  1. Agreed! Give me Golden or Burden round 1 and I’ll be happy
  2. I want to agree with you because you make good points BUT I have zero faith if we drafted all defense it would make a difference come playoff time. Every year we invest in the defense and McD and company do nothing to stop KCs offense. Josh is the only reason we are going to get past the chiefs and he needs more reliable weapons, and weapons that can actually get open. Beane is awful at drafting top end talent early (he’s great at finding late round gems). I really wanted us to go after one of the top 4 WRs last year or at least go to the WR well multiple times in such a stacked draft class. I hope this year Beane finally figures out that with McD coaching this team we need to invest everything around Josh if he wants Buffalo to finally hoist the Lombardi
  3. The only way I want a safety drafted in the first 2 days is if after he’s drafted Hamlin is immediately released.
  4. Samuel and Palmer are both overpaid. Samuel is a gadget player, a better version of Isaiah McKenzie. Palmer was a part time player behind one of the worst starters in the league in Q Johnston. I do think Palmer will beat man coverage and bring a needed element but he’s not worth $36 mil imo when Hopkins went for $6 mil and has proven to be clutch over and over. Hope I’m wrong and Palmer is amazing. All in all I just want to go after long term cheap options (draft, draft, draft) for Josh to develop with instead of overpaying for jags
  5. So we will go into the season with the worst WR corps in the league? Shakir is the only proven legitimate NFL WR on our roster. Superman Josh again, why not I definitely hope you’re right because this is the worst WR corps we’ve ever had. Outside of Shakir we have part time, rotational players at best
  6. Hopefully Tre is recovered from the injury. He’s so smart, this will be a good signing and best of what was out there. Maybe you can get Douglas for the same deal
  7. I mean if it guaranteed we got Golden I might be down for this trade up
  8. It’s fun to make things up…no one said overpay for cooper, no one said give up on Coleman and no one said Palmer is not good. Cooper at one year, $6 mil like Hopkins got from the ravens is a fine deal for a WR who has consistently been a winner with bad QB play throughout his career. Coleman I believe will improve but he’s not a separator and didn’t do a good job winning contested catches so right now he’s a jag until proven otherwise Palmer can separate but why couldn’t he beat out Q Johnston last year who has been a HUGE disappointment. And why is he worth $36 million!? Beane is overall a very good GM but he’s below average at putting impact offensive weapons around Josh. No more overpaying for jags like Curtis Samuel and Palmer. Hopefully he finally learned his lesson and goes to the WR well over and over again in the draft since he’s never going to pay for real WR talent in free agency and isn’t going to trade up for one in the draft.
  9. Surprised he only got a 5th with such a weak QB class this year.
  10. That’s the point, Beans BPA list needs tweaking early in drafts. He has a great staff around him for the later rounds or maybe he listens to them more later but early in rounds he doesn’t hit home runs (besides Josh). He hits a lot of singles and also strikes out some. Let’s be aggressive and go after more of the Josh talent in the draft. Oliver and Rousseau were solid doubles in the earlier drafts but since 2022 why not trade up a few picks and go after the corner you actually want in McDuffie instead of getting flustered and taking Elam, 2023 we all love Kincaid and thought the value was great but we know WR was the biggest need (and still is) why not go after the best difference maker in Zay Flowers drafted a couple picks ahead of us if that’s what you wanted. The last year again WR being the biggest need, it was unrealistic to go after nabers, odubze or Harrison but BTJ was falling and you could’ve gotten aggressive and got your guy. Instead you get the safe locker room guy who can’t separate by trading back. Beane is GREAT at getting draft capital and maneuvering in mid to late rounds for what he wants BUT since the Josh aggressiveness his first year, he’s been very timid and cost the team real difference making talent in round 1. Sack up and get er done is all I’m saying
  11. BPA would be the way to go but Beane is awful (outside of Josh) at picking the actual BPA in the first round. I trust Beane and company with later round corners so I don’t feel the need to grab one early. I hope they have some better talent evaluators for D line and WR because that’s where I’d go first couple rounds if the board falls that way. Also ENOUGH of taking the high character guys like Dwayne Carter. Our locker room is fine just get the best players period that will come up big in the playoffs
  12. I know what I see and he wasn’t the problem but believe what you want. Hamlin was the biggest problem with our secondary (but hey at least we get a hallmark movie in Buffalo so sure why not bring the guy back who wouldn’t make any other NFL teams roster), Rapp is a heat seeking moron who gets his teammates injured but our cornerbacks played well when healthy and that includes Douglas. I won’t back down from that regardless if you think I’m “pretending”
  13. So we don’t have Amari cooper any longer, Coleman regressed and still can’t separate, Hollins is gone, we nabbed the Chargers part time 3rd option (worst WR corps in the league) BUT ya let’s pass on anymore WR help early because we resigned our best WR, Shakir, who although a GREAT slot WR, is still just a slot WR. More of the same Josh being Superman with nothing around him so we can waste early draft capital on defense that never shows up come playoff time anyways 🥳 Or let’s finally invest in Josh. Maybe last year you move up for an actual difference maker like Brian Thomas Jr (only a couple picks before us) or this year maybe try and nab Golden or heck maybe draft multiple WRs and let’s have some real investment in Josh’s future weapons
  14. You’re wrong but it’s fine. When the new corner gets left on islands consistently with Hamlin behind, maybe then you all will see how atrocious our safety coverage is. Douglas, when healthy, still played above average CB imo
  15. Agreed get er done! The people that don’t know how to watch the secondary play are giving the 🤮emoji. Hamlin constantly left Douglas and Benford on islands. They both played very well having the worst cover safety in the league behind them. And for all of the love Rapp gets, he’s not much better in coverage. Bring back Douglas, get rid of Hamlin and hopefully we get average play from Bishop and we’ll be much improved in the secondary
  16. I want both Cooper and Douglas back. I think they both will be priced right and are still very good when healthy imo. Take back the $2mil you gave Hamlin and add it to their contracts
  17. Let’s get us some WR Rondale Moore. That would make up for some of the head scratching decisions this offseason
  18. I’ll be honest this is the first year I can remember I haven’t done my deep dive on prospects. After the chiefs loss I was done with watching anything football related until Josh extended. Now I’m back slowly lol. I’ll dig deeper but definitely wouldn’t be mad if those positions were the first 3 picks. One guy I liked a lot watching college last year was Golden from Texas. He would be a good fit. I also liked Restrepo a lot from Miami but not sure he brings anything we don’t already have with Shakir. He’s very solid though like him a lot
  19. I’ll be more upset if they don’t go WR early and often but I do think D line and WR will be prioritized.
  20. Maybe this was already answered but my biggest question is did the contract stay the same? It was 1 year $10 mil before knowing about the 6 game suspension so was it lowered after finding out?
  21. 100% and then you can trade cook if he really wants $15 mil per year. Mostert, Davis and Johnson would be great behind our O line and I’m sure Beane would take a later round RB to compete as well
  22. You’re wrong. It has nothing to do with what happened to him. He’s an awful safety that can’t cover and is consistently out of place leaving our corners on islands. No team with any decent talent evaluating FO was going to sign him so he wasn’t a priority and doesn’t need to be on our team anymore. He may be a great guy but we’re trying to win football games and McD and Beane don’t seem to get that sometimes
  23. I like the idea of him in his prime but I’ve made fun of how lame this dude has been the last few years that I just can’t get excited about the signing. Again this is just my POV as a guy who watched him from a distance but he doesn’t seem like a team guy. He’s got an entitled and lazy persona about him and doesn’t play hard or have that competitive edge I see from his little brother. Floyd was less money and a proven commodity in our D. Hope he just needed a change of scenery but I’m not optimistic on this dude.
