  1. It's his decision if he wants to participate, but IIRC it was only one guy who was giving him ****. He seemed a little touchy IMO.
  2. This thread reminds me of the time I clicked on the headline "George Clooney eviscerates Steve Wynn" to learn that Clooney called him an !@#$. That was the extent of the "evisceration".
  3. When looking at GOAT I tend to put someone who dominated the league for a few years above a guy who compiled stats by being good for a lot of years but with a lower peak. Rice did both. He did it with two hall of fame QBs, but he also did it when the rules were a lot harder on WRs. TO and Moss both had longevity and periods of absolute dominance, with some good but not elite seasons sprinkled in. Both played with good and not so good QBs at points in their careers. Calvin Johnson and Antonio Brown have the most impressive 5 year stretches statistically, but both play in a WR friendly era with high output QBs. Who's the greatest? It's hard to go wrong with Rice, but depending on your criteria I think you could make an argument for any of them.
  4. The only exception I can think of besides Dilfer was Neil O'Donnell, of course he had 2 awful, back-breaking INTs in the SB.
  5. The Vikings. They're the best story, their fans deserve it, and !@#$ everyone else. As Doug Marrone would say, I'm obviously not pulling for the Pats. I don't care about the Eagles one way or the other, and even though I no longer harbor resentment towards Marrone, it would sting to watch him leave the Bills and win a SB. Go Case Keenum!!!!
  6. In a barrage of bullets combinated with rhyme, the moral of the story is I'mma get mine.
  7. Just looking at stats alone, his last 5 years might well be the best 5 year stretch any WR has ever had. Edit: Calvin Johnson's last 6 seasons were on the same level.
  8. He thinks Canadians are a superior race.
  9. He's more of a pre-madonna IMO.
  10. I like this approach. What bothers me about these situations is the lack of proportionality. It's never enough to say "that was a dick move, don't be such an !@#$," in these situations. Instead the race nuts act like any potentially racist comment is morally equivalent to raping a baby.
  11. He thought the key to beating the Steelers was obvious.
  12. The best way to eradicate racism is to stop acting like such enormous pussies about it. Did he ever say what the alleged "slur" even was? And the idea that a guy should be cut if it's true is kind of pathetic too. Was the defensive player going to cry from the deep pain to his inner-child from being reminded of the hundreds of years of oppression he never experienced? I'm sure he's well enough in the resources that he can by himself a very luxurious crying towel.
  13. The guy can definitely pass, but his pocket presence worries me. He doesn't climb up into the pocket which leads him to take some bad sacks. He also seems to throw an inordinate amount of INTs to DL for the same reason. That said, he's got good accuracy and a great deep ball. To me he's a high ceiling project QB.
  14. Has anyone followed this guy? I can't find much about him but he looks like he might be a real nice addition. He's got great speed and seems to track the ball well. What stands out to me is his balance and ability to play bigger than his size, kind of like Steve Smith. I know it's just a highlight video, but he looks good. Could be a nice speed guy to play opposite of Benjamin.
  15. I find it interesting that last week the consensus on the board was that our RB was the most valuable player on the team, and this week RBs aren't worth a squirt of piss.
  16. RB is a fairly high priority. It's is a big part of our offense (will probably continue to be) and the only viable NFL talent we have right now is going on 30 years old. We need someone to split time with McCoy and someone who can carry the load if he goes down.
  17. If he had a good ERA and his team couldn't score points I might.
  18. It's funny that we're living in a time of relative peace and prosperity, but to watch the msm you'd think we were living in Haiti.
  19. If you guys would stop hating on Don he could give us the inside scoop on this.
  20. Most of the people providing the entertainment in these threads do so unwittingly.
  21. Maybe Maury Povich can be her running mate.
  22. Have another drink.
  23. It would make a lot more sense if he said it to another NBA player that was ripping on his game, but Jerry's just a reporter. It would be like any poster here saying we should replace a player for performance and being told to shut up because the poster couldn't do any better, as if the poster was offering himself up as the replacement.
  24. I thought the response was kind of dumb. How sick of a burn is it to tell an old short reporter that he doesn't look like he'd be good at basketball?
  25. Thanks for the info Chad. Don't listen to the haters. Some people just always feel the need to get into a job measuring contest. I still believe.
