  1. I think you are too heavy in an offhand comment id guess he’s used to 6 and said 6. If they are sitting at the table debating guy 53 and there’s value at lb compared to guard they’d still keep 7 lbs
  2. Snap count in game 3 is the most easily twisted to fit a narrative stat I can imagine lots of snaps cause hes the leader lots of snaps cause you are showcasing a trade lots of snaps to see if he can dig out of a hole no snaps cause you are about to trade him no snaps cause he’s already on the inside no snaps cause he’s a bum you can fit darn near any argument you want around it. Which is great for a meaningless tweet to stir up some conversation and build social media presence. What it does t do is give meaningful insight by itself He was also really bad when it mattered. If anything, down the stretch when it mattered least he played best.
  3. Clowney is a young guy in his prime and most teams view the turn around process as a single year investment. It makes some sense if you haven’t gone all in on the 5 year process
  4. I worry that based on her commentary and past incidents these may be common moments. this coming from a guy that thought he was a quiet hard worker when we were targeting him. I’ll own that we know little about these guys home lives and I missed projecting his demeanor.
  5. Yea- that seemed like a legit wellness issue. He broke into her house and called the police on himself essentially. While ranting erratically. It makes a lot of sense why the judge ordered a check up.
  6. One would think there’s not an urgency to beat the cops to the punch here chung may well be suspended after an investigation but the nfl likes to let things run their course before doling out irreparable harm to a player/team im not sure the reason to be upset about that part of their approach.
  7. This is often wildly overstated. If you can run a favorable schedule you could be two home wins away from the super bowl come January. The pats have benefited from a bad afc east for 20 years here For both to win that seems way worse than the lotto
  8. 110% agreed. if I come in $10 over budget for a great meal with friends, I’m calling the night a win. I’m paying for an experience not a beer in the most cliche terms. If I spend to the penny my consumption but have to waste 20 minutes with pen paper and calculator that’s a disappointing situation.
  9. I have a couple friends that I swear would count out how many chips each person had in an order of nachos for the group. Its exhausting.
  10. I guess I struggle to see how you can think we have a great defense, you like the qb, like the coach and don’t think a top 3 back in their prime isn’t the kind of piece that makes you an immediate contender. this isn’t to call you out individually - I think I just confused this off-season by the very common gap between “I like our defense, qb and coach” and immediately following with thinking we aren’t a contender. it feels like either ptsd or not actually liking those pieces much
  11. Zeke is in discussion with them. So I disagree there. I also think that if healthy he would he would make us a super bowl contender immediately and that’s relatively priceless but man rb is high risk and after hold out it’s likely a coin flip that he misses time with a hamstring this year and probably another coin flip he misses time the year after with risk of injury and suspension rolled together. So it’s a big gamble. With a top defense, and an immediately top running game - you must not like McD or Allen if you don’t see it being a major opportunity at being top 2-3 in the afc
  12. At running back I already have a hard time paying ELITE dollars but can talk myself into it. But to add that risk of cap space to risk of injury and multiply it by rolling in a 1st rounder... AND further risk with character. as good as he is, and as free wheeling as I think we should be with assets at this crossroads....he would test my willingness to push risk vs reward
  13. Right. Which is why I said I was worried about all involved and called the bond an aggressively casual way to handle this.
  14. I’d certainly be worried if I were friends/family of this woman (or Mario) $100 bond for breaking into the house of an ex that already has a restraining order is aggressively casual unless I’m missing something in the story
  15. I can see talking yourself into “they could probably split” a lot of those. I struggle with “I would bet anything substantial on them splitting with... chiefs, rams, pats, saints, etc...” though they could win a few (in a 10 game set they probably win like 2-3 not 5 as you get into that 5-10 part of the list it quickly becomes “I see them going 1-3 vs 2 in this section but not sure which team they beat”
  16. If nothing else he seemed to show some warning signs of this kind of thing
  17. I suspect we just found where he had been living
  18. One time the person in front of me was doing Facebook live the whole night. I went on Facebook and commented on her feed. She stopped quickly.
  19. I don’t think you understand Popeyes
  20. For you to be down on a receiver is worrisome!
  21. I think the big thing to remember is that he flopped half the season, all preseason and most of his college career. You’ve got to wonder if the light suddenly came on or if he’s just a guy with great gifts that only occasionally come together. He just doesn’t have the long term track record to inspire the confidence that some had here. He might be excellent or he might be a decent 4-5 depth guy that you hope you can work in occasionally but not rely on consistently
  22. Was my initial thought too, but was sharing commentary from those that drive this road. They seemed to think likely the other way for some reason (a handful of folks)
  23. Most teams 5/6 through about 8 are pretty interchangeable. That’s like 100 dudes to fill 50 spots and 50 available for free mid season with limited drop off. It makes for one of the easiest august roster battles for fans to get into annually but also often one of the most meaningless as if you cut a guy that gets signed there tend to be plenty of interchangeable pieces
  24. Feels like a vet wanting to skip camp as much as anything that and the guy is crazy
