  1. Exactly. I don't know if you saw this on Bills Mafia but it backs up what you are thinking: Bills fans are particularly adept at spotting emotional incongruence, and calling players out when they see it. The reason we love Jim Kelly is that when he was playing, he was one of the most emotionally congruent players we ever saw in a Bills uniform. He bled the red, white and blue. There was no question about his disappointment when he did not play well, and he was blunt about his own performance, and even about his teammates at times. In contrast, you can see the fan base turning against Manuel already in part because the seeds of distrust have already been sown when he repeatedly refuses to authentically own his mistakes. He seems to be a man who blocks out obvious problems to the point where fans don’t have a real GPS coordinate on him as a person.
  2. I know there is a pony in there somewhere!!!!
  3. Exactly, if you saw that game you saw him run, pass on the run, evade pressure all with successful completions...
  4. I hope we get Matt Barkley... http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2014/8/30/6086877/matt-barkley-trade-rumors-philadelphia-eagles-quarterback-trade-block
  5. The Bills front office is clueless.. In so far as it took them this freaken long to make the changes at QB...
  6. This is absolutely the problem. All pre-season its been EJ, EJ, EJ.... we are giving him every tool to succeed, we are giving him this, that, whatever. What the coaches and staff have not done is give him competition. A key part to every plan is backup. What happens if EJ doesn't pan out? Who is there to compete for his job?
  7. I can not believe they played him in this last preseason game. idiots...
  8. They haven't shown anything because he lost the damn playbook. I bet its under his bed.
  9. As much as I despise Pete Carroll for the nonsense he pulled at USC, I am in.
  10. The guy I would focus on is Matt Barkley in Philly. Having seen him in his USC days I feel he has good decision making ability. If it was not for his injury in his senior year he would have gone a lot higher than the 4th round. http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2014/08/matt_barkley_or_gj_kinne_who_is_better_suited_to_be_eagles_third-string_quarterback.html
  11. This is a good list of available quarterbacks but what about others that might be available on trade? For example Matt Barkley in Philly?
  12. Why not Tebow? He went to college in Florida. He's played for the Jets. He been with New England. Hey we are the only part of the AFC east he hasn't visited!
  13. I am in on a winning season. All I know is that my work week is a hell of a lot more productive after a Bill's victory on the weekend.
  14. I have to say that this news surprises me. Especially since the 49er's are his home team. I would think he would be making more of an effort.
  15. I know football season is around the bend when my Direct TV bill increases...
  16. EBall I love your analysis. However I remain concerned that we fall apart in the Red zone. I am also worried that EJ is not capable of throwing a ball on the run.
  17. I would love to see us give Tebow a shot. At this point there can only be upside..
  18. Yoga and Brazilian Jujitsu... If that is his prep maybe others should try it...
