  1. Sounds like Moulds was good at catching more than footballs
  2. Agree, LaPorta another weapon to defend. Was trying to focus on our CB matchups and potential for a 3rd LB. Won’t Milano or Bernard primarily be covering LaPorta? Or maybe this is where Lewis Cine as a big nickel is forced into more action?
  3. Who knows, although I suspect McD will first want to see the Lions beat his base defense, which Detroit will probably run all over it until we make any adjustments later in the 1st half. Then McD & Babich will make whatever adjustments they have in mind. A reactionary approach like we typically see, rather than something proactive. I wonder if they could have Taron shadow St. Brown, Benford follow Williams, and if no other WRs on the field, mix out Elam/Ingram in favor of a 3rd LB in Dorian. This way we’ve got more run support while keeping our best CBs on the field. For those that understand the X’s and O’s better than I, would something like this be feasible?
  4. Hey man, just wanted to give you props for calling your shot here. Got the 5 wins in a row, and then some!
  5. Agree, I’d be shocked if AJE is released, they already will have enough holes to fill. They just resigned him last offseason and he’s continued to be exactly what they should have expected. Would not be surprised if the Bills move on from Miller, Jones, and Douglas. I think they should prioritize resigning guys like Benford and Bernard first. Try to fortify the DL in free agency, MAYBE resign Douglas at that point if a reasonable deal can be worked out. Then further fortify DL in the draft, along with CB and potentially safety. But I also want the Bills to draft a WR in the early rounds as well, just to get Josh another weapon.
  6. Yes, last thing he does after saying good night to Hailee and going to bed 😎 Don’t know, but if a wrestling match between coaches occurs, McD is confident he can take Campbell.
  7. Should be hunkered down watching tape, getting ready for Sunday! j/k
  8. Listening to these two interviews and considering everything else, I’d actually put my money on Ingram being the planned starter this week rather than Elam. Like you’re saying, seems like Elam knows his time here is pretty much up and he’s just biding his time now. We’ll see.
  9. I will tell you, even Sal Capaccio could have returned that one for a pick 6.
  10. Elam must not “practice” hard enough Hoping he gets the nod and proves coach wrong
  11. What’s wrong with that?
  12. Must get this thread to 100 pages first, let’s go!
  13. Plus better than getting an INT in the stats.
  14. Kupp:
  15. And lack of CMC also contributes. A joke that Purdy was in MVP conversation at one point last year.
  16. Oh yea, some of the voters are already saying it’s Josh’s “unless Saquon breaks the rushing record”. Well, Saquon likely will break the record bc his last three games are against trash running defenses. Which means if Josh is going to win MVP, he needs to not give any reasons otherwise these last four weeks.
  17. If Douglas, Rapp, and Hamlin all miss the game, thinking our starting secondary will be Benford, Elam, Johnson, Lewis & Bishop?
  18. Right, while Chase had a really good week, receivers put up those numbers all the time in the NFL. Josh put up some numbers only seen once before.
  19. Hailee ain’t no Rachel Bush. In fact, I give Hailee at least some of the credit for Josh having his clearest mind ever now!
  20. Josh only scored 6 TDs in a manner that’d been done once 70 years ago. Like Josh said, needed to do more. /s Ridiculous.
  21. Agree. The way that Goff could get it in my mind is if Goff somehow outplays Josh this weekend, those odds will come down from like 13/1 to 7/1. And then if Lions finish 16-1 and Bills somehow lose one of last three or worse, Josh maybe loses support in favor of Barkley or Goff. The chance of all of that happening is probably fairly low, hence the current odds on Goff.
  22. If the Bills go 12-5 or worse, I’d be concerned the door opens up enough for Barkley or Goff to win. Aside from stats, the MVP voters put a huge emphasis on wins. Hence Lamar beating out Josh last season, or why Burrow isn’t in the MVP mix this year in spite of his amazing stats. We can probably lose to the Lions and Josh still win it, so long as the Bills handle the rest of their business. If Josh is rested in Week 18 bc we’ve wrapped up the 2 seed and we lose to finish 12-5, that might be a scenario where voters would give him a pass. As someone with money on Josh and who loves the Bills, I’d really like a win against the Lions this weekend. Don’t see how they’d finish worse than 13-4 then, would knock Goff out of consideration, and would keep them in the 1 seed race.
  23. Plus, if Allen doesn’t win MVP at this point, it’d likely be because we have additional losses down the stretch, which I don’t think Josh or anyone here wants.
