Thanks for reminding me of all of this. I probably blocked it out because Baker Mayfield is a supreme douche. Had all of this happened to a decent person, I’d probably have some sympathy. But Mayfield has been nothing but an ass.hole since college. And he’s not a very good quarterback.

Not being a smartass here, but how did Cleveland treat him like crap? Was it the coaching situation? Because I feel like they provided him with some talent on the field.

I wish U2 would have gone away in about 1989. They put out fantastic albums in the 80s, then went to pure crap. At this point, they’re just annoying.

When this news first broke, there were articles detailing that there were text exchanges between Favre and others that made it clear that he knew exactly what was going on. How he has never been charged is a mystery. Well … kind of. Someone’s clearly on the take.

It’s really disappointing (to me) what a horrible human being we’re finding out that Favre is. Through his entire run with Green Bay, Favre was my favorite player in the NFL. From that point, he’s really put himself on display as an absolute piece of sh!t.

Upon further review, there are LFGM plates similar to mine on this list. I’m actually due for renewal this month. I wonder if they’ll let it slide. EDIT: just finished renewing. Looks like I was grandfathered in!

I feel (and have felt) like the 2024 Mets season isn’t necessarily a “throw away” season, but still a “do your best with what you’ve got” kind of season. My expectations are around .500, hopefully above - and I’m okay with that. I think Cohen will have a better idea of the team’s needs and will be in more of a “nobody will offer more money to any player I want on the team,” mode next offseason. The lack of attention (again) at DH is primarily what makes me feel this way. Time to find out if last year’s rookies/newbies are gonna be part of the long-term solution - or if it’s time to move on. Love to see Ottavino back, personally. But I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of our young guys and see them separate the men from the boys and the contenders from the pretenders. #LFGM
