Care to offer your opinion on Edwards as QB next year
Beebe's Kid replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not afraid of him at all. I would just rather not waste a roster spot on this nutless piece of ****, that doesn't care about this football team. That's all. It would be incorrect to ever assume me, or anybody else for that matter, is afraid of Trent Edwards. -
Polian Blames Superbowl Loss....
Beebe's Kid replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not that I want to argue the OL/QB thing, although I actually agree with Ice on this one. I do want to say that they lost the Super Bowl...and as bad as I used to think that was, it feel pretty good right not to be rooting for a team that good again. -
Classic. As is almost anything that comes out of his mouth. Easily the best character on South Park.

Not that there is anything wrong with being gay...but the heterosexual male doesn't own an outfit. However, having Randy Marsh as your avatar is !@#$ing awesome.

So, the fact that Whitner was hit with a taser, after squaring up to fight a cop last year, might lend some merit to the Washington rumors? As far as Lynch is concerned, a second is a big stretch, but a 3rd or lower makes no sense. Be much better off keeping him. I ma a Lynch fan, and hope that he can turn it around.

I am shocked at the overwhelming support for a dome. The games I have been to in the snow where the best. The fans were extra pumped, and the atmosphere was electric. It is cold, but that is part of the fun. Going inside to watch a football game would just feel wrong. A Super Bowl in Buffalo? That would be good for the area. I thought the NFL was going to start playing the Super Bowl in colder climate stadiums, without domes. I can't remember where I heard that, but I thought there was some strong consideration for doing so. Also, even if the game is inside, there is still the possibility of some inclement weather outside...or more like a 75% chance. A new stadium would be cool, I guess I would just prefer some massive renovations to RWS, but I am a little bit sentimental like that, but I am not down with a dome.

this was very helpful for me
Beebe's Kid replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh no! Not another Pro-Bowl!! Not busting chops about the last years schedule, I just thought that was funny. Good idea. -
ERRRRRRRRRRRRR! I don't like that call.

how did Floyd Little make the HOF??
Beebe's Kid replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HOF voting is terrible. I was hearing things like "too many WR's in the class" That is horseshit. If they were the best players in the class they should be in the HOF. Reed should be in. I think he and Chris Carter deserved 100x more than a couple of the guys in this class. They were dominant at their positions, it is not really their fault they were on the same ballot... -
I am glad that the posters here are about as far away from this decision as possible. That is purely based out of my personal dislike for the Foo-Fighters and the Goo-Goo-Dolls. The Who were a terrible pick. It was way past their bed times. I am a Who fan. It was almost sad to see that. I agree with the proposition of shortening the half-time.

Report: Bills one of 3 going for McNabb
Beebe's Kid replied to shaker4187's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All of them...every painful minute. I have to agree that the line should look good this year, with the addition of an LT. I was impressed with Incognito in his brief stint here. I feel that keeping him at RG and putting Wood at C is a great move. Levitre was impressive all year long, and Butler can play RT, if he can stay on the field. All great lines start somewhere, and I think we have a great line in the making. Levitre and Wood gained a lot of valuable experience, and if you add Incognito and Butler, that is a very young, very solid line. The only thing missing is the all-important LT. McNabb allows us to get an LT in Rd 1. I still want McClain, but I think an LT would be better for the franchise in the long-run. -
I sympathize. I was doing the same thing, but those guys will just drag you down. WGR is trash.

Goodell says ban on 3-point stance is possible
Beebe's Kid replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. I think it is hilarious that they always talk about how much bigger and stronger the players are today...why is that? I am sure it's not the steroids!! These guys are freaks of nature. If you want players to stop getting concussed...stop letting them take steroids. If you think they don't, you are fooling yourself. I remember seeing a poll a while back, and like 80% of fans though baseball had a steroid problem, and football was around 15% or so...that is rich. -
Four linebackers for next year
Beebe's Kid replied to bananathumb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schobel is done...he isn't really interested in playing, let alone switching positions. Maybin is like Paup...only half as strong, and no where near as smart. Poz is the best of the bunch, and Mitchell has somehow slipped to below average in the fans' minds, must be because after being all over the place, he was injured. These two can play. I like McClain at #9, but obviously all of this speculation is worth ****, since we have no clue how FA will play out. That is going to dictate the draft...100%. -
Yeah... I mean, at 23, this guy has had it. I mean I know I never made any poor decisions when I was 23. Half of the people here were riding Beast Mode nuts a year ago...now everybody has had it with Lynch, and all of his antics, which are blown out of proportion (minus gun incident.) We could trade him, or release him or any of the other brilliant ideas suggested by the intolerant, short sighted, fickle posters on here... but the good news is we have a good GM, and assessing the situation will probably not decide to create another hole on a team that has too many to begin with. I like the one-year-wonder thing, too. He ran for over 1,000 yards his first two seasons...he, also showed dramatic improvement the second half of the year. He added weight in the off-season, which clearly didn't work for him. 5 will get you 10 he drops about 15 lbs this off-season, and if a monster next year. A 30 year old back, with no back up...so we draft a replacement? The best answer to that was Spiller at #9, WTF??? Yeah, forget the LT/QB/LB debate...let's draft a !@#$ing RB at #9...and a CB in Rnd 2. I don't know if Lynch did something personally to half of you, or what, but he is a talented back. He is experiencing some growing pains, which I'm sure you never did. He also, just so happens, to fit Gailey's ideal offensive plan to a T. So, a 7th rounder for him should suffice, right? It's no wonder he is a jerk to people when they harass him at the mall...

Hunter was great, but this LaDarius cat is obviously way more intelligent than any of you mere mortals. Wow, it is a shame you can't get a good feel on tone on the interweb. If you take yourself as seriously as you posts suggest, I feel extremely sorry for you. I hope this is a "shock factor" thing you have going on here. That clearly works for you, as the board is pretty irate with you, but if you are serious, I hope you realize that you are not that important one day. In the meantime, sorry for letting you down. I did watch every game, and I though Levitre was admirable, and Wood was definitely progressing well, until the injury. I don't care for Hangman, and I would slide Wood to C, his natural position, and keep Incognito at G. I am sure he is no where near the talent level of Duke's OG, but I thought he played very well in the games he was here. I also like Butler, but relying on his health is not a safe bet. I wouldn't draft an LT at #9, but I am not a pro. I would pay to get a vet there, if available.

Kelly would look fine behind our offensive line. I wouldn't say you don't improve it, but we would have been a playoff team this year with Jimbo throwing the ball. Jim could move surprisingly well, and was able to take a hit. My answers have to be Jim and Bruce, and I don' t see how it could have been anybody else. I would consider Talley long and hard, just for his leadership. His play was awesome, but there is a reason that all of the HOF Bills from that era mentioned him in their HOF speeches. On offense there is may great players, but Kelly is the only one I choose. Peyton credits Kelly for his ability to run the offense in Indy. That is some pretty high praise. Our K-Gun offense was amazing. What I wouldn't give to be that excited watching this team play again...

Nix Gets Nice Slam On "Whitey"....
Beebe's Kid replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People didn't like Brandon because he was marketing guy, not a football guy. We get a football guy and the same people don't like him because he is not a marketing guy. Nix probably doesn't give two dick shakes about Gregg Williams. He is a guy that deals with a "body of work" that pertains to players and coaches alike. To say that he is a crass, classless individual is laughable. He has a southern accent. He is 70 years old, and nobody tells him how to party. This guy is not an idiot. Is he classless because he put the pants on Sully? This guy has a mess of a franchise to rebuild. I am sure he knows what the media says about the Bills and about him, and was sure how the Gailey hire would go over, and he is not going to play grab-ass with that negative !@#$ Sully...good for him. Time will tell. -
Don't count out Trent Edwards
Beebe's Kid replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I haven't stuck up for TE in a very long time. For some reason when I read your post, I was asking, why the hell did AVP have WRs running 40 yard sideline streaks every play? It seemed like Lee and TO were always taking off straight up the sidelines. Any pressure at all and that route is trash...which I thing teams proved against us week in and week out. My issue with TE is his mental toughness and commitment to the Bills. I really feel he quit on us in Tennessee. I don't think his heart is in it. I know it's been hard, and maybe Gailey will be the infusion he needs to relight the fire. I really don't know what we are going to do. I am going to put my faith in Nix/Gailey to make the right decision. It is easy to get all worked up and say trade for this guy, or draft that guy, but really McClain would be an amazing addition if we could solve the QB position outside of the draft. In house, which I would prefer Brohm, would be even better, allowing us to have a stronger team. I would love McNabb...not too crazy about Vick, or Tebow. Man, it seems like this is dragging on forever!!! -
Sounds like a new avatar to me!!

What do you say if it proves to be false? I am not defending an athlete, but look at the situation with Marshawn, a few weeks back. Some woman gives him here number and the husband is a cop, they file a report, and the fans want him hung...two days later the rest of the story shows up on the back page, but he's already been to the gallows. There are false accusations thrown at these guys all the time. It is easy to believe they did it, and they stand to gain a lot of money. What have they got to lose? In the case it is true, this poor woman has been through a lot already, and now has to have it made public. If it's not true...she is the kind of person that would file a false report that potentially causes irreversible damage to somebody, plus gets on TV...she doesn't lose, as she would be big on character anyway. Either way, I guess, maybe before we sentence him to death, we should hear the facts.

Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson ?
Beebe's Kid replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like we are not the only team with serious problems at QB. How about Fitz and TE vs BQ and DA in a steel cage match. -
I like Whitner, but if he gets us McNabb, bon voyage. I think he is ready to make a big impact, but I know McNabb already does. i am not crazy about trading Lynch. Gailey likes to pound the ball...I would hate to see Freddy break down trying to carry it 25 times a game for the whole season. Lynch is a perfect compliment, if he gets his head out of his ass. Chester Taylor is good on Madden, but he isn't the back that Lynch is. Lynch is 23. Taylor is 30. Lynch, when not suspended or 25 lbs overweight, is a extremely gifted runner. With a little actual coaching he would be an elite back. He needs to quit running drunk broads over, hitting on cop's wives, and stealing $20 from that poor poor fan that came up to him in the food court at the mall and wanted his autograph for his bachelor party, and play football, donate to charity, and be a contributing member of the community.
