Just learned that Andy Summers has a bunch of US dates in small venues. https://andysummers.com/andy-summers-tours/the-cracked-lens-a-missing-string-an-evening-with-andy-summers/ I’m pretty sure I’m pulling the trigger on the Albany show. The Egg seats fewer than 500 people.
  3. Anyone who doesn’t prefer rye toast with breakfast is wrong.
  4. Translation: “Dallas, will you please, please, please, please, please invite me to minicamp!?!?” Shameless little prick.
  5. Yes, I suppose. I’m definitely not saying he can’t pull this off. I’m just a tad worried.
  6. I’m pretty sure those concerned about McDermott taking over the defense don’t doubt his ability to improve that side of the ball. The concern is that McDermott has struggled as an in-game head coach. Adding a significant amount of responsibility to a job in which he’s far from mastered seems like a recipe for disaster to me. When the other 31 teams are heading into the season with Defensive Coordinators, this move doesn’t strike me as being “ahead of the curve,” in any way. There’s a reason nobody else does this.
  7. KEEP. MY SON’S NAME. OUT YOU F*CKIN’ MOUF!!!
  8. He’s our version of Aaron Boone.
  9. “You tellin’ me you upped it to THREE last Valentine’s Day! DAMN!”
  10. My buddy and I used to watch General Hospital after school.
  11. I used to fly one 365 days/year. Now I do a Bills flag during football season and a Mets flag during baseball season. I between, I’ll do decorative/seasonal/holiday-themed flags.
  12. I haven’t flown an American flag at my house in seven years.
  13. I get all of that. But I think we saw a regression last season with Josh resorting to hero ball too much. I’m not concerned and I don’t think it ended up making any difference last year. I’m just saying that I believe people would be a lot happier with Dorsey if Allen took more high-percentage passing opportunities.
  14. When I said I wasn't an expert, I didn't mean that I was blind and illiterate. It's a bug when Josh is unnecessarily ignoring open receivers so he can try to wait for something else to open further downfield.
  15. My feeling is that Josh Allen makes Dorsey look good at times … and he makes him look bad at times. I am no expert. Never claimed to be and don’t even want to be. But from the comfort of my couch, what I see is a QB who has no respect for his OC and would rather stretch plays out and look for the bombs, than to take what’s given to him and move the chains. I’m not bashing Allen. I love the guy. But there are proper times for him to go into Hero Mode and he did it too much last season. My biggest knock on Dorsey was his inexplicable omission of Hines in the offense. But I don’t know if that’s a Dorsey call or a McDermott call. Either way, not using Hines was .. for lack of a better term .. stupid.
  16. Belichick Harbaugh Reid Shanahan McVay In that order.
  17. I am a man of the cloth. So is @LeviF .
  18. I voted no, because I think that’s the reality. If “It Should Be” was an option, that would’ve been my vote.
  19. How will we ever replace those 6 catches/playoff game??
  20. This was the specific moment in time that made me hate Pete Carroll forever. Classless, bush league crap.
  21. An old high school friend’s dad is in his mid-80s … retired attorney and still owns a motel (you’ve probably driven past it - it’s on Route 9, just south of the Great Escape … Graycourt Motel). He still wears a suit and tie 7 days/week. I actually saw him coming out of his office just the other day. Not exactly sure what he does, but he’s clearly staying busy!
