right and clearing just that low bar wouldn’t likely make them a contender

I think Ben might be the biggest question mark of all next year. Wouldn’t be shocking if he’s not the guy.

He’s talented and they need someone.... but man his brain is terrible. -

I would’ve been ok with the move but not upset about passing -

We should be a division winner and top 3-4 in the conference. That should be the expectation framing this season and that’s super bowl conversation -
PFF Best Player Available Going Into Day 3

it’s pretty simple to explain that if 5-10 guys are of similar grades that the one filling a hole, or harder to get elsewhere would be selected. You have still gone “BPA” generally speaking. Or if you have a big hole to fill you move to where that position has value instead of taking them way out of line it’s not crazy split brain bi polar logic. I’d be annoyed if you were asking too many questions when it’s that simple -

it’s a big jump from the last guy to be tops but it’s still like 2/3 of what qbs are making and in line with top pass rushers. if considering LT the elite position it long was, it’s not that far out of line with some benchmarks you’d expect around a roster despite being likely a bigger jump than expected in his own position group. -
Has anybody? I grow skeptical of this alleged mrs bandit

RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
NoSaint replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yea mentioned it in another thread but I wonder if they weighted these guys higher due to things like their football family and relatively high floors. You hand epenesa a playbook and workout plan and I’m guessing it’s a safe bet his dad whips him into shape even if you can’t get hands on him til August potentially. more likely to contribute this year but maybe not be the pro bowler in 3 years -
Right but at this point that guy is talking about who makes the 53 not who gets reps. It’ll be a battle at DL I suspect grabbing two guys with high floors and major football families ties into the offseason program getting wrecked. Epenesa isn’t sexy but you know he’s going to be well coached and trained if you hand him an offseason regimen to do on his own

RD 3, Pick 86: RB Zach Moss, University of Utah

I know it’s crazy as a bills fan to go past are we functional to discussing are we fully optimal that’s all I was doing. We added good players and we should function. I think in a dream roster we have a bit more speed but it doesn’t mean we aren’t a functioning group. -

Each are good adds. Diggs should be a game changer. I think we are clearly a better team adding solid contributions into 2 holes tonight. I think that generally fans were hoping for a guy that could score from anywhere or create turnovers on any play and instead got 2 steady role players that take air out of the ball and reduce plays in a game instead. -

we still don’t have breakaway speed. You know, the area everyone was discussing. we won’t be the track meet team, but have talent across the board. Would’ve been nice to get faster on offense still though. -

shocked? No. Unhappy? No. Surprised? Yes. I think they will want a little experience in the room based on what we’ve seen of their culture building. I doubt we end up with singletary, 2 rookies, and a rugby player in the building week 1 even if it’s our most talented option. -

Yea adding a 4.65 to a 4.66 isn’t exactly the thunder and lightning pair some are portraying. breakaway speed isn’t what I’d call our strength or what they have targeted. -

I don’t know moss well, and our judgement on weapons for a modern offense hasn’t been ultra reliable but we needed a viable rb2 tonight and feels like he makes us better -

Some teams utilize more than 3 WRs these days. It wouldn’t have been unreasonable or a wasted pick. May as well say he’s our 4th DE. It’s a position where guys get lots of reps. -

Around these parts he will likely be a horrible Harry type. Likely solid player, easy to cheer for but likely not a game changer and his reputation will outpace his play a bit... that’s not to say he won’t be a solid addition. -

No he said he was disappointed that was the extent of the upside, not that he thought that’s what he actually will be -

if the thought is top qbs around 40m per within a year or so is a LT at 22 really an insane aberration for long?
