going, how each player could impact the game, what we needed to do to win the game. I am positive that my step dad wanted to blow his brains out the entire time, but he just let me vent. Years later he told me that yes he did abhor listening to sports talk, but he loved seeing my passion and excitement for something and that is why he allowed himself to suffer through Sundays during football season. The Buffalo Bills for me, like many of you here, have been a life long obsession for me. I cannot possibly pick out one single memory, so I chose to go with my earliest memories of Bills fanhood that shaped me into who I am, as a fan, today. And a nice little tribute to one of the most important people in my life, my step Dad. Thanks for indulging. -
9 wins will get Bills to playoffs if....
PaattMaann replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
10 would be ideal...but it is good news to know that if we lose to a mighty hot Saints team, all is not lost...have to take care of the remaining AFC games. Obviously we all want us to beat this Saints team, and theres a 50/50 chance we could. This is a refreshing take about only getting to 9 wins though...something that SHOULD really be attainable (and would set up a HUGE week 17 for the Bills). Lets start the march to 10 though by getting a big win this weekend! DEFEND OUR DIRT -
dont be silly, TT should just sling it man...does there need to be anyone to throw it to? just throw it!!!! thats what franchise QBs do brah, they just drop back, close their eyes and throw

I do care, I absolutely care. Just not about what YOU are drinking...if you wanna drink schwill, god bless you. Which was what my post was about. I care about what I drink. I love craft beer. I work in the industry. I am around it day in and day out. I have never met someone who rubs their craft beer love in others faces, I am sure they exist though. They suck just as much as someone who hates on people who have a passion for consuming delicious and different tasting beer.

sounds like something you'd hear from a guy who is, for some reason, butt hurt over people judging him for drinking schwill? Some of us prefer taste/variation/experimentation in what we choose to drink, while also not caring if you choose to drink schwill

Micah Hyde Named AFC Defensive Player of the Month

your confusing replacing players in the future with depth on the current roster, sorry you are confused -
Micah Hyde Named AFC Defensive Player of the Month
PaattMaann replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how can you say there isnt quality depth on the defensive side of the ball? Poyer, Gaines and Humber all missed chunks of time, and their backups have played fantastic and we haven't really missed a beat defensively. Dareus was out and now traded and we havent even noticed... where exactly is the lack of defensive depth showing? -

loved this signing and I am so happy he is fulfilling expectations (or surpassing)...a true great guy and football player. He spends every Tuesday, like many of his team mates, focusing on charity and community out reach. My wife was worked personally with him on these events and cant say enough about the quality of person he is. GREAT JOB Mr. Hyde. -
Why did teams let Micah Hyde and our current players go?
PaattMaann replied to Billsfed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hyde was starting all over GBs backfield his whole career....they couldnt pay him, and we were the highest bidders...good ole fashioned FA signing Poyer was indeed a great scouting job....a buddy of mine and good poster here BarleyNY is a big Browns fan, and when we signed him his words were something like "I guess he is a backup"? he wasnt too impressed with him from the Browns but obviously our FO/staff saw something in his ability because hes a rock for us -
very informative post!!! In the running for post of the year! Nicely done with your 30th overall post kiddo!

they got in practices today, thats the way its looking...they are listed as questionable -
Beane said on WGR at noon today that it was 50/50 if he plays. He said this caught them all off guard and the coaching staff had to decide whether or not it was the best thing to do to suit him up. Staff and players have installed a game plan and plays already, aren't sure if they want to alter that or not.

Expectations on next five games?
PaattMaann replied to TFBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It all starts with getting a W tomorrow night...IF we do that NO - Win...I dont see how they come into our house and beat us on our dirt...trust the process SD - coin flip really....I hope McD has us leave a day or two early and practice out there (WHY DONT TEAMS DO THIS MORE? I dont care that players are away from their family, let the bodies adjust for 48 hours)...if chargers have lost a couple in a row they could feel hopeless and not play as inspired? Rivers is still a good QB, they have weapons and a strong run game. Would need to really really play well I think to win. But if we are coming off four straight wins...we could be riding high and win this game. Thats all that I am prepared to do, and not even this much really...the NFL is a week to week league...as much as we poke fun at it, it is hard to win in the NFL. -
Matt Milano starting LB from here on out?
PaattMaann replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well that is a different point than what you said, still wrong, but a different point. You insinuated Milano should play because he is a rookie who can get better, while Humber cannot possibly get better ("reached his ceiling") because hes a vet...that is utterly ridiculous. Humber was playing extremely well early on before the injury. Milano has made a couple really big plays, and has also looked like a rookie at times. I bet you will see them both, and often, throughout games as long as both are healthy and still producing. Why does everything have to be either/or with people??? Most of the world is grey, not white/black. -
Matt Milano starting LB from here on out?
PaattMaann replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh yea totally! Its impossible for players to get better once they are over the age of 25, thats science and you cant argue with science!! get out of here with your weak, middle school takes -
Week 9: Jets' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced
PaattMaann replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh wow you MUST be the fist person to refer back to one of the other years we had a good start and it all crumbled...thanks!!!! We, as Bills fans, are all well aware of the past. But, what does the past have to do with THIS team right now? -
Matt Milano starting LB from here on out?
PaattMaann replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Humber back with the 1s at practice today....I am sure Milano will still get PT, and the way this coaching staff makes in game/on the fly adjustments...you can be sure they will yank Humber if they think they would be getting better production out of Milano -
Bills better off surrounding Taylor than replacing him?
PaattMaann replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes, but big IF....Beane doesnt strike me as a GM who would just take a QB to take a QB. They have a project in Peterman, and a current starter in TT. IF one is available they identify as someone they cant live without I fully expect them to take one. If not, I fully expect them to continue to build this team. -
