  1. I see every Bills games. Though I don't live in Bufalo anymore they are still my team. Whitner clearly was not worth the 8 pick in the draft, he is very average and he is expendable. Lets get draft picks for him....he is a better safety than Campbell is a QB...by far.
  2. I'm a Redskin season ticket holder. This guys is not capable...think Rob Johnson. Most of his yards came when the game was already over...don't let stats fool you. No pocket awareness Bad accuracy Consistanly turns the ball over Can't read defenses Bad football smarts Always misses open receivers Bad move for the Bills if this happens.
  3. +1 Campbell is a bum. If this deal is made Nix and Gailey have proven to be bums as well. We should only get people that can help the team. I would much rather see Whitner traded for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. let alone giving an additional pick to Washington for Campbell???? It would be the dumbest deal we could make. Unless we could package Campbell in a future deal.
  4. Campbell is in the same boat as Fitz and TE. He reminds me so much of Rob Johnson. Did the skins have the worst OL in 2007 and 2008 because he sucked then as well. He has been bad for years. Don't care what offense you run you still have to see open receivers and read defenses. He just can not do it. He would make a solid back up but he isn't a starter.
  5. I wouldn't mind seeing the Bills trade down for more picks. Moving up and losing picks I don't agree with. Dealing Marshawn would create another need. We have too many needs as is. Jackson is 30, look for him to experience some injuries as most older RB's do. The Redskins are considering drafting a safety (Berry) very high. They are dissatisfied with the present group. There is a Whitner trade opportunity here. Not sure what they would be willing to give up. I would offer Whitner and a 6 for a 2 rounder. Along with trading down this could potentially give us three 2nd round picks.
  6. A younger Ray Lewis. His influence is felt all through the Ravens defense. He would toughen up the softies we presently have at LB.
  7. It is funny but I have to agree as well. We have made excuses for years regarding various players for not getting the job done. The fact of the matter is they are excuses for poor play. Maybe we should start a thread on the all excuse team.
  8. You're correct we don't know this guy but I notice he is writing for the Hamburg Sun. Not for the NY Times, Washington Post or any of the top 50 newspapers in the US. The fact that we don't know him should make him think twice before before putting out an article that identifies himself as a dysfunctional fan. A bad article does not bring into question his moral fiber or integrity. This article was silly....get over it.
  9. I'm sorry but I just can't take anything in the Hamburg Sun too serious. They are much more credible when covering flea markets and high school field hockey tourneys. We clearly aren't a great team but we are hardly the most disfunctional.
  10. Lets look at the resume - Has has taken the Rams from being the greatest show on earth to the sorry offensive team they are now. - He is a poor QB and anyone would be foolish to look at him as anything more than a back up. - Couldn't win with Bruce and Holt as receivers - No chance of leading a team to the Superbowl. - Has led the Rams to be the worst team in the league Git'er Done Buddy
  11. No. I noticed you have Hangartner as the odd man out. I agree with this. The off season needs to bring us 2 OT's and a G. Not sure if Incognito is the right person for a guard spot he may be. Butler has not proven to be a solid T. Levitre will get blown away at the OT position. He was only average at the G position but since he was a rookie I expect to see more upside. Everyone is worth keeping since we need depth.
  12. - I don't see anyone making a deal on a player that is looking to retire (Schobel). I don't think Houston is that stupid. - Drafting another Penn Stater early? Have we had so much success with Poz and Maybin that we are willing to go to that well again? I hope we aren't that stupid. - SF trading down to get the 3rd OT in the draft. When they have other needs. Why give up a draft pick?
  13. When I sit in Fed Ex field I clearly have not seen the improvement you are speaking of. If we are going to compare stats, we need to have stats for - missed open receivers - misreading defenses - stupid throws - games unable to lead your team to touchdowns - games unable to score 30 points - yards thrown for after the game was out of hand...touchdowns as well. - win and loss %. - lack of respect from team mates. - why Todd Collins always plays better when he is in the game. I would take Fitz over Campbell any day. Fitz reads the field much better though not physically as gifted. Keep in mind the year when the Redskins went to the playoffs was when Campbell was injured and Collins replaced him and won the majority of the games to put them over the top. We are better off drafting or going for Matt Moore or Troy Smith. Campbell is a career back up at best. Think Rob Johnson.
  14. The fact of the matter is that Campbell's OL was decent his first 2 years as a starter. Campbell is Rob Johnson. He would be a solid back up. He has had to many chances to be a productive starter. It just not happening. He doesn't see the receivers or have a pocket presence (you can appreciate this more when you actually go the games). Takes him to long to grasp the offense and read defenses. His fans argue that they have had different offense while he was there and he needs more time under a consistant offense. Mean while Sanchez, Flacco, Ryan, and maybe Stafford to a point have no problem learning their offenses in a year. Never has been a winner in DC. No more than a sixth round for this guy.
  15. Very similar to what FDR did. This is when many stadiums were built to give people jobs. I believe the "Rockpile" may have been one of those projects.
  16. Because the Steelers went 15-1 Ben's rookie year. Where Bledsoe started that year. They didn't start JP until his 2nd year I believe.
  17. There's a reason why he was cut. He has bulging disc issues that made him miss 6 games. The Giants didn't feel he would be able to come back. He probably will have difficulty passing a physical. If he had value they would have traded him.
  18. Are you on South Park? Let's not try to hide your racial prejudices under the guise of a cartoon.
  19. I agree. My only real beef with Ralph is that he doesn't know how to pick good personel to steer the ship and recognize good personel when he sees it. I have no problem with him taking a game to Toronto for more money. I was in Baltimore when the press was very harsh toward Bob Irsay. Called him every name in the book. When Irsay moved the Colts to Indianapolis, those same members of the press where saying we couldn't care less. About 2 years later when the NFL showed no interest in bringing football back to Baltimore the same members of the press were boo hooing about not having football in Baltimore. It took them 16 years to get football back. They treat the owners quite differently now. The lesson there was "Don't bite the hand that gives you football". We may not be to crazy about some of the things RW does but we certainly don't want to go down the same path Baltimore went down.
  20. We have covered this ground before. Campbell sucks, but he is a great practice QB. He is the reason why Zorn got fired. As soon as the skins release him they will be a better team. His brain processes like a Pentium 2. It takes him a while to read defenses and see his receivers. Nice guy but mentally slow on the football field.
  21. Solid choices that can be taken later in the draft is Cam Thomas NC Lamarr Houston Texas I like Dan Williams but not sure if we can get a better value at 9 and then pick up Thomas or Houston in the 2nd or maybe the 3rd. All of these guys are more atheletic than Cody and can play 3 downs.
  22. Until they came out with Tommy, the who was the bubblegum of the British inavasion. They were known for their performances more so than the music. After Hendrix debut at Monterey their performances seemed light weight. In fact the Who refused to follow Hendrix at Monterey as they were originally planned for fear of being showed up, so they went on first. My Generation, Happy Jack and The Magic Bus weren't cutting edge as the songs the Beatles, Hendrix, Cream, Rolling Stones or even the Doors were putting out at the time. Their sound more rivaled the Monkees. When Tommy hit they took their music to the next level. But groups like Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Aerosmith, Zappa were surfacing and becoming the driving force of what was considered FM rock. I remember this era quite well...the Who was not one of the dominant bands, they were just another decent band.
  23. The Who sounded good for the Who but lets face it most young people probably didn't remember any of the songs they did unless they watch CSI. They weren't the primier supergroups of the time (Beatles, Stones, LZ, Hendrix) but indeed had a following because of the success of Tommy the rock opera. So why not dredge up Led Zepplin or Pink Floyd or the Police. Some one that actually kicked some butt back in the day. Some suggestions for next year. Frankie Avalon Bobby Rydell Freddie and the Dreamers The Zombies Hermans Hermits Tommy James and the Shondells 1910 Fruitgum Company The Grass Roots or last but not least the Dave Clark 5, 4, 3 ,2 , or 1 Where in the hell is Tiny Tim when you need him.
