Absolutely nothing lol.

drop one to the jets or dolphins, specifically. Ravens game does not matter for division.

Ultimately you are correct. BUT, from a momentum perspective this game IS big. We win and carry loads of momentum into the last three games of the season and the playoffs. We win and New England loses all their season long built up momentum (bye week off, then a loss to the Bills) and questions start to creep in for them, making it maybe a little more possible that they drop a game to the Jets (yea right) or Dolphins (dolphins COULD play spoiler with their run game and improved D). Momentum is real, both in games and in season.

His comments are spot on, and he says it repeatedly on Fridays on One Bills Live (the ONLY listenable thing on WGR - except for anytime Sal is on, but I don't listen to it enough to catch when he is on). This take would be different IF we had a healthy Ed Oliver and Michael Hoecht (and Bosa). Then the defensive front could really get after opposing QBs and put pressure on all game long, allowing our offense to be a little more free with their style of play and not have the players and coaches worry about one mistake costing them the game. Offensively, we are one draft pick away from being really complete. IF Coleman was a hit, we have our number 1 WR and the rest of the room (and offense) is all lifted because of it. I can't pretend that our very good TE room, dominant o-line, elite RB and best QB in the game is not a huge problem for other teams to prepare for. This isn't a "dire straits" situation that many on here pretend it is.

the 2026 discussion is interesting... You would assume Davis and Cooks are gone. Healthy Palmer (fingers crossed, but can we count on that from a planning perspective?), Shakir, Shavers, Coleman (he isn't going to get cut if I'm betting, just doesn't make financial sense) and a rookie or 2? Is THAT good enough? I guess it depends on who the rookie(s) is and their impact. We aren't going to be spending in FA because we don't have the money. Swing a trade for a disgruntled Justin Jefferson? I don't know.

plenty of African Americans in WNY use the term yall. Its not in a drawn out hillbilly way, but they certainly use it, a lot.

Yes. And, we can beat the Patriots without Bosa (not saying this is an easy game, just saying we just beat a better offense without Bosa, it can be done).

I find it funny that you think individuals making plays doesn't count for the defense, when those players play....defense lol You should watch more football around the league. I am not saying this defense is good. Just saying its been good enough to keep us in games. We should have beaten the Texans with a competent offensive performance, but Brady had his head in his butt (as did Josh). This defense has no pass rush and its a problem.

forced punt on last possession of 2nd quarter and first possession in the third quarter. Against a great offense like the Bengals, the best your going to do is get 3/4 stops and/or turnovers. We got that and stopped a 2 point conversion. Those stops and turnover matter man. Defense has showed up for the last month.

yet they are doing enough to be successful and put the team in position to win games.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

no they wont -
Or Darnell Savage in that role if they like what they see from him in the next couple of months. And if they like what they have gotten from Hancock at safety by then.
-
no. Kincaid and how he is used/his skills are nothing close to what Hawes is, or even could be. Hawes is much closer to Dawson Knox than Dalton Kincaid. If Kincaid walks due to money, we would simply use a WR in that role instead of a TE.

Considering they only shoot off fireworks when we score, I hope you are correct. -

I was only taking umbrage with that part of your statement though, something that was factually incorrect and I wanted to point out its been one of our strengths, which seems to be what you couldn't understand from the beginning. Go Bills. -

I get it, he has not stayed healthy. But this is silly. Ill take his great production even just for half the games to be honest. -

I agree completely. To hear actual respected NFL film watchers (Olrovsky and Cosell) say they have no clue what the passing offense is doing scheme wise is VERY Telling and has more to do with "no weapons" -
The #1 Key To Buffalo Going On A Playoff Run
PaattMaann replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
The #1 key to going on a playoff run is our health heading into the playoffs and then staying healthy throughout. Seeding does not matter. Opponent does not matter. Every year we have been knocked out of the playoffs it has been largely because of who was NOT available in the game. -

This might be one of the dumbest comments I have ever seen, and I'm not really trying to offend you. The Bills offense scores points on first drives incredibly well, like that is factual, they are top 5 in the league in getting points off the first drive...but don't trust the fact that they score points, its all about how it LOOKS while they do it??????? Like, seriously, you read that yourself and tell me that does not sound dumb? This was not a conversation about the Bills offense as a whole, I would agree with what you said above if you apply that to the offensive philosophy, but this was a discussion about them "starting slow" and I provided facts saying otherwise, facts that indisputably contrary to your claim. -

I disagree we are struggling. Again, our offense ranks in the top 5 in points scored on 1st possessions...that seems to be the opposite of struggling. That seems to say we thrive with scripted plays. One could say RECENTLY we have not been as successful, to which I would say Josh threw a silly mental mistake INT last week (to which he admitted post game), that isn't the offense starting slow, its Josh being an idiot for a play. Marched down the field for a TD against the leagues best defense in our 1st drive two weeks ago. Against the Bucs, Allen yet again throws a dumb INT on the 2nd play of the game. That's not on the offense starting slow, that's Allen making a dumb decision. I cannot agree that a team that is top 5 in scoring on 1st drives can be labeled as starting slow. -

And yet my point remains, still a top 5 team in 1st drive points scored.
