  1. I'm a fan of Condoleezza Rice but the Browns overall lack of direction is very concerning
  2. I would probably rate 85 Bears, 76 steelers, and 2000 ravens As a step above the 13 Seahawks and 15 Broncos , all still elite but maybe becoming less elite? So you think that elite defenses are going to trend toward being more frequent in today's NFL?
  3. HAha wow you're totally right I forgot all about them . They are def most recent but theory still stands . Thanks bringbackorton
  4. In an era where qb busts are down and offensive penalties are up have we seen the last of truly elite defenses. Are the 2013 Seattle Seahawks the last dominant game changing defense we will ever see in the NFL. The 69 Vikings, the 69 chiefs, The 76 Steelers, the 85 Bears, the 86 giants, the 91 eagles, the 2000 ravens, the 2002 bucs, and 2013 Seahawks all were defenses that in their own right could win multiple games. In the near future we will see slot receivers playing for twice as long and putting up twice the numbers , running backs rushing for 2000 yards a year will be common ground, qbs will be playing longer than punters, and the days of a dominant bone crushing defense that instills fear into the offensive opponent will be a distant memory . Hopefully we savored and truly appreciated the 13 Seahawks because the NFL has morphed into something new and that is a part of the game that Will never be seen again.
  5. Unless there's a franchise qb another team covets and you get a king's ransom to trade down
  6. Cam had a 1st team all pro center (Khalil) and a 1st team all pro WR (Steve smith) he also had Greg Olsen, Jeremy shockey, and Deangelo Williams (who is a phenomenal pass blocking RB) .
  7. Maybe you should rewatch the Embedded series to find your lost moral
  8. They are supremely talented on offense. How much of their success is a product of Lynn?
  9. McDermott quoted today saying "we don't want to try for a round peg into a square hole" yet he insists on starting arguably the worst quarterback to ever play in an NFL game?
  10. McDermott reminds me of a MLB traditionalist, who is dead set on tradition, culture, and using an outdated blueprint . In order to succeed you need to be proactive and have foresight. You must adapt and morph. Building a dominant defense in a new NFL that is tailored to produce record high offense is silly. Build a great offense and an average semi respectable defense
  11. I would rather the bills front office draft primarily defense year after year and spend all of our available Cap on offensive free agents because they obviously can't assess offensive talent, they're better off buying it. Lol
  12. After throwing for 600 yards and 6 touchdowns Brady abruptly and shockingly announces his immediate retirement from football during a post game interview .
  13. Nate peterman career stats are 337 yards 3 td 9 picks Brock Osweiler today threw for 380 yards and 3 td
  14. I agree that just because you're drafting another quarterback high doesn't necessarily mean you're admitting a mistake, but in the NFL world that's how it's perceived. There isnt much thinking outside the box. If we are in a position to draft another solid quarterback prospect I'm all for it but I just don't see our GM doing that , especially since they gave up assets to move up and select Allen
  15. The quarterback position is so important that drafting a quarterback every year should be a no brainer, especially with the new rookie wage scale. Unfortunately teams need to surround their quarterback with a line, offensive weapons etc. etc. before they can make their judgment call. But the biggest reason the bills wont draft a quarterback next year is because it would publicly be admitting they Missed on Allen . But I believe that it shouldn't have to be that way. Keep drafting quarterbacks in the first and second rounds let them compete. The quarterback is the easiest tradable asset on a NFL roster especially if they're decent. So usually you will be able to recoup some of the value of the selection anyway. The position is just way too important not to get it right and each year it will only get more vital
  16. The moment KC called with intentions of trading up should have been a wake up call for Buffalo.
  17. I would put Joey Bosa third best pass rusher in the league behind Kahlil Mack and Von Miller. Joey Bosa is adamant that his younger brother Nick Bosa is better and further along than he was....I think Nick Bosa is and should be the consensus number one pick now and at draft time.
  18. If there's no suspension coming I can see him joining the patriots and having a 1500 yard season. just the way things usually pan out
