  1. I remember the first day of NHL Free agency in October. With a few exceptions, free Agents were signing quickly for short deals way belowall over the league. After a few days it was clear guys wanted a chair before the music stopped and they were frozen out. In hockey at least some mid level Europeans can return home as there are other leagues I can see a similar situation this year in the NFL. Also think Bills can be an attractive destination for a player looking to get a ring, something we aren't used to.
  2. I agree. Its not Sunday school. But I don't like the Chiefs. Sunday reminded me a bit too much of Pete Carrols SB Seahawks. Don't care for their cocky attitude. Sue me. I hope Tampa beats them, although I doubt that will happen
  3. Couldn't agree more. I tip my hat to his talent and he has a SB ring. Red zone failure aside, 2 3 and outs mid 4Q says a lot. Since his SB ring, it's always someone elses fault. "Poor Defense..Can't get a home Championship game..Mike Mccarthy...They drafted a QB instead of getting me more weopons (he has a lot of weopons IMO)..etc." Running out of excuses for the 1-4. Frankly his throwing his coach under the bus is a problem for me. If you thought you had 4 downs in Red Zone then why didn't you try running the ball once, or scrambling down to the 2 yard line to make LaFleur's decision easier. I Picture Mike McCarthy sitting on his couch at home, eating and giggling as Sundays game ended.
  4. Never thought I'd be rooting for Brady but for second time in my life will......This Chiefs team is cocky like Pete Carrol's mid decade Seahawks team. That Hawks-Pats Super Bowl I actually got in Pats corner 2nd half. Seahawks were preaning and taunting throughout the game like they'd won already and really got under my skin. So I was thrilled with the Goal Line interception at the end instead of handing off to Marshawn. Chiefs have great talent. But in the words of Papa Bear "Act like you've been there before". Poor character in a lot of their players. F**k em!!!
  5. That review gives me the chills. Makes me feel like I was there. Thanks !!!!
  6. Driving a stake through Brady’s heart in Super Bowl would complete the circle and do a lot to wipe out 20 years of nightmares. Hope Bills get he opportunity
  7. I posted this earlier. But since the bye after the Hail Murray I've been supporting a local tavern by taking out a big order of wings for game time. My wife calls me the superstitious type with OCD tendencies 🙂.....but Bills haven't lost since I started this little ritual. I ordered yesterday late in 4Q of the Packer game. If I keep doing this will the Bills ever lose again ?
  8. Mahomes covers over a lot of ills. Still Andy Reid is coming off a bye week Gonna take an odd play or two for Browns to win
  9. Despite the national media jumping off bandwagon this week I thought if we could score in the high 20s we could take this thing been watching NFL Football since 1968. Big fan of defense. Tonight showed how important it it still is just win baby!!!
  10. Can’t wait to hear what Nick Wright has to say. And will gleefully tune into Russo/Sirius Monday at 3. NO ONE gave us a chance against the darlings from Baltimore
  11. I feel from the all the talk radio callers today and most media "experts" like we are a home dog. Every self professed "expert" basing everything on last week and our weakness against the run. They dont watch the team every week like we do. While it could go either way I think Bills we be much better than last week. Don't turn the ball over. Limit mistakes. Hope Dabol has a better game plan. Bring it on
  12. I live Downstate in Croton. Since the Arizona Game I've been supporting my local businesses and ordering a big plate of wings to go from "The Tavern." No drinking until gametime. We are on a roll. It coincides with the winning streak and I'm the superstitious type. Not changing a thing. Will order late during the Afternoon Game. Until afternoon game pulling my firewood together, pacing and probably obsessing on ,y computer and on this board.
  13. Oh they are. But it amazing how quick the narrative changes when the Bills underacheive (That is, don't dominate and blow out teams like they did the past month ) and The Ravens get the monkey off their back with the Titans. My take is...talk up Lamar all you want. Let the doubters and Raven bandwagon guys talk themselves out on Sports radio. I think we'll play a lot better. And we have Josh.
  14. While I'm a nervous wreck about Saturday and PO'd at the Steelers, I have a little confidence for this reason: Everyone is talking up LaMar, Harbaugh and suddenly the Ravens are everyones darling. I'm down in NYC Metro area. That coupled with the Bills lukewarm performance Saturday has people here and nationally mouthing off with "Team of Destiny", "LaMar has arrived", "Bills very lucky" talk. Makes me feel like a bit of an underdog. Yes, Frank Reich made some brutal decisions, Yes the bend don't break D killed us, Yes Josh Allen carried the Bills. Most people down here don't watch every game start to finish. I do. This is a very resilient team, and the staff has gotten better at making adjustments. I think you'll see a much better team performance on Saturday. I hope Dabol calls a better game and my biggest worry is the weather.
  15. When that Hail Mary went up I held my breath. Thought this CAN'T happen 3 times in one season (San Diego game- which didn't cost us)
  16. If not for Rams win we'd have seen (IMO) the 8 best QBs in the league this coming WE. Its a QB driven league. Glad we finally have one in the conversation. Bit of a passing of the torch in AFAC as both Rivers and Big Fat Ben eliminated.
  17. Pretty much concur with the sentiment here. I’d rather either Tenn-Balt play KC next week. We contained Lamar ok last year in a loss. He’s lights out today, but think they can come up with a game plan. Henry scares me. Makes Tannehill more dangerous especially in play action Let one of them go through KC i wouldn’t take Steelers lightly but have to beat everyone eventually
