Ready to kneel at the 35 instead of pressing for points? -

this. i don’t doubt we win a dozen games but this is the same team, same organization…. We will need great luck to break through despite having perhaps the greatest qb in the history of the league. -

All we have is Brady misdirection. We can’t go around them or through them… just hoping scheme tricks them. -

I’ll give Keon credit- that was much friendly than Gabe Davis in that role. Found a hole and gave a good target -

That play was Gilliam, Ty Johnson, and a 6th lineman? who was at wr? what a package -

This is always a bad matchup… Baltimore is both bigger and faster pretty consistently. The biggest opportunity is Josh playing perfect and Lamar making mistakes…. But otherwise very hard to win when you can’t beat them to a spot or knock them off the spot -

yup- linebacker got washed, Rapp was way outside and bishop got to take Henry 1-1 in the open field with no support. really rough ask for bishop -

Rapp seemed to way over pursue on that run too -
The young Kelly didn’t get his Canadian logos?
-
The Steelers were better with fields than Wilson last year. He was 4-2
-
I hope they win 6 games a year off his guts and guile and can never get the right qb.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
NoSaint replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
being a smaller and agile guy, he likely avoids more direct hits too. some balance that a guy like Keon is probably easier to hit squarely, even if he absorbs hits a little better. -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

it’s the proverbial qb under 6’2, OT with short arms, etc… it’s not impossible to do but there’s a reason that despite fast 170 lbs guys being a more common body type, there’s more fast 210 lbs guys at wr in the nfl that said, it’s not a deal breaker either and it’s silly to think he’s going to wilt every time he’s touched and can’t do things to minimize the biggest hits -
3) travel conditions continue to improve and be optimized. When to move the team, how to manage being away, things they bring, etc… is all much more data driven than dollar driven 4) teams have learned ways to better deal with noise. 5) visiting team conditions are much improved since the 1970s. They might not be quite as nice as home facilities but they aren’t using the janitors chemical closet as the visiting locker room, with the heat turned off id be curious how the data skews as I bet the 70-80s was much harder travel than 2020. What’s Allen excluding say the chiefs, and his rookie season?

The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
NoSaint replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
would it be more upsetting to lose to the chiefs again, or have the chiefs fall and the chargers win? I don’t know. I’m just tired of losing and know whoever we play in late January would be very good and that’s been a problem. the teams coming out of the west all have something in common- coaches that got to the Super Bowl. Likewise, the ravens. it’s a tough road and the chiefs falling doesn’t mean it’s much easier honestly, week 1 divisional games can be wild. I wouldn’t bet on any of them. -
I feel like you are just saying he’s more chaotic while Allen knows he’s strengths and still plays to them even when things breakdown That’s so incredibly early for Daniels right now it’s Josh as a clear 1 as most complete qb in the league (very likely in league history). It has long been my issue with reconciling my confidence in that fact with also justifying that both beane and McDermott deserve ongoing chances. With perhaps the greatest qb in the history of the game - how are there no Super Bowl appearances? Either there’s an issue in team construction, or game day strategy.

I think the ravens are an easy favorite on paper, but I think this matchup is one that shows that on paper isn’t always the key metric. fingers crossed a healthy Bernard, Milano, Oliver, bosa, Rousseau can really impact Lamar.

because last years team drastically overachieved and this one is more likely to play close to that level but not above it? also 2024 draft class isn’t inspiring many around here and Hairston is dinged up. amari, vonn and rasul weren’t big losses. Palmer, bosa/hoecht, and Hairston likely all better. Hopefully one of Keon/bishop take a step forward. That said, last year overall was very healthy and mostly good bounces
