  1. if you check hall of fame website, they list all teams played for, there is memorabilia from all teams they played for, if you search by franchise players who played for multiple teams are listed under all franchises they played for (like check out Reggie White) So sounds like maybe you are just concerned if Shady picks an eagle or a bill to speak for him at the HOF induction ceremony? I guess...who cares? I love that Shady has loved Buffalo since he actually arrived, sure when he was traded he was upset...hes been in PA his whole life and the trade came out of nowhere...but now considers Buffalo home, loves it here and wants to finish his career here. When his career is over, he will have been a tremendous Eagle AND Bill.
  2. I heard it on a radio interview the other day...I am trying to remember who they were interviewing about the HOF but he explained that in the NFL you dont choose to be inducted for any one team, you just get inducted and they honor all teams you played for in your career...when the interviewee comes to mind, I will edit this post
  3. in the NFL you go in as a member of all teams you played for in your career...no need to choose
  4. Well to play devils advocate, why would you give away your current franchise QB to take a gamble and draft one who may or may not be a franchise QB??? The only "negative" of Luck is his shoulder....if they move on from him I would want nothing to do with him because they obviously have big red flags regarding his phyiscal future
  5. we arent really in the playoffs right now, as soon as games are played this week we wont be based on common opponents tie breakers coming in this team isnt good on offense or defense, thats why we wont make the playoffs its been an encouraging season overall given the overhaul of personnel and change in schemes...but we arent a playoff team
  6. LAMAAAARRRRRR JACKKKKSONNNNNNNNNNNNN (if he comes out) Talented passer in the pocket, has proven that over and over this season...has improved every year he has played. Has the athletic ability to get out and run if things fall apart (but that isnt his first option). A truly prolific offense could be built around him. However, we have old school McDermott and his buddy Rico, so we would probably ruin his career before it even started...he or Baker Mayfield would be my choice (Rosen/Darnold wont be a real option without mortgaging the farm, which even still I dont think gets it done)
  7. I have no idea which stadiums, It wasn't my idea, I was just saying that bonds dont ONLY come from the government....corporations/businesses are allowed to issue bonds as well
  8. not saying he is right, but businesses can sell bonds as well as the gov't so in this case, the bond would likely be from the bills or pegula ent.
  9. dear god no on Rudolph....hope its only the scouting department and stops with the GM/Coach. I don't get whats to like with Rudolph. Product of a pass happy, spread, QB friendly offense/coach, with the best WR corp in college football for two years now. Mahomes was at least reading defenses and going through progressions...noooooooo to Rudolph
  10. I like McDermott and his vision of a team...for the most part. I wish we played with more attitude/edge, but perhaps that is partly on the players we have on the roster and he will bring more players with edge in. I do not like that he IS NOT learning from his in-game mistakes. He preaches all the time about the process, and how you have to continue to learn and build from both good things and bad things..yet he is still mis managing time clock/game management issues. So he is clearly NOT learning and it bothers me more than anything else he has done here. Hopefully the end of the season will give him more time to reflect and rectify his own personal process, but I do like the way he is building this team while still fielding a competitive (kind of) product.
  11. gross exaggeration, rewatch it, they were removed quite quickly
  12. The ref's didnt miss it, they saw what was happening and kicked them off the field...COULD they have assessed a penalty based on the fact it was happening? According to the rule book I quoted above, they could have, but its a judgement call...which means they handled it absolutely appropriate (whether we all agree with it or not)
  13. I agree....McD is bordering on "sucks" when it comes to in game decision making. For a guy who constantly totes the line "look to get better at everything every week", he sure has not learned to be better with his decision making the challenge last week was the worst challenge I have ever seen in my life...what was he trying to challenge? did he honestly think a flag could be thrown after review??? constant waste of timeouts all year the punt
  14. Regarding point #1, I am not so sure about "no one being able to argue against that penalty" on the 2 PT conversion attempt...if its within 1 yard of the LOS I believe the WR can in fact "block" or set a pick on the DB...and it sure looked like they were within 1 yard of the LOS
  15. OK, that was quick research...according to the Game Operations Manual set forth by the NFL: - ONLY players can clear an area on the field with their hands and feet to set up for a field goal attempt (no other team personnel is allowed to do so) - Field officials should use judgement to assess and penalize for any violations So, nothing is set in stone other than the two things mentioned above...so until refs tell the Bills players to get out of there (like they did with Tre) I dont see why Bills players couldnt kick the snow back into the cleared area, but you would be risking a penalty that the refs COULD legally throw... Lots of judgement calls here by usually incompetent officials
  16. Tre White 100% kicked snow back into the spot they were trying to clear, right after the refs kicked the water boys/trainers off the field for trying to clear the spot...LOVE Tre White, and this is just more of a reason to do so As far as the legality of both teams trying to remove snow while the other kicks it back? I would think there isnt even an NFL rule regarding the topic...but now I am going to try to do some research on it
  17. THE GAME WAS OVER WHY WOULD A 15 YARD PENALTY HAVE MATTERED? THE SEASON IS OVER WHY WOULD A SUSPENSION HAVE MATTERED?
  18. yea I just dont see McD and his love for character guys going after Mayfield...his list of incidents is almost as long as his list of accomplishments on the field PERSONALLY I would love it, I am just not getting my hopes up based on whos calling the shots
  19. I also cannot wrap my head around people defending their lack of response...and actually havent see that done until today on this message board. Interesting
  20. just jumping in here, but hes 6-1 listed by his school.....there is nooooo way he measures in at 6-1 at the combine (I dont think shortness should disqualify a QB - i love Baker)
  21. I trust ya, we are both established posters here...I know you will pay up when we are "eliminated" to your satisfaction
  22. we are out of the playoffs because we are a bad football team....and the best we can do is get to 9-7 (beat the pats in foxboro when they whooped us at home?? lol) and lose tiebreakers...kind of simple
  23. he edited his earlier response to add his explanation, so originally there was no explanation...hence why I responded the way I did....maybe he let him "fight his own battles" eh bud?
  24. yup fair enough! to each his own What would you suggest a team like the Bills do so teams stop bullying them, if not retaliate?
