Who agrees with the statement by Peter King?
Beebe's Kid replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a classic thread... Not that all of the traits aren't important, and "great" means that you can do all of the things mentioned at an uncommonly high level. However...all of the things mentioned are for naught if you can not throw the football where it needs to go. You could read the D...inspire the hell out of everybody, but if you can't get the ball where it needs to go, you fail. Fitzy is a good example. He is smart, the made plays with his feet when the **** hit the fan. The guys seemed to like playing with him. He threw the ball downfield, etc... he just couldn't really throw a football, or at least thrown one accurately. -
Goose Gosselin's weekly NFL ranking

This is the best thing to ever come out of Dallas!! I like people talking about how pitiful we are though...it will give it a "Major League" feel when we shove it up their asses. Oh, but the Skins have McNabb and Shanny. The Lions also blew their wad of FA signings...there is no way we could ever be better than them. -

Cornell Green on his way to the locker room
Beebe's Kid replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Somebody needs to take some Mydol, grab the heating pack, and throw on some Lifetime. Please step away from the computer... OP, thanks for the update. -
I know the Brohm thing is touchy for both advocates and opponents, but what has his problem been? I haven't really heard what his issues are. I have heard some good things...like fitting balls into small windows, and placing it where the receiver could go get it, anticipating moves, etc. Those all sound like things that I would be happy with in a QB. Trent checking down may be alright, if he is checking down to Spiller, all of the sudden defenses have to ease up on the blitz, allowing some receivers to get open, and let's face it, not all secondaries are as good as ours (woot.)

I am sado-masochistic. I listen to them quite a bit. I live in Erie, so I listen online, or on the iPhone. The comments about them and the Sabres are not true...they are hard on them, as well. They are exceptionally hard on the Bills, but they are into the negative is funny schtick. Schopp reports anything regarding the Bills as completely irrelevant, and while Bulldog likes the Bills, he isn't really educated, or is scared to get into it, because Schopp is so negative. I am shocked how uneducated they are about the team that is one of two major sports teams they need to cover. Their draft coverage was asinine, they were way behind on the coaching search, they don't even know who is competing for what. I think one problem is they have not inside information from OBD. What other stations cover the Bills? I would love to catch some real news one of these days.

Jared Gaither battles health problems
Beebe's Kid replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The first thing that one should consider is what he/she doesn't know. That is confusing for some, but very important. It is ok, if you can on the board screaming to "Get it done, Buddy!" That's fine. You didn't have all of the information, which leads all of the experts to say Nix is an idiot, and on and on. They didn't consider there was more to the story, other than the fact that they heard he was available, so they figured that their knee-jerk should be Buddy's. The facts start to roll in, and then you have to stick up for what you were screaming for a week ago. Obviously nobody would want to trade value for "damaged goods," but the people screaming for a trade didn't even consider it. They just called everybody in the FO out for failing them again. It's ok. You can do what you do, and there's no harm in it. It is just a good thing you don't call the shots for the team, and that the people that do, are armed with facts, or leery of what they aren't being told or don't know. -
Buddy's first BIG mistakeS
Beebe's Kid replied to John Cocktosten's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow...feeling a little punchy today, huh, gang? Schobel was the pink elephant. Read Nevergiveups posts concerning Schobel. NGU obviously is a reliable source, and he had no flattering words for AS. All of the nut-riding fans that go on about his sacks, never get into how he looked to give minimum effort 75% of the time. As insanely savvy as most message board posters are, Nix has proven to be dumb like a fox. I would be willing to bet that Nix didn't want Schobel, but you do have to show a certain amount of respect because he is a long-tenured vet on the team. You can't trash all veterans, or having veterans is a problem you will never have to be concerned with. This is what was going to happen to Schobel, and to act like you could have pulled off a trade is amusing. Nix handled this the right way, and the missing blame in the CJ contract fiasco, is the agents. Nix isn't sitting face to face with CJ. He is a smart guy and I'm sure the offer is fair. The agents think they can get more for their client, which raises their value, both in the bank and as agents. Think about it. It's a negotiation, and the agents have the player, they are playing hardball, thinking they hold all of the cards. It is still too soon to get all worked up about Spiller, this is why there isn't more talk. Trust me, if this carries on, we'll get an idea of what is going real soon. -
Dude, cash grabs?? That is a harsh! Rocky 3 is the one with Mr. T, aka Clubber Lang. It delivered the classic: "What's you prediction for the fight?" "Pain." line. Rocky 4 with Ivan Drago? The fall of Apollo? Come on, man, those were good movies. Spiller signing or not signing will not hinge on Twitter. I do think it is classic fans would act like "if they are great, they'll leave..." Boo-!@#$ing-Hoo! We have not resigned many of the greats after their best days were behind them. The great players played the majority of their careers here. The people that have left, although some where good, I don't consider too many of them great.

BGIOP's Training Camp Report (8/3)
Beebe's Kid replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, if nothing else, we'll get a suitable replacement for Schobel's production. Big sack one game, not there the next, but as long as he gets double-digits on the year, he should be a legend, right? Oooh...I forgot he was black...looks like he'll have to step it up. -
!@#$ing right! Bravo!!!

He'll be back...for sure. He's already made comments about a rematch with the Saints week one...for sure.

Ralph is so cheap that he spends more money than a lot of other owners to cover it up. These genius conspiracy theorists are amazing...from deep within the confines of their mother's basement they concoct these theories of Ralph's penny-pinching, right before they go did their mom's change jar, for a little coin to go buy a Slushee at he Circle K. Then hurry back to continue bashing RW for not just giving Spiller, who's agents are said to be over-slotting his guaranteed money, whatever they ask for. Everybody acts like the contract is so simple. You don't think that the writing was on the wall when Spiller made his comments last week? Players want guaranteed money, in case no CBA is reached, and the owners don't, for the same reason. It is not rocket science. CJ's agents are trying to earn a little scratch for themselves, and if they get the guaranteed money, agent and player win. Everybody goes off of the "slotting," which is a point of contention, and may be gone come the time the next draft class signs. Slotting is easy if everybody plays along, if Spiller's agents want him to be "over-slotted" I would be disappointed if the Bills just signed on the dotted line. That is setting dangerous precedent. I know, I know that stuff doesn't matter when you just want to argue the debunked myth that Ralph is cheap...as you were.

Wow... You put yourself out there like that? With no information that Spiller and his agents were going to work for the best deal, and weren't scared of a holdout? You are amazing. The funniest part about this, is you were serious. I am sure that Ralph, Russ, and Buddy probably have been stalling the negotiations, as just to prove you right, AGAIN! It is hard to stay humble with people always proving you right, I am sure, but you do such a good job. You go, girl!!!
-
It's a conspiracy man!! Thurman's goat won't even let Levy in the same room with them. All they want to do is sign but Russ is Satan and Nix and Gailey are dressed up like Boss-Hog and Roscoe Peco Train, and are taking their third afternoon nap. Did you ever consider that this is bigger than you think? You think the conspiracy is against all Bills fans...but it could be just about you... Maybe they are watching you, and they are secretly destroying your life, one player at a time. It is funny there is so many things that people really do to !@#$ with our lives, and you think the FO is playing games with Spiller's deal. You dumb ****, they DRAFTED HIM BECAUSE THEY WANT HIM ON THIS TEAM. In other news there is no middle class, there is 16 Billion per month spent on two fake wars, health-care is a travesty, and we know what you are really doing, Buddy Nix!!! You're right. You know with all the evidence to the contrary, based on the facts, you can't be fooled.

Take a Mydol, grab the heating pack and watch some Lifetime. Not that there is anything wrong with that! Multi-googleplex?? Damn the man! Propaganda is right!!! I won't even click on a link to "the man" unless I have my Noam Chomsky handy and some Rage playing. !@#$ YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME, CHRIS BROWN!!! Get an iPhone. Go Brohm. This is the first of many good days. The pads have been on less than a week, and the TE's reign at the top is coming to an end. Brohm will be awesome, until we sign Colt Brennan!!

Perry Fewell Doing Well With The Giants
Beebe's Kid replied to Mr. ChumChums's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked the energy Fewell brought to our team... I don't think it was a secret that he is a good motivator. He is even a good DC in my opinion... He's not Chan Gailey, and he would never have been brought back in any capacity other than HC. I wish him luck, and, who knows? Maybe with a few more years, and some tutelage under his star-crossed, long-distance-lover, Coughlin, he will be good HC some day. Best of luck to you Perry, thanks for the mammories. -
Interesting Quote from Chan...
Beebe's Kid replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is of little significance when you are going to bang the LT drum... There are options, and if they were as bad as many posters have read in a forum, and subsequently turned into gospel, then Nix would have addressed it by now. That is also assuming that LT is as important as so many message-board-GMs tend to make it. There are plenty of LTs in the league, on good teams, that came from places other that a big trade or a #1 pick. -
Well, Someone like's the Bills at least

Bill Brasky is a son of a B word. I hate Bill Brasky, but I respect him. -
Yeah...the second NE game it's like Wilfork wasn't even on the field. Wait...he wasn't. Hangartner did such a good job that VW didn't even get on the field.
