I am a big Knox fan. Love the kid and his potential. But his glaring weakness, in catching and blocking execution, is consistency. I have faith in the kid that he'll tighten it up.

I think this calls for a "Do you think it was real (or fake)?" poll.

Someone posted in your thread about his dog passing last night. Others have, too. But yeah ... your thread really helped people open up about it. Dozer was a good looking boy. Chloe has been gone over six months and I still can't think about her without my eyes welling up (they are right now). I still have a good cry at least once/month. I've always been a cat guy and my past cats' deaths have shaken me, too. But Chloe was different. I'm still having a hard time with it. My son insists that we leave her food and water bowls where they are. Little does he know, I planned on it, anyway. The cats demand that I fill her water bowl, so they still make use of it. Mrags and his wife sent me a remembrance figurine when she passed. I've got that next to her urn and her basket of toys remains in the living room, which her leash is now in. This TBD community is full of good people and I think it's great that we can mourn/celebrate the lives of our loved ones.

My dad hasn't an ounce of hispanic blood in his body. His mother was very affectionate, though. His father, not at all. My mom's parents were big huggers and kissers and they were 100% Puerto Rican. My theory is that my dad grew up with a cold, affectionless father and when HE became a father, promised himself that he wouldn't put his own children through that. I'm glad. I'm glad I was brought up with tons of affection. I wouldn't want it any other way and I'm proudly keeping it going.

I understand all of this. But I sincerely doubt that it's a "requirement to speak Spanish - Cuban dialect," in order to secure a gig on sports radio. It was a clear swing and whiff (i.e. - unfunny "joke") that I think is offensive. Offensive enough to report? Not at all. I asked a simple question to him and I've received two responses from others defending him. You're discussing the language barrier in a serious manner; the other poster wasn't. I think there's a big difference.
