We’ve also had numerous chances to draft WRs and instead continually invest in the D line. We’re banging our heads against the wall thinking if we get that one D lineman that can become Chris jones we will win a SB instead of investing in a WR who can create separation for Josh in key moments and maybe come up with a catch to win us the game. Passing on WRs with big upside like Troy Franklin for high character nobodies like Dwayne Carter is the definition of what the McBeane regime does. Even this year let’s hope that trading up for another DT in sanders was the right call instead of trading up for Luther Burden. Probably won’t know for another year or so. I just hope they can change course and finally get that they need to invest around their biggest asset, Josh Allen. Great job on the O line now get our boy some real weapons.

Well run organizations that think they have a franchise QB continually invest in WRs in the draft. See the packers, chiefs, ravens, bengals, Texans, heck even the chargers are doing it now with none other than Jim Harbaugh in charge. Overpaying WRs like Palmer who never produced in his career and Samuel who isn’t a real WR is not what winning FOs do. Beane’s bandaid on this colossal misguided strategy is that he has the best player in the league playing QB. He may just get lucky enough to win a SB despite his miscues because Josh is such a unicorn but It wouldn’t work with any other teams QB and he’d be fired already if he didn’t have Josh to bail him and McD out. INVEST DURING THE DRAFT IN CHEAP LABOR WRs FOR THE BEST QB IN THE LEAGUE PLEASE 🙏🏻 Go Bills

Week 3 Survivor Pool.......who ya got??

As long Rattler is starting on the road for the saints it’s Seattle all day -
Which is the first game we will lose this season?
NeverOutNick replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
We should 100% be the #1 seed as long as Josh stays healthy. Outside of that I don’t really care who we lose to. -
Interesting in-game convo between Shakir and Palmer
NeverOutNick replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly it’s apathetic coaching knowing in the end Josh will bail us out. *see McDs coaching career in Buffalo -
I’ve always liked Prater in Detroit and Denver. He even looks like he’s been through some stuff and I like it lol. Bass on IR and let Prater keep it simple and easy. I’m on board

9/7/25 Post Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
No better way to kickoff our final season in the old stadium. I don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight, I’m still in shock. Proud of this team. Josh and Coleman never gave up and man I hope Ed can finally play like that for a full season because that was HOF level. Go bills! Feels like this really is the year even if we’re not most talented team in the league. -
I’ve always liked Prater since his lions and broncos days. I’m fine with this
-
I’m not going to lie I liked this last episode. Do I wish they’d show more inside the cuts, of course! But for what they were giving us I enjoyed it. Josh is genuinely an awesome dude on and off the field and the whole team seems like a family. Go bills! Let’s finally get past the chiefs and win one!

I agree with this but I hope we’re both wrong and he finally gets it together and we win it all

Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
NeverOutNick replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Neither is safe imo and I don’t agree with you on Samuel because I’ve never seen him at any point in his career as more than a gadget player. IMO the only reason he’s still on the roster is because of his contract. Hopefully I’m wrong and he’s a big contributor this year. I want all of our receivers to succeed but if I’m being honest it’s still the weakest part of our offense with mostly JAGs when compared to the other top teams in the league who replenish through the draft as we overpay for retreads or plug in castaways from other teams squads. I like to picture what Josh could have with an FO who prioritized the position. Imagine 2 years ago we saw BT jr fall in the draft and traded up a couple spots for him instead of trading back for Coleman (who I hope is awesome). Maybe we lose out on Dwayne Carter (3rd rounder) to move up those spots but that’s alright and then this year instead of trading up in round 2 for another D lineman hopeful (sanders) we traded up another couple spots for Luther Burden. Man what a sick WR corps we’d have developing for Josh to count on in clutch moments against the chiefs in the playoffs when he needs a guy to get separation and actually make a play. -
Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
NeverOutNick replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hope not. But we’ll have to see how well Moore does with Josh in a couple actual games. He’s the only real separator we have right now. I’d be all about Gabe taking Samuels spot since Gabe is an actual WR, even if he’s not the most sure handed -
That’s the one I’m hoping for 🙏🏻

Fantasy Football - Draft Discussion Only
NeverOutNick replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall
This actually sounds awesome! I’ll check it out. I’ve got my live home best ball draft on Monday. Love to just draft and be done with it. Draft is the only fun part of fantasy football the rest is too time consuming. -
I really liked him at Michigan definitely a good depth safety over Hamlin

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises
NeverOutNick replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s a strong sports legend name right there. Maybe some of that championship pedigree will rub off. Add all the Jordans you’d like Beane -
Is there a link to all of the NFL rivalry uniforms? I really like ours, but I’m also not an old curmudgeon who doesn’t like change lol
-
I don’t care what anyone says these are awesome! Very Buffalo weather. Love it
-
Agreed on Poyer being the better option in a pinch over Hamlin because he won’t look like a lost puppy out there in coverage but here’s hoping Bishop lives up to his draft status, Rapp doesn’t injure anymore teammates and Hancock surprises all and becomes our future stud, Hyde clone
-
Just watched it. I enjoyed it for the most part but I agree with most that the access given to hard knocks seems very limited. I’m still not a fan of McD as a coach that can get us the 1 seed and/or lead us to a Super Bowl BUT I do like the guy as a person. This series has made my disdain for him go away so thanks for that Hard Knocks lol
-
Sucks that Hamler didn’t stick around but maybe he wanted to try his luck somewhere else
-
In a perfect world I’d rather have the guy who wasn’t old and not clueless. Hopefully that guy is Hancock soon lol
-
I’d rather have the old guy who doesn’t make the mental errors leaving corners on islands than the guy who is clueless and out of position all the time.
-
I definitely hope this is the case. And even better I hope Hancock turns into be something special and is the third guy if one of the starters gets hurt.
