  1. I don't think there is much of a chance Palmer becomes QB coach. He has a sustainable thing going where - I assume - he gets a VERY healthy check from each QB after they are drafted and signed. It's in California, on his terms. Why on earth would he become a QB coach for just one team when he could be fired at any time and his former biz is jeopardized?
  2. I am a passive-at-best NCAA watcher, but it seems like it would excellent if Ed Oliver happens to fall to 9. Before last season, he was projected to be a top 2 pick. I believe he got banged up during the season? Also Houston not a juggernaut by any means.
  3. Palmer's retainer fees must be amazing. Basically probably takes a cut just like an agent.
  4. He's still a free agent basically...If any team wants him on active roster. Prob just a camp look next summer for Dallas.
  5. Let's just agree to disagree, but the likelihood of what you're proposing actually happening is less than 1 percent of 1 percent.
  6. Good 'luck' with that. The Colts are going to be great for the next 5 years. They have two rookies as first-team all pros and have just as much cap room as we do....
  7. this offense is going to have at least 6 new starters next year.
  8. Matt Barkley doing this all night...
  9. Sad face, but also true face. The line is 13 for a reason, and I just think Brady gets points at home almost without fail. On paper this has blowout written all over it...but we'll see what mojo the Bills have. They have been in close games since Allen's return.
  10. Couldn't agree more. Just get W's.
  11. First time caller, part time lover.
  12. Wonder if KB gets grabbed by a playoff contender on the cheap for rest of year? Basically free?
  13. Generally speaking, the best bang-for-the-buck free agents can be interior O-line. You don't break the bank, and yet you get "right now" NFL players. I can totally see this team going higher end vet Oline in FA, then taking BPA - likely defense - with its first 1st round pick...then Oline with the KC pick. That said, you have to hit on your skill position draft picks. Not a great, high-end class of WRs, but that doesn't mean there isn't someone that can be a difference maker over time. Be boring and get beef up front, then keep all your picks and take as many shots as possible. I'm still largely fine with BPA but they have to weight skill positions a little more this year.
  14. I am 100% OK with a "boring" draft where they sit with the picks they have OR move back to accumulate more. They just have to plug as many holes with impact players as possible. It really doesn't matter to me as long as they get guys that can play. Reaching for anyone is not an option.
  15. How are you possibly measuring this?
  16. Does this mean we won the offseason?
  17. both...but 65/35 on clay
  18. I am simply saying we just don't know because this kind of league hasn't really existed.
  19. That is impossible to know given the current "system." I would reckon there are guys that could come back to the NFL at 26 and could really contribute if they have been playing and not bagging groceries for a few years. I am bullish on the idea. If NCAA is the end-all be all, I just don't think it's enough.
  20. If this league ends up being even a little bit of a young feeder league to the NFL, it will be 100% fine. Not every person is ready to play in the NFL at age 22. Some really may be at age 25 if they have the chance to continue to play. As it stands now, there are so many guys that are out of the league that you never know if they would have continued to develop and just needed more marinating.
  21. Misleading thread title alert. Josh Allen *WINS* Angry Run of the week. ?
  22. Never overestimate how little the Patriots care about off the field stuff.
  23. I get the point of getting Allen live reps, but is he really going to be wearing the bionic arm brace during the game? Everyone knows the risk of a full blown UCL injury, right?
  24. I just happen to like Tre's nickname for Levi: "501"
