Fraizer and McDermott great coaches
Olliemets replied to Billsforumsucks's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nit picking. They've come a long way. I cringe sometimes at the "Soft, bend don't break" D scemes. We've got some playmakers on D though. But I'd have taken the 3 points in the 2nd Quarter down close on 4th. What would Vince Lombardi Do? should be the mantra. In2Q take the points. Thought that would bite us in the ass today. Holding that Offense to 20 Pts is pretty impressive. But it all worked out...I'm still glowing. -

NFL Week #2 - 9/18/2022 - 2nd half thread Titans at Bills

Yes!! Please run and burn some clock -
Chiefs. Chargers, Titans for me. This Thursday should be interesting against LAC. Herbert and that Pass rushing D of Chargers are frightening but this is a franchise with a history of disappointment and shooting themselves in the foot in the Playoffs. Tenn still big physical punding bunch that are going to be coming in angry Monday night. Althought in their home field that had too many false starts. Thats going to be a bigger probem next Monday night. I like our chances but need to be ready. Really need to get that HF advantage throughout Playoffs.

Can thoroughly enjoy the weekend now LOL. These are not the old Bills. Coming out of 1rst half 10-10 I thought...here we go. Shooting ourselves in foot again. I thought we could easily be down by 10 before we got the ball back in 2nd half. Those stops were huge. Without the turnovers we could have hung 50 on the SB Champs in their building. Anyone miss Brian Daboll?

Would love to see renderings soon. From what I read 80% of the seats are covered, which is in line with Seattle's Stadium (Which I love). Roof over most everything but the field, and big sheltered concourses that won't funnel the wind through the stadium. If a similar design to the Seahawks home, I can see it being loud as hell.

Rogers Playoff failures knock him out of the top 5 in my book. As others have pointed out, he's a great thrower of the Football. But it seems that if things get difficult, he doesn't adapt and had no plan B Brady Unitis Graham Montana Staubach

I was there !!!! The game that made me a Bills Fan. Downstate guy who'd attended 2 previous games late 70s when in college. Even though weather wasn't great I was so into the scene, the fans, passion for the Bills, everything. Seeing Landry skulk off the field at the end of the game was great. No one can accuse you of being a Bandwagon guy when you jump on with a 2-14 team LOL. I had grown up a Jets fan and being originally from LI, was furious at the move to New Jersey from Shea and screwing of the LI Fan base who built the franchise. I've been all in with the Bills since. Pretty much have attended at least 1 game a year since Y2K.

I live downstate in Giant country. I feel it in my bones that Dabol is the wrong guy for this market. He doesn't have the Gravitas to deal with the media and very impatient fan base here. And Daniel Jones ain't Josh Allen (although some Big Blue fans cling to "Danny Dimes" and think he can be great) . I do wish they'd take Leslie Frazier. I think Flores might do better here.

Those losses to Jax and the Steelers really hurt us. This game in WNY and I think Bills come out on top.

Amazing. Had to be deflating to Mac and the Pats. Pure skill and a dash of luck. Not sure how pivotal it was as we scored 7 straight times. Like Taron's 100 yard pick six last year against Ravens, we never looked back after this.
-
Well......we did miss 2 Extra points🙄 I'll show myself out now.........

I like the starting over in Miami I suppose. I think his team played hard and the D was pretty good. They did beat up on some bad teams over that winning streak, but also beat a good Pats team twice. Probably a better DC than HC. Like many coordinators. I live downstate. Can see him in conversation for Giants job if they fire Judge (and they should)

Disappointing. But can't not take points there -
He played decently in the playoff last year as well after we knocked Lamar out. Someone will sign him

Keep thinking this is a playoff game...but Ravens Steelers could end up in a tie. Don't even want to try to figure out what happens then.

Pass. The guy NEVER plays. Always hurt. -
I like the Seattle Stadium a lot. Roofed over most of the seats except for the playing field and end zones. Great Lines with the cantilevered upper deck which puts spectators closer to the field. Seats 65K+. Loud as hell. Big concourses that are shut to the weather. Not much end zone seating. If Open air is the plan. I hope it's similar.
-
I was in upper deck at that end and saw that kick just die. First we thought it was a trick play...then looked at the flags at that end of the Stadium. I've never seen a ball just punched out of the air by the wind like that.

I picked Raiders, as I'm sick of the Pats. They do have a little magic going right now so no slam dunk. With Pats it's the Bill Bellyache factor. We out talent them at the QB slot but he's a HOF coach and it would be humiliating to lose to them. Although I'd be ecstatic if we beat them in playoffs. I'll take my chance with the Raiders.
